First time here. This was a wonderful meal. The service was fantastic. Shawnee was wonderful. She was very attentive and helpful. I was very happy to see so many gluten free options. The grilled artichoke appetizer was terrific. It was worth every penny. The lamb chops were wonderful and well seasoned. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. I even got a flourless chocolate torte to go! Decent food, terrible customer service. My waitress was rude and hateful and was not nice when one person in our party was not feeling great and did not order anything. We spent way over a hundred dollars for our food. Got the prime rib special for two. Prime rib was juicy and flavorful. The mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes very cheesy. The rye bread was hot and fresh with butter. The wedge sald was good but needed a bit more dressing. The atmosphere was ok. Kind of cowboy themed. A bit rundown and needed some updating. Bath had a sewer smell in it. An average experience.

So the food is fine. But let me explain my 1 star. Upon arriving at this restraunt i was greeted by rude employees sighing and complaining, even though there were no lines, plenty of open tables we were told to wait since didn't have a reservation, after 15 mins and nobody entering or leaving we were taken to a table. After the first hostess complained saying she was tired and to have someone else take care of us. We were eventually seated. After 20 minutes of sitting i had to grab an employee to get a manager for me. Same manager that made us wait. Now that we are finally able to order i was given the wrong order. Im not going to waste my time and try to get the correct one. Oh on top of that it is my girlfriends Bday, very bad experience. Wish i could give 0 stars. Update. They paid for our food. We paid for our drinks, leaving much happier, they offered to remake order. From 1 star to 3 because we had to deal with it.

Beautiful restaurant with extremely friendly staff. The food is expensive and while the lobster was incredible, the steak left a little more to be desired. It wasn't bad, but for the price I expected a little better. Either way, I'd eat here again.

Really good dinner. The prime rib sandwich with raw horseradish was the bomb. Salads were crispy and included a great variety of veggies. The server was pleasant, as was the ambiance.

I took my granddaughter for a nice Sunday dinner. We had the campfire and it was amazing. We up our appetizer to the wheel with a little bit of everything we liked all of it except for the hot chicken strips. I had New York strip my granddaughter the ribs. Her ribs were so so very good. Then shared chocolate cake.

Black Angus Steakhouse In Albuquerque, New Mexico. I Have To Say That After Reading Reviews About This Steakhouse Location. -Rude Customer Service’ I Decided Not To Go. But My Husband Decided To Give It A Try. Service Was Good, Waitress Was Attentive. Our Steaks Cooked To Perfection, The Place Is Clean, We Had Great Time With Friends. Looks Like Everyone In Our Table Of Seven Were Happy, Glad We Went. Good Experience After All.

The service here is impeccable our server Dale was attentive, extremely polite and stayed abreast our needs. He went out his way to make our birthday special! The food was good, baked potato was small and not enough sour cream and butter. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The potato skins on the appetizers was okay. It was good but honestly I expected the food to be better. Service is amazing!

We are from Kansas City- and we love our steaks A LOT - and we sure appreciate a good steak and an excellent meal & service when we get it, and we sure did here at this Black Angus Steakhouse. My husband had the Prime Rib- he said excellent!! I had the special with an 8 oz sirloin,lobster tail and fried shrimp- all perfect. The sirloin was wonderful. Even The sides and salads were really excellent. The service by Miguel was almost perfect. I recommend this place as a great place to eat if you are in Albuquerque..

The food has potential. My steak was the Filet Mignon with Brussel sprouts and fries. My steak was cooked how I asked, the Brussel sprouts on the other hand had a horrible taste to them. I LOVE brussels but these just tasted bad. I think whatever sauce or seasoning they used burnt or something because they don’t look burnt but they tasted horribly burnt or rancid. I was so disappointed. My husbands steak was tasty but mostly just fat. The mac and cheese was definitely my favorite side. My husband ended up giving it to me to make up for the Brussels. The potato was just okay. For the price and it being a steakhouse, I’d expect the sides to look a little better or at least more appetizing. The potato looked and tasted like the ones from Wendy’s across the street. That alone made me not want to come again because we paid close to a hundred dollars for just us two. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price, but the food is not bad.

This was a Great Find for me! I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Service was great and the tea glass was never empty. This is of the steak house in the past. . . High Backed Booths where you felt as if you were only there with your friends or family. . .and no small area. The bar, for those inclined to partake. . .looked cool and had a large variety. Brought back good memories and had a good time. Thanks to the Black Angus Crew!

Prime rib was excellent cooked exactly as ordered. Filet mignon was tender and cooked perfectly.

Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that our drinks were always full. He also made some great recommendations for wine pairings. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Black Angus Steakhouse. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a business dinner or any other special occasion. Black Angus Steakhouse is casual establishment offering steakhouse style meals. Rivers, prime rib, fillet, etc. Plenty of seating in the large dinning areas or you can sit at the bar. The servers are very friendly and the food is good. The wait time for your meal is average for this type and size of restaurant.

the waitstaff is amazing, they are really nice but, The wait time to get food is about 40 minutes, wife ordered a fillet mignon (medium rare) that was bleu but cooked on the outside. I ordered the ribeye steak (medium) and got rare.. my lobster tails were awesome and so was the asparagus but for a place that is called a “steakhouse” it did not suffice in quality and temp of meat. The black angus steak sauce came in clutch to finish my meal. Wish I had something nicer to say. Definitely equivalent to an outback or a chilis for steak lol….

Great experience, even though we don't have reservations when we arrive, she was so polite and look for a available table in their busy day. The stakes were cooked perfectly delicious and quickly.

Perfect every time. 20oz beers and a perfectly cooked steak. This plave never fails. Totally worth the price. The cucumber ranch is so delicious.

My wife and I hadn't been in since the pandemic took over. What a very pleasant evening we spent having a very nice dinner. The prime rib was perfection. Bread was delish, salad nice and fresh. I even ordered an appetizer of fried zucchini. No disappointments. Our server Tara was really nice and very attentive not only to us but all her patrons. We will be back. (I need pictures)...

I have never been to black angus before so I had high expectations for a first time customer. We had ordered two drinks which were fantastic but everything that followed was below expectations. We had ordered a ribeye & New York strip medium rare that came out extremely salty & more raw than anything. I had my ribeye sent back & it came back still raw but slightly warmer. We didn’t want to be rude & have them redo both meals but it was very gut wrenching to eat. Our waitress was very nice & helpful but there is only so much she could have done to fix the meals. For future customers please ensure to let them know to not salt the living hell on the steaks & use a meat thermometer to check temperatures if not confident in cooking a steak. For a 100$ meal definitely was underwhelming.

We had an excellent experience at Black Angus. We were greeted as we walked in and were given a table immediately. Dale was an excellent server. After taking our order, he brought our drinks and appetizers. The Prime rib and New York steaks were perfectly cooked, and the sides were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for accommodating our last minute 50th Anniversary dinner! I called with a weeks notice and was able to make the reservation for 26 people! We enjoyed a delicious dinner in a private room that allowed us to mingle and enjoy tasty appetizers. After dinner we were also provided with silverware and plates for the special cake we brought with us. Accommodating, great service and delicious food. Too bad I filled up on appetizers but I have a nice mid rare NY Strip and Mac n cheese to take home. Thank you again for a lovely evening.
