Had an excellent stay here on our first trip to ABQ. The neighborhood is awesome - it’s residential but walking distance to several craft breweries and doesn’t have the touristy vibe of old town (although you can walk there in like 15 min if that’s on your list). It’s really centrally located and totally safe. The rooms are very well decorated with local art and prints. I felt kind of pampered here, there are a lot of really nice personal touches. Jesse was a wonderful host and has done an amazing job of restoring this property. We stayed in the Lottie suite and loved having a kitchen and living room.

We stayed at the Painte Lady for a few days a few months back and had an awesome time! The rooms were super clean, spacious, and really well decorated. You can tell a lot of time and thought has been put into the rooms to make the guests’ stay pleasant. Jesse, the owner, was super friendly and chatted with us about the paranormal experiences he’s witnessed at the Painted Lady. The area outside the rooms is really beautiful and unique as well. Communication prior to check in was exceptional. The entire experience was all around great. We will definitely be back at some point. Highly recommend.

We loved everything about our stay! We stayed in the 2 bedroom Lottie room and it was lovely and had everything we could need. This bed and brew is welcoming and inviting and so cute! We enjoyed the fire one night and beers every night and Jesse, the owner, was so fun to talk to. I'd 10/10 recommend staying here!

By far the best experience of our life! We had our wedding here and it was perfect. Jesse (owner) is the best and will help you out with everything. The rooms are beautiful, perfect for getting ready or staying overnight. The environment outside is lovely. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here or hosting your wedding. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for the best night of our lives :)

We had a great stay. The suites were cute and cozy and we loved the hoppy hour. Having fenced in parking was nice and the location was great for walking to Old Town. Was the perfect pet friendly place for our stay in Albuquerque.

We stayed at the painted lady in late February when it was pretty cold in Albuquerque. We stayed in the Lizzie suite and it was comfortable, warm, spacious and had everything we needed. We were visiting my son and the outdoor space made for a great place to spend time with him. The location is quiet and was perfectly located for everything we planned. It will be our go to place when visiting Albuquerque in the future.

A friend and I stayed in the Lottie for two nights with a canine companion. We were greeted in the converted trolley bar by Jesse, Candy, and Ipa for hoppy hour. The beer selection was impressive and we were offered tips and suggestions on where to eat and find additional breweries within walking distance. We could not have been more pleased with the room, grounds, or gracious hosts. The rooms are unique and filled with history. I'm pretty sure not a single wall is square which adds to its charm. We each has a separate bedroom with a private patio which was perfect for Penny the hound. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, water kettle, dishes etc and the living room was very comfortable. Having secure parking meant one less thing to worry about. I would highly recommend the Painted Lady if you are wanting a fun and unique way to visit ABQ.

Charming, very clean and well maintained! We stayed in the Lizzie room which had a full kitchen, one bedroom and sitting area with fold out couch. The decor was well done with snippets of the history of the building and the renovations. Jesse met us for Hoppy hour and we loved the concept of the bed & brew! The B&B had private gated parking.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This is now the only place I will ever stay or recommend people stay in Albuquerque. We had such an amazing getaway in ABQ at Painted Lady Bed & Brew. The grounds and room were so unique with so much attention to detail, and such a comfortable stay! The room was large, clean, and just so nice from top to bottom. I have ZERO negative things to say. This is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed ANYWHERE. Add on top of the excellent accommodations and free on-site parking a “Hoppy Hour” every afternoon with local craft brews, a rich (and haunted) history to the building (a former saloon, brothel and grocery store), a great central location and the coolest proprietor (seriously, Jesse is the best), and I don’t know why you would ever want to stay anywhere else. I can’t wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend during the end of the Balloon Festival. Jesse was very accommodating and gave us suggestions about things to do that were nearby! Inside the room, there is a lot of history in the decor, pictures, and plaques on the walls! We will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay at the Painted Lady. Great location, pet friendly, nice comfortable space, kitchen, and lovely outdoor area (with corn hole). Jesse the owner was super friendly and helpful with great recommendations. Don't miss happy hour in the trolley! Thanks so much Jesse.

This place is unexpectedly beautiful. The host has created a unique, historic, and comforting place to decompress. Everything was clean, comfortable and plenty of amenities to make our stay great. (Plus a fantastic court yard.) The Hoppy Hour was a great treat - excellent beer and a host (and partner) who were sociable and helpful at giving us local Albuquerque options. We didn’t run in to any ghosts or bumps in the night (which I suppose could be good or bad) but the room was adorn with history. It definitely gave us the sense of the era. Everything about it was perfection!

My wife and I stayed at the Painted Lady on our recent trip to Albuquerque. We cannot recommend the Painted Lady enough. Jesse (the owner) has put a lot of work into this place, and both the ambiance and history are amazing. (There's even artifacts hanging in each room that tell some of the story of this place.) The rooms are rather spacious, and the Hoppy Hour each day is a great way to enjoy a beer and get to know the owner. Additionally, the whole location is easily accessible by car and is very secure. (The parking lot is gated and the doors and secured by personalized codes.) All around a fantastic spot!

We stayed at the Painted Lady Bed & Brew in early October.  Our plans allowed only one night but wish we could have stayed longer!  Jesse, was awesome as was the property.  He has thought of so many details, it was amazing.  The room was huge, had everything we needed and then some!  The firepit was great and we met some fun folks.  But I have to admit, the best part was "Hoppy Hour."  We wondered why '5:05' but you'll have to go to hear the real reason!  The beer was excellent and it was a very creative use for a trolley car.  We have shared with everyone that we know that might venture that way to checkout the Painted Lady Bed & Brew as it is truly one-of -a-kind, in a good way!!!

Such a great experience! Being in the travel industry, I love checking out new types of accommodations. The Painted Lady did not disappoint! The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Great location as it is walking distance to Old Town and a short 5 minute drive to downtown. There was never a time during our stay where we said "oh if we only had...". Jesse was great with providing local information and had great suggestions. Definitely will stay at the Painted Lady if we're in Albuquerque. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I had the approx. 2 hour tour that started in the trolly brewery. It was very entertaining. With his amazing skill in renovation and historical decor it was very enjoyable. Jesse worked in a few respectful comments about the women used for this former brothel. I could have had more of that. I would love to see a sculpture or some sort of Art! on the property in honor of the women involved in most certainly a myriad of sad circumstances. The rooms looked very comfortable!

I know my review will be one of many singing Jesse's praises with everything he's done with The Painted Lady Bed and Brew. There's a lot of big picture positives about this place. Like a fun, spooky history, a central location to a lot of great things in Albuquerque and a private, gated parking lot. The real experience and what makes this place so great and without question a must-stay is Jesse himself. His attention to detail (popcorn in the room, coffee and teas [the good stuff too] a key FOB for the gate), and his knack for interior design. The room all at once feels fresh and comfortable while honoring and highlighting the property's past. This is something that elevates it past just a good place to stay and makes it the highlight of your trip to the area. Do not miss out on the Hoppy Hour Jesse provides because you get to sit in a really groovy trolley cart and chat with him about basically anything and everything. Jesse, if you're read this I'm writing this from Cloudcroft right now and you're totally right about how we couldn't miss it on our trip. Thank you for welcoming us into your space you clearly poured your heart, blood sweat and tears into. I hope more people get to experience all that The Painted Lady has to offer.

I can not say enough great things about the painted lady an it’s owner Jesse! The history of the property is so interesting and it is obvious that Jesse has put his heart and soul into bringing it back to life for all to enjoy. The rooms are decorated just right in my opinion with interesting artifacts from construction/renovations, framed and labeled. We stayed in the Charlie room and it was very spacious for the two of us and the bed was very comfy as well. The location of the painted lady is nicely centered off the main drag but close enough to walk to many attractions, shops and restaurants. While all of this was great, our favorite part was chatting with Jesse at hoppy hour each night on the trolley. It honestly felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone we know who will be in the area and we will definitely be making a trip back ourselves! Thanks so much Jesse!

My wife and I loved staying at The Painted Lady! The rooms were clean and uniquely decorated, and the attention to detail is impressive. Hoppy Hour in the trolley was fantastic. We enjoyed chatting with Jesse, and his help with recommendations for dining and beer sampling was appreciated. We would love to stay at The Painted Lady again!

If you like beer, history and good hospitality, this place is a must stay when in Albuquerque. As lovers of the above, we absolutely loved the vibe of this place. The suites were exceptionally clean and well decorated with attention to the historic details that make this place unique. With gated parking and private courtyard, the place felt homey and safe. It was also located in a great spot - very close to breweries, the BioPark and old town. The owner was serving up beers on the trolley during Hoppy Hour and it was so nice talking with him and learning about the history, renovation and passion that led him to open this amazing establishment! We won’t be staying anywhere else on future trips to Albuquerque, if we can help it! Cheers!

Great value, central location, and safe property. We enjoyed talking beer and learning about nearby breweries during Hoppy Hour with the owner Jesse, such a friendly and generous person! We bragged about this bed and brew to all our friends and will absolutely stay here again on our next visit!

I have nothing but good things to say about Painted Lady Bed & Brew- and nothing but happy memories of our stay there, and our time in Albuquerque. The whole place is intriguing- beautifully thought-through and so cool in the way it's laid out. The suites are super comfortable and relaxing- but the communal spaces (including the incredible Hoppy Hour tram car!) are what really make it Jesse: thank you for being the best possible host, and for being so patient with *all* of my Breaking Bad / BCS questions! I really hope to return one day, as I think I've fallen in love with New Mexico, and I gotta get back somehow! Thanks guys: please keep doing what you're doing- it's special #nicelife ;-) Toby & George

We loved out stay at the Painted Lady! Our room was spacious, well appointed, and really highlighted the history of the property. We enjoyed swapping beer stories with Jesse in the trolley car during Hoppy Hour. The Painted Lady Bed & Brew is clearly a labor of love and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the highlight of our visit to Albuquerque!

Our stay at the Painted Lady was perfect! I loved the unique decor in the rooms and throughout the grounds. The rooms were so clean and comfortable, and Jesse could not have been a more welcoming host. Absolutely love the idea of “hoppy hour” each evening and it was a great opportunity to chat with Jesse and the other guests. The trolley car was such a fun location for hoppy hour. And, everything is pet friendly! It was the perfect home base for our visit to Albuquerque. If I ever do return to the area (which I hope to), I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

My husband and I stayed at The Painted Lady Bed & Brew and loved it! We stayed in The Lizzie Suite – very cool room! It was immaculate and has a great kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, glasses – everything you need. Nice sized sitting area with tv, very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. The best part was how uniquely the room was decorated and all of the little details. We also loved the grounds outside --- it has different sitting areas that were also unique and fun. We went to the Hoppy Hour on the trolley -- which is a custom bar/lounge built inside an old trolley by Jesse, the owner of The Painted Lady. It is so cool!! We were blown away by how creative Jesse is. We had our free beer and a couple more (all local beers) and a delightful time talking to Jesse and his girlfriend, which enhanced the experience. Afterwards we explored the neighborhood and its many craft breweries and swanky neighborhood lounges (couldn’t pass up premium craft cocktails!). You truly are doing yourself a disservice if you do not experience the The Painted Lady and everything she has to offer when you visit Albuquerque. Due to time constraints we could only stay one night but we will be returning as soon as we can and bringing friends!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a staycation and were intrigued when we came across the Painted Lady Bed and Brew. We went in with high expectations, based on reviews and pictures and upon checking into my room, we were not let down. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Upon check-in we were greeted by the owner, Jesse. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the city. I liked that a majority of the correspondence was via text, but my favorite part was anytime our paths crossed throughout our stay, he greeted us by name and asked how things were going. Also, location was great! The Painted Lady is located within walking from nearly everything we wanted to do. Jesse was always quick with a recommendation and we were never let down. The property/parking was secured and we felt very safe during the entirety of our stay. I can only say positive things about my stay at the Painted Lady. Beautiful room and amazing hospitality all for an great price! I have already and will continue recommending the Painted Lady Bed and Brew to friends.

We loved, loved, loved our stay in the Lottie suite at the Painted Lady Bed & Brew! Jesse thought of every detail to make a stay at the Painted Lady perfect. The suite was beautiful and cozy and beyond our expectations. Jesse was such a wonderful host too. We enjoyed talking with him and learning about the area and the Painted Lady. We can't wait to go back and enjoy another stay! Thanks, Jesse!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Painted Lady. The suite was immaculate and plenty of room for my wife and I along with my folks. Plenty of nice touches, especially if you’re interested in exploring the beer scene in Albuquerque. Jesse is super friendly and knowledgeable to steer you in the right direction for breweries and/or restaurants. The courtyard is comfortable and bright. My wife really enjoyed the fire pit. We will definitely return.

The Painted Lady Bed & Brew is hands down the best venue! Jesse and his staff are super friendly and professional. They made our wedding day beyond special. Our guests loved the uniqueness of the trolley, the rooms, and all of the fun details added to the entire venue. Jesse is very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Would highly recommend to have your event at the Painted Lady Bed & Brew. Thank you once again, Jesse!

The Painted Lady Bed & Brew is a very beautiful accommodation furnished with great attention to detail. The completely renovated former Western Saloon and Brothel is a very unique accommodation. Old finds from the past can be discovered everywhere, it is very exciting to delve into the history of the place. Everything is very clean and host Jesse invites you every day for a drink in the cozy former tram car. If you are a Breaking Bad geek Jesse has a lot of background information about the show, which was filmed in ABQ. The location is very central in Albuquerque to explore the city. We would stay here again at any time.
