I have been a loyal Marriott Platinum member for several years and I stick by the brand, however I stayed at this particular hotel for a week in June 2022 on a work trip and this is by far the absolute worst Marriott property I have ever seen. The property itself was old, run down and in desperate need of a refresh. The “gym” is so small that it was hardly useable. The customer service, though is where I draw the line. The assistance from the two on site “managers” Eugene and Brenda is non-existent and appalling. Not exactly sure what they are “managing”. Early on in my stay the refrigerator in my room broke, spoiling all of the food that I had purchased for the week. I did move rooms, but I had to restock the fridge with all of the food that had spoiled. The staff confirmed the refrigerator had, in fact broken. The front desk requested pictures (which were sent and housekeeping confirmed this with what was in my trash, or so I was told…) and stated a manager would get back to me asap. Over a month has now passed and neither Eugene or Brenda have bothered to even reply to my emails. I have sent several now, and not even so much as a courtesy reply. While still on site I asked several times to speak with one of the managers to get this issue resolved and neither employee was ever anywhere to be found to even have a conversation with me. There was always some excuse as to why I couldn’t speak with one of them. I am honestly shocked that the Marriott brand continues to allow this slum of a property to use the Marriott name. This place and it’s customer service (or lack thereof) is a disgrace to the Marriott brand.

This is a good option if you're looking for an easy residence inn off the highway with no frills. Its below average in terms of what Marriott Bonvoy members may have come to expect from Residence Inns, but it's not terrible. Staff - 5 stars Breakfast - 3-4 stars (better than expected) Room - 2 stars Overall, I would recommend; however, You should know what you're getting into. The furniture, fixtures and appliances are all somewhat dated, and the carpets are overdue for a change. There are clear signs of heavy use and age (see photos). However, if Marriott renovated this property, it would be huge because the staff are great, the location is good and overall it's very convenient. It's located in an office park/strip mall off i-25 and now has security patrolling the property throughout the night.

Marriott should be ashamed that this property is tied to their brand. Outdated, dirty, noisy, and the beds are uncomfy. The sofa bed is a joke and shouldn’t even be considered as an option as it is just a bed of springs. If you have a family or need two beds, look to stay elsewhere. There are no 2 queen bed rooms and no king sized beds, unless you get the two bedroom suite for stupid amounts of money. The Hampton Inn is right next door and I don’t really see how they could be any worse than this Residence Inn.

Both myself and my wife had a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered Mark was there to greet us and helped us through some difficulties when checking in. I have stayed at a plethora of Marriott’s all over the country and this was one of my best experiences. Thank you Mark and Staff.

Minus star for parking issues (not enough at night) even though it was billed into the rate. The floors are thin so you can hear the person above you walking at 4am in the morning. The suites are awsome.

I stayed here with a wildland fire crew during the calf canyon/hermits peak fires in May/June of 2022. The rooms were dirty with strangers stuff when we arrived, the staff was unprofessional and kind of rude, myself and my crew never got any points for our stay and I wasn't gonna leave a review about all that but I think it's important to share this: Starting in Sept of 2023 my govt. credit card that was used for that trip began getting fraudulent charges of approx $1600-$5500. Avoid fraudulent charges a year and a half later and just don't stay here..it's not worth the trouble

I had a business trip to Albuquerque and prefer to stay with Marriott. I probably won't return to this location, and I will check out other Marriott's in the area when I am back in a couple of months. The place is conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and close to I25. The building and property are dated, but the grounds around the facility were clean and well kept. I don't know why, as a single business traveler, I was placed in a room that appeared to be a room that was rented for people with pets. The furniture and carpet were exceptionally stained, the wallpaper peeling excessively from the wall, a fridge with hair on the wire racks inside. Sticky countertop near the sink. I can say the utensils and placeware are newer and of decent quality, and shockingly, the bed was comfortable, and the towels were actually soft! It can be loud at times (I'm guessing the walls and ceiling are thin). The persons who checked me in and put were polite, friendly, and professional. I highly doubt I will return.

The hotel and rooms are getting tired, but clean enough. Needs an update. Staff is good but shorthanded like everywhere.

Rooms are decent for what it is. The wheelchair accessible rooms literally mean you can fit through the doors but have to rearrange the furniture just to make it through the livingroom area. Don't think you will be able to leave the bedroom once the sofa bed is extended. It is a bit pricey for the quality. Could definitely use some cleaning of the hall carpets. We didn't use the kitchen facilities in the rooms so I cannot comment on if the work properly or not. It's not horrible or extravagant but if you need a quick stay where you feel safe and it is in a good location to resturants and the freeway then it would be a good option.

I want to like this place. The staff is really nice. But the rooms look like they were built in 1987 and then were never updated ever again. Fixtures all creek and some of them are falling off the hinges. The room smells kind of like feet. My vent fan wasn't working properly. The gym is so small I wouldn't even call it one. Doesn't even have a bench. Overall however, the place is acceptable. The company booked this place last minute, but if you're booking, I do suggest going elsewhere.

I would not stay here again. In fact if it had not been midnight, we would have left and went somewhere else. The whole hotel is old and dilapidated. The furniture in the room was falling apart, door knobs falling off the handle, we had to use the couch and it had not been changed from previous guests. In the morning there were roaches on the floor as well. The only thing good I can say is that the breakfast was decent.

Mmmmm. I stay in a lot of Marriotts. I won't be staying at that one again. Can't say I was impressed the mold stains on the ceiling in the bathroom . The first thing out of the reception counter lady was we won't be cleaning your room every day. Bad vibes man, bad vibes.

Room decor is "tired." Couches and chairs are worn. The carpet is tired too. Time for some upgrades. Not up to Marriott or Residence Inn standards.

Great place to stay. Right next to good restaurants and everything else you need with walking distance.

Good location for the balloon fiesta. Clean rooms. Free breakfast. Loud air conditioner and refrigerator make sleeping difficult.

I have been staying in this hotel for my work trips on and off for 10 years now and in that time no renovations have taken place. The hotel is in need of a complete makeover and seems to be neglected by the Marriott brand.

Ac problem fixed after I hunted down the engineer. He did eval and fix problem quickly. Garbage from rooms left in hallways all day leaving unpleasant aroma. Staff was helpful and efficient.

No place to put suitcases in the rooms. No foldable luggage holder and no furniture that was a good spot for the suitcases that did not require us to move them around during our stay. We wound up using a bedside table, the dining table, and the dining chairs. Other than this problem and a few minor cosmetic issues, the hotel was what I expect from (and why I prefer) Residence Inn: a good place to get a decent night's sleep with a full kitchen and a living room to make your stay more comfortable while awake.

The place has friendly staff. The breakfast menu was limited. The cook in the kitchen was friendly and efficient. The vegetarian scramble was very good. Just a note to the management to not keep the vegetarian scramble under the same lid as the sausage/bacon. The meat smell permeates to the vegetarian dish. Please consider putting the eggs and meat side by side and the veggie scramble separately. We had an issue with the heating/ cooling vent not working in one of the bedrooms. When I informed the front desk, there was no reaction. A simple regret or even an apology for the inconvenience would be appreciated.

Great layout, appreciated the ground floor even tho a dated facility. However, the hall rugs and suite rugs were dirty and in the suite holes and pulled threads. It may be almost time for renovations but cleaning the rugs is not expensive!

The hotel needs renovated (new carpet and new furniture), badly. However, the bed was comfortable enough. Micah at the front desk is wonderful. Always willing to help with a smile 😊. Pralay is the continental breakfast cook ( or should I say chef). He does a phenomenal job preparing breakfast every morning and is a joy to talk with. The best hotel breakfast I've ever eaten. The cleaning staff does a wonderful job, as well. The kids really enjoyed the pool and basketball court. The fitness room is tiny and the lighter dumbbells are missing. I would have rated a 5 with some much needed updates.
