A friend recommended the Moussaka and it was delicious! The béchamel on top was creamy and thick, so yummy :) my friend enjoyed the lamb souvlaki as well, I would definitely recommend coming here, great atmosphere and food!

This is probably my favorite place to eat when visiting ABQ. Get teased a lot since its not a mexican food place, and not a New Mexican food place at that. It’s just that good and harder to find then the other so I take advantage when I can. They have a ton of specials, every day local flare dishes to choose from as well as your more traditional dishes. Its always a hard choice on what to have - but comforting that no matter the choice you wont go wrong!

Very, very delicious. The food was light but filling. We got hummus and pitas as an appetizer and it was really good. The spicy chicken pita sandwich had the right amount of spicy. The side salad leveled out the heat and the freshly made potato fries where also to die for. Moussaka was well made. Different but good. Would reccomend.

TIP SCAM BEWARE $2.00 TIPS ADDED!!! TO UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS !! A NEW TYPE OF SCAM GOING AROUND BY RESTAURANT BUSINESSES! I ordered a Hummus Chicken Dinner, price is supposed to be $10.50 + Tax $11.31 BUT THE REGISTER RANG UP $13.31 ADDED $2.00 without my permission. WHEN I ASKED THE CASHIER “Why did you add $2.00 without my permission” she became argumentative. And the supposed manager said You have to remove the the $2.00 and clear before you submit it and sign it. I am 59 years of age, have been going to this restaurant since I was 17yrs old. THIS PLACE APPEARS TO BE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIPS, AND THESE TYPES OF SCAMS ARE BEING IMPLEMENTED TO GAIN ADDITIONAL FUNDS FROM UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS! My receipt below is issued by the manager after I complained and was issued a refund for $2.00. It would not reflect the $2.00 added tip.

We frequently go to GYROS MEDITERRANEAN in Nob Hill across from UNM for lunch and dinner, always enjoying their wonderful Mediterranean foods and desserts. This time we enjoyed special treats – Beef Tenderloin Tips with rice, tzatziki and Greek salad, and the Mediterranean Rice Bowl with Chicken Souvlaki, hummus and salad. Both meals were outstanding and delicious! We followed up with desserts of Rice Pudding and Walnut Baklava, both also amazing. Other times we’ve been there, we loved the gyros, Souvlaki Kabob Dinner, and the Vegetarian Moussaka. The menu is big, and so far everything we’ve had is satisfyingly delicious! Service is fast and friendly, prices are very reasonable for such great food! Very highly recommended

Fresh and delicious gyros! Enjoyed dining at this Mediterranean restaurant while traveling. Clean environment including bathrooms (very happy they had hand sanitizer available in several areas), and well staffed for our holiday visit. The Family Tray had a ton of food and all our kids loved putting together their own gyros from the ingredients on the trays. The salad is light and refreshing. We went back for more tzatziki sauce and had enough meat for leftovers. Parking meter out front.

OMG! I wanted to eat here everyday! The food is really good. The only thing I didn't care for was their fried potato chip side dish.... I would face preferred French fries or a hearty type of potato side....but those chips as a side it just takes away from all their other food options in my opinion... Good food regardless, I'm still a fan.

My husband and I regularly dine at Gyros Mediterranean. The menu is varied and prices are very reasonable. The gyros platter has fresh Greek salad, an overstuffed gyros, and crispy fried potatoes. Then we order just a gyros sandwich and share the potatoes and salad. The iced cold beer (I get the 10 oz. one) is the perfect accompaniment. Parking is a challenge if you go during lunch hours.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, not too busy with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Food took a while to get ready. I found the house made potato chips good but some pieces were undercooked and soaked in grease. The gyro and falafel were tasty but a little dry. I still enjoyed the meal and would come back.

1st Timer, My food was amazing! My Gyro Chicken Pita and Greek salad were fresh and delicious! My GF pita was better than any GF bread product I’ve ever had! Staff was friendly and gave outstanding customer service! This meal felt like a celebration and I am definitely coming back !

Stopped by for lunch and had a great meal. A fresh salad and gyros beef and lamb double meat and a baklova on side mmm. The service was great. They have a nice shaded area outside on the side walk. It's nice and cool for a lunch.

I’ve been eating here since I was in college at UNM back in 2008 and I have yet to have anything short of an exceptional experience here. My fiancé and I both ordered the Kota Reganati which was delicious! The flavor in the chicken, rice, potatoes and Greek salad were second to none. I also ordered a side of spanakopita for myself and it was probably the best spanakopita I’ve ever had. This place is soo good that we will be having them cater our wedding rehearsal here soon. 10/10 would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

Best Greek spot in town! Nice big menu with daily specials. Owned by a real Greek guy who is super cool and happy to chat with his customers. Flaming cheese, lamb chops, fresh made potato chips are a must try. You can tell they pay close attention to the quality and freshness of ingredients.

Insanely delicious, quick, and the price is right!!! Best food I've had in a while.

LOVED it! Very generous portions, utterly delicious, just great all around. I had the chicken souvlaki. So much flavor and the chicken was still juicy and grill tasting. But OMG the homemade potato chips! I used them to eat up the remaining tzatziki sauce... And the baklava pieces were huge and so deliciously sticky. Would absolutely go again.

Great service and delicious food! We tried a variety of menu items and they were all wonderful. We love Mediterranean food, and this was some of the best we’ve ever had.

Good service! Lady who took my order was a little stand off-ish but the lady who brought me my food was as kind as it gets! The food was very good, I got the lamb kabob dinner. Lamb was a little dry but nothing the delicious tzatziki can’t fix!

Good. I'll be back, but I will also know to ask for less pepper on the food. It might be best to do so, so pepper lovers get an authentic meal, but people who have sensitivities could also benefit from the general wonderfulness of the dishes.

For being a place with Gyro in the name I was extremely disappointed in their Gyro itself. Ordered a salad with Gyro meat and it was spongy and tasted way under cooked. It’s supposed to be typically crispy if not on the well done side. Kinda a waste of money in my opinion

This is my all time favorite place to get lunch or dinner. For a casual night or a fancier occasion before a show. It is always fresh, delicious and affordable! They have more vegetarian options than most restaurants and are always expanding with new and delicious items. Incredible desserts, appetizers and drinks including beer and wine. I happily eat here weekly!

Wow. Was on the run and having a severe Gyro crave and my previous favorite gyro restaurant has close. Sooo…First time here at the Mediterranean and very pleased. Gyro meat and sauce are top draw and came out quick and piping hot. Next time I’ll get the combo as the Greek salad looks awesome.

First time visiting and it was absolutely fantastic! I ordered a gyro sandwich and the meat was tender and tasty. The pita was soft with a chew. Fairly busy but service was fast. I had such a good experience I ordered another sandwich to go! Parking is cramped but numerous behind the store. There is street parking via meters and there is a pay lot nearby.

I'm glad I ran across this little hidden gem! The service was friendly and the food was delicious!! I should have stopped here sooner. The souvlaki dinner was soo good!! The bread, sald with dressing, rice and kabab was just finger licking good! I will definitely come back!

Absolutely delicious!! My husband and I don't often get to go on dates anymore. When we found this restaurant, we were so happy! The employees were polite, the price was perfect, and the food was mouth watering! Will be going here again ☺️

These are some great gyros! They have a medium sized menu full of delicious items. The inside is a little small, but the staff is friendly and can accommodate groups. There is a dining area outside too. The place is clean and parking can sometimes be tricky right next to the university, but overall this is a great place to eat!
