Stayed there several years ago. Was a nice place then. Now it's fallen on hard times. It's in pretty bad shape. The AC wasn't working in several units (thanks to the woman at the front desk who helped me find a room with better AC). It was quiet, but beyond that I wouldn't recommend. Beds were hard, bathroom was dingy. And it was a little on the pricey side. For that money I expected better.

Barcelona Suites tried to charge my credit card $950 without my consent several months after I originally used it there. Which seems somewhat fraudulent to me.... So when I went in to ask questions, not only was I not given an answer as to why they tried to charge my CC $950 without my consent, I was also told that they could not remove my credit card information from their system. The manager was very rude for whatever reason and seemed to not like the fact that I had concerns about their shady activity. Please beware of this business! With all that being said already... That hotel is in a bad area with lots of homeless walking around there, and the rooms are very much outdated and not kept up the way they should be!

Not sure what's really going on here, but it looks more like a homeless shelter than a hotel or apartment complex. A bunch of UFOs hanging around watching your every move. Mean front desk staff, and parking is a task. This place was nice once upon a time. Now it's trip for the worst. More review on this place coming soon

Awesome, so beautiful, wishing well fountain upstairs plants everywhere. Literally like a little Barcelona replica. Breakfast is amazing, literally make your eggs right in front of you not like regular hot breakfast where everything tastes processed, it like eating a plate you make yourself in the morning

the hotel / apartments are not well run, management allows rooms to be left in disrepair, there are always plenty of street people looming there, Police are on scene quit often, One door is kicked in from a police raid, it is still like that weeks later, rescue personnel are there often, they do not do a good screening of who the rent the apartment portion out to. and they do not maintain that area very well. Most amenities are broke or closed, underground parking is very dark and not maintained, cameras have been vandalized. If your are looking for a place to stay overnight or while in town , there are much better options. this place has gone thru a couple half baked remodels , but it is like putting fresh lipstick on a pig. and yes I said apartments and hotel !!!

This place is ok to visit but not to live in the rooms are small and if your going to be a permanent resident make sure management sets you up in a room with a kitchen when I moved in there was no living room furniture I had to work here and get my own furniture and move it in myself all the air conditioners leak this was a poorly designed building but the pills are great

Cool place to chill at..really fancy looking and the rooms were big. It was more like 2 rooms with a lil kitchen. I liked it and if I could afford it would stay their again.

Beautiful architecture, great service, the room was clean and the free breakfast was delicious. Pricing was fair and we weren't rushed out at checkout time. We will definitely stay again!

This place is sketchy as hell. I live in the neighborhood near here and there are literally people who stay here long term selling drugs out their room window. I have seen it myself several times. The owner allows bums and squatting from the most sketchy looking people on the property so there's always mass amounts of trash on the street. They have no outdoor security that takes care of those loitering. It's dangerous, it's disgusting and it's an eye sore. Don't try and stay here. Whoever owns and runs this place is just as pathetic as the property itself

Aug 27, 2023 Service horrible First off the lady with salt an pepper who worked at 8pm day of 08/26/2023. She was very rude . All I asked was for a tv. She said she couldn’t do nothing about it. She was just covering for somebody. I had to wait for another lady at 7am. There was no tv in my room. Just very terrible service . Would not Recommend going back

My favorite thing about this hotel is the smack I can buy from one of the east windows. I come here with my peeps all the time! After getting a good thrill I will either pass out by the dumpster at the Burger King or break into a car on Marble.

Horrible disgusting experience with this place. They are very dirty rooms that have broken lights, AC/Heater didn't work. The Management is very rude and unprofessional. This isn't based off a one-time stay either. I have unfortunately had to stay here several times due to it being the only available hotel during balloon fiestas and other events. Do not waste your money or time here.

Absolute dump inside and out. Not what it shows on line. The employee at the front desk said i would not make it to the room before i turn around and want to go elsewhere. She was right. I didnt pass the lobby. Unfortunately I booked with Travelocity a week in advance which was taken out of my account instantly. Full size company truck would not fit in the underground 6'8" parking. Definitely a half way house and crack house. Travelocity tried getting me a refund of almost 500 dollars I invested for the week as well as myself through the manager before check in and I was denied even after emailing photos of this rathole and the people who occupy it. Although I didn't get reimbursed I decided to call it a loss and find rooms for the week elsewhere. Piece of mind is worth the unfortunate loss of being reimbursed.

Pop corn texture ceilings are concerning, considering that it may have asbestos. Other than that, ok, I guess

Rooms are somewhat updated, but the rest of the place feels like it did in the 90's! Unfortunately due to the location it was a bit sketchy at night, the under ground parking area smelled of pee badly. Alot of homeless hanging around at night, and most guests we saw were locals. The atrium was very Beautiful though!

There's one big fat blond lady (I believe) that is very rude! She works at the front desk! Be weary because a couple of friend's of mines vehicles have been stolen from the underground parking here.

Doesn't look like the pictures, The staff is really friendly. The bathroom had leaks on floor and mold growing on walls. The carpet is really dirty and when first coming into the room it doesnt smell clean at all, The garage does smell like pee really bad too. I personally wouldn't stay here again.

Ok let me start out by saying that this review is impartial and as fair as i can be, the barcelona suites once was a beautiful place, and while they are trying to fix it up i think its going backwards, the plumbing is all clogged up, they have bed bugs in a lot of rooms, and the outside dumpster roaches are everywhere, the only thing that out numbers them are the rats, i counted like 7 holes in the base from rats, but the worst thing is some of the employees, theres a couple there bf and gf the girl steals credit card numbers and buys tools on line and he picks them up, they steal from rooms with his under door tool to get in rooms While your not there, the manager has stolen a scooter from a guy that died and sold it, and turned away his family saying he didnt have anything there, shes stolen valuable clothes and jerseys from a room of a guy she called the cops on, she calls people rude names, theres one on meth, and theres one on graveyard shift that mans the cameras so the maintenance can rob cars and steal tools,, all these are true facts,, beware if u go there,

Very nice Hotel located centrally here in Albuquerque. Staff is very pleasant and for the price, the rooms are best in town.

It's been many years since I've been inside the hotel back when it was built my brother and I installed some of the hot tubs working for our Union Hall Local 412 and a lot of the plumbing but with that being said I believe it has been weathered since I've been there

It took us about 45 minutes to check in not sure why the girl said she was new. We get to our room and notice we only have 3 towels and there are 5 of us including 3 kids. My 3 kids all changed for the pool (we picked this hotel being that it had a pool) to find out the pool was closed/ out of service. No where did it say on their website that the pool was closed. Real bummer as my kids were really expecting this after being on the road for hours. Room had ironing board with no iron. The water in the sinks take forever to drain so beware! Just over all not a good experience, super disappointed. Also it took another 45 mins or so to check out (we paid our deposit in cash so we had to check out to get It back) the gentleman said he was new as well. Staff had no guidance for being newly staffed and very unfriendly. I will say the breakfast was decent, however this stay was not worth $170ish a night. Take your money elsewhere especially if you have kiddos.
