After dealing with multiple problems from this particular location on Iliff, I learned that the deposit of $100 was kept because they said the room I was in smelled like smoke. I’m on oxygen and DO NOT SMOKE. However they told me I had to pay another $50 deposit which I did and they said it would be back in my bank account in 3-5 business days. After putting me in a different room they asked for another $100 deposit at which point I decided to leave. I never received my $50 deposit or the $100. I’m still fighting to get both back in my bank account. When I went to the location to ask about my deposit the girl assumed I was there for the “outstanding breakfast” and told me I was not allowed on the property. As me and my husband left the girl followed us out saying don’t come back. This all stemmed from a not so nice review. How sad the way someone can be treated while having our money just plain and simply not returned. I worked Customer Service for a well know grocery chain for over 10 years and this is beyond unacceptable. If there’s anyone that can help further this problem please let me know.

Won’t be staying here again. Front desk employees were indifferent and acted very obviously annoyed to be working. They also asked for a $100 deposit because I was paying cash which is not something I’ve ever done before. I really hope I get my deposit back once I check out. Once I checked into my room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke which shouldn’t because they claim to be 100% smoke free. Then I looked up to the ceiling and there was what looked like splash of something red. Could be something as simple as red paint, blood maybe.. I don’t know but that is something very unsettling. Looked around the room with my phone flashlight and the table had the same red substance on the tables legs. I immediately went to front desk to change my room. Don’t stay here if you’re thinking of it. There’s a bunch of druggies outside. Bad area, bad staff, horrible rooms. Carpets dirty. Furniture is very outdated. Not worth the cheap prices. Learned my lesson about cheap prices so never again

I was going to stay a night there coming from Arizona on my way to Texas, but I was advised by another client about thieves on that area since I had my pick up truck full of tools. Don't know nothing about the Hotel so to be fair I can only give you half of the reviews stars. Night shift guy at front desk was awesome Nov 2 2022

We stayed here with our kids on a family road trip and were not impressed. The staff is great and tries to do whatever they can to be helpful but there are a lot of problems. The rooms aren't very clean, lights, tv and coffee maker didn't work. Carpet is filthy and there's a lot of noise from people outside in the middle of the night. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked. We made a reservation here expecting breakfast because that's what was stated on the website but were told upon arrival late at night that there was no breakfast provided. Wyndham makes no attempt to notify guests that they aren't providing breakfast and leaves the front desk employees to explain everything to frustrated guests. Wyndham is an awful company and we will never stay in one of their hotels again.

This was probably the worst room I've ever stayed in. Ice machine doesn't work, elevator doesn't work, you can see where they've had water damaging on the ceilings. No breakfast and they use the excuse that that county hasn't allowed them to even the other hotels in the area are serving breakfast. This place needs so much work they'd be better off to try to get a grant from the state of New Mexico and turn it into a homeless refuge.

Had a reservation for location on coors. When me and my family arrived after driving from Omaha we where told our room was giving to someone else. I had called on 4 different occasions to make sure room was available and each time told yes I was in their computer. Then when we arrived computer was down. But how was our room rented if computer was down? And then me wife and kids where turned away. Not a good way to do business

The front desk staff were great. The bathroom was dirty as there was a towel and some make up smudged on the bathroom counter. There was no shower courten, and the TV countertop was also smudged with some makeup looking thing. The beds were comfortable, tho. There was plenty of room for the kids and the baby to play around, and the t.v was great for the kids' game system. Other than the dirty bathroom countertop and the no shower courten oh, and the dirty countertop under the t v. It was a good night's stay. We did not see if there was a breakfast offered.

The drug pandemic really shows at this place. I had someone trying to share my room with me. There were many homeless people around one the property. The shower didn't work. Continental breakfast was very basic. I did not feel safe with my children.

The pros:great staff and room was clean The cons: carpet needed replacing 10 years ago. It is filthy and stained and hallway smells like urine. The hotel is in a terrible part of town-many homeless wandering and two camped out at the back of the hotel. Very scary to walk dog at night. Also this is a “pet friendly “ hotel but they have NO place for pets to “go”. I had to take my dog across the street to another hotel and use what they had. Grounds around hotel are dismal. Do NOT stay here.

For the rate charged this motel was as good as or better than many others I've stayed at that charged far more. Staff was outstanding. Rooms were clean and comfortable. "Breakfast" did leave something to be desired. Location is pretty central and easy to access.

Rooms old and furniture beat up and carpets dirty. Homeless people in parking lot..pretty much in every hotel in area. Cockroaches in hallway and in bathtub.Front desk personnel friendly on phone and at check in. Breakfast is non existent..basically 2 cereals but no milk,a few pieces of bread, muffins, and bagels. No juice( machine broken) limited coffee. Waffle machine was working so my son went to make a waffle at 9 and everything was already turned off. Nightshift clerk(?) was nice but the ladies at the desk when we returned the keys to leave were not. Will not ever stay here again

I booked 2 rooms for 8 people. The location is scetchy but I have yet to see an area in Albuquerque that isn't. The rooms were clean but there wasn't a microwave and fridge in both rooms like I requested. One room had it though. The Direct TV wasn't working...no the weather wasn't why. There wasn't enough towels or soap -shampoo for 4 people. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice. The AC worked well. The breakfast wasn't anything really. Juice, cereal and waffles. No fruit, yogurt really nothing else. It was 75.00 each room for the night.

Very sketchy area. Room lock was not operating with key card and handle not functioning locking my 80+ disabled mother in room...front desk agent not helpful and rude passing blame my door opening skills and implying the door handle nonfunction to be my fault. Two other guests seemed off put by terrible customer service issues also. Would not stay again.

I will start off and say that the staff was very pleasant. They were helpful and very nice. We were in town for the balloon fiesta so their prices were jacked up as was everywhere else. I however think they were way to high for the quality of the place though. It was clean but there were several things that would stop me from staying again. The shower sprayed out the side of the tub so we had to constantly have an extra towel on the floor to clean it up. The bathroom door had drywall screws holding it together. It looked like our room had been broken into before. The door handles on our room and outside coming in were broke and you had to wiggle them up and down to find the sweet spot. There were homeless people and drug addicts every where and I mean every where. All day and night. No one felt safe going out to the car alone. We saw drug deals in the parking lot right in front of us. Other than all that the beds were pretty comfortable and it had good TV channels. If the costs of all the hotels in the city hadn't been so high this would not have been on my list of places to stay. Balloon Fiesta was incredible and petroglyph national monument trails were very enjoyable.

The rooms are fairly clean. The carpet in the entire hotel needs a good cleaning. The hallways are really bad. Climate control worked well and kept the room a constant, comfortable temperature. The linens in the bathroom and on the bed were clean and white. Front desk staff is decent although they all seemed more interested in their cell phones rather than helping guests. My major problem with this place is the homeless and beggar that wander the property begging aggressively for money. Don't walk outside at night unless necessary.

For the only reason a would recommend this facility is for the pet policy. Extremely affordable. Pet lovers, this is a hotel for you and your fury babies. The location is trashy and looks unsafe. The service was ok, nothing to remember. The room was clean, the TV was not working, for one night was not that bad.

Everything thing was good. The room was clean, smelled good.. The tv didn't work in the room,I called the front desk, and the guy came right away and fixed it...only problem was all the homeless people walking around all night long ..

Wondered why neighboring motels had security fences but Super 8 didn't. Still, decent room at a decent price. "Free" continental breakfast is a joke at all Super 8's.

I just checked in and I am ready to leave. I definitely do not feel safe leaving my car parked here. One of outside doors was not working, so I had to carry all my luggage from the other side of the hotel to my room (and the wifi is non-existent!) Stay far away!!

I thought it was a good hotel, kinda of of getto on the inside. Old carpet and it smell like wet feet in a shoe and a cologne together. Small restroom and lot of homeless people hang around there at night. We had one guy screaming most of the night by our room window. We call the front office and they got the security to remove the individual by he came back again after and hour after he got chase off.

Nice room as far as Super 8 goes. Clean and everything works in the room. While others have complained about the breakfast and/or lack there of as well as a non-functioning ice machine, we found the breakfast to be comparable to other Super 8’s {cereals (hot & cold), waffles, etc.} and a working ice machine. The one down side to the room was the continuous noise in the walls all night long (I suspect this location uses steam heat). Now for the bad part. This particular Super 8 is located in a not-so-pleasant part of town with numerous panhandlers and street people. I was worried about my vehicle parked outside overnight. The parking lot is very well lit which helped to abate my fear.

Careful, homeless and crackheads everywhere, hopping the fence. Hallways and rooms were funny, doors missing handles, the room door handle only half worked, water fixtures installed backwards, shower leaking into the wall, crazy loud people late at night, the list goes on. We didn't know much about the area, and it's sketchy as hell. I'd stay in a different city completely next time.

Omg the most God aweful rudest staff ever. Would never go there again for any reason. I would sleep in my truck first. Neighborhood is very ghetto and not safe. Guns sirens you name it all night. Tried to break into both our trucks. Damaged my sisters. Worst motel I have ever stayed at.

You should just tear it down and start over. Get rid of Sonia she is rude and raised her voice at me several times. The drain plugs were broken, the rug was filthy the mattress was terrible. The screen was broken. I don't understand why you ask for a $50.00 deposit in case I steel, damage or etc. But I had to put up with all the broken and dirty stuff.

Pros: Wasn't sold out. We didnt sleep outside. Friendly morning staff Cons: Homeless circling the cars throughout the night. Room smells like sweat and smoke. Disgruntled night staff. Have to walk outside to back of building to get up the stairs This is an ok place if you're in a pinch but if there's any other cleaner options I'd suggest to use them.

Me personally this place get a bad review, I think that it is excellent for the price. The rooms are very clean staff is attentive to your needs, The remote is in the room's,and it works. The TV and the channel list is excellent better than anywhere I've been including the high price hotels. Sure there are people walking around but they keep them off of the hotel property the best they can. They're not breaking into cars, but that's done everywhere in every hotel even the high end ones. I would like to thank the hotel for allowing me to stay there and being attentive to my needs I will definitely be staying there again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfy and convenient. The carpets did seem alittle dirty but overall the stay was excellent.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Bad place to rent the room. My kids experience some type of biting from bedbugs or spiders. They dealt with rash and blisters to their fingers and body. Also bad service from the hotel house keepers..reporting a fight in our room when their was only kids and I in the room...which was a lie to report. Wasn't a good stay for us..

Most definitely needs some repairs (mostly superficial). Just walking in from the side door to the room was missing ceiling tiles with pipes exposed and surrounding tiles with what looks like water damage, even more on the second floor (room on second). The door stops on walls looked rather rotted and anything hung (shower curtain, hand towel rack) were coming off the walls. Staff really nice, tried calling ahead and let it ring a while, never got an answer though. It could be really nice, if some superficial flaws were fixed.

The toilet reservoir lid doesn't fit, smoke detector is missing, looks blood stain on the bed skirt and mattress. no lotion and conditioner and the breakfast is cold coffee with package danish. But at least we slept really hard and didn't catch any bed bugs. what a wonderful experienced 😍🥰

I think they try to give the bad rooms out first. If they don't complain it's good to go. Carpets smell bad. Had to change room. Second room great. Why why why why.

  • 1/5 Michelle B. 2 years ago on Google
First room we checked into was dirty. Door handles on both rooms were loose and didn’t open well. Sink wouldn’t drain. Ice machine not working. No breakfast even though advertised on Booking.com. Very dirty carpets. Very dirty place, would never recommend or stop again
