I stayed here with a couple of friends for vacation, we were hoping to get a good nights rest after a long day of exploring the city, we booked into room 261 and shared beds, we suddenly started hearing very loud arguing from the room next door at around 8pm, we tried to fall asleep but the arguing didn’t seem to stop. We tried calling room service but they didn’t do much about it. We then tried to knock on room 262, which is where the arguing was coming from, and noticed a foul odor coming from the door, and what seemed like some sticky substance near the doorknob. When the neighbor opened the door it was an elderly lady who was coughing a lot, we tried to nicely ask for them to keep the noice down but a girl with curly hair rudely told us to go way and kept arguing. The apartment seemed very unkept and was extremely messy, there was what seemed like mold on the ceiling and walls and food scattered throughout the floor and furniture, it seemed very unkept and smelled of cigarettes, We decided to not escalate the situation and leave to our room. The arguing continued for the rest of the night, and didn’t stop. We don’t recommend this location, if you’d like to find a better location that is calm and sanitized and safe with good customer service, I recommend going to one of the other many hotels near by.

This motel is overall normal, good pricing, average. It was convenient because me and my daughter are on a road trip from Phoenix to Miami and we needed a place to stay. The room was nicely cleaned, kept tidy, bathroom was average. However, next door to my room were two obese women, And I could hear yelling and arguing coming from their room. I went to their room and knocked on the door, asking if everything was okay. When a woman opened the door I instantly got hit with a absolutely terrible odor, and there was a dog in their room. When I asked if everything was okay she started arguing with me saying "You are ruining my livestream!" She then threw what appeared to be a silicone rose at my face that smelt like fish. We ended up leaving early due to this. Do better motel 6, do better.

After spending hours driving in the car from California with my pookie Asian bf, we chose to spend three nights in Albuquerque because the hotel looked great, had a mall nearby, and was close to many other locations. We chose to stay here since it was strangely inexpensive. We were given a room on the second floor, but as soon as we arrived, a terrible mountain dew-like odor started coming from the vents. We observed roaches emerging from under the bed. We had to complain since I felt nauseous, and the receptionist decided to offer us a different room instead, but it wouldn't be available until the next day. We had no sleep at all because the people next door were screaming and saying slurs. After only three hours of sleep the night before, the next morning, my bf and I were heading up to the front desk when we felt an earthquake and spotted a large woman carrying a 24-pack of Mountain Dew heading to her room. She glanced at my bf flirtatiously and began smirking at him in an effort to impress him. I had assumed that she was the one next door who had been shouting the other night. As we were getting the key, she kept glancing over at my bf. We were relieved to get a new room! The next room was a little farther away than the first one, but I was so glad to find that it didn't smell gross! My bf was already uneasy about the huge lady trying to attract his attention, so I assumed we were safe. Later that day, my bf told me something that had caused him much discomfort. I told him to ask the front desk for extra towels and other items, but as he was returning, the large lady approached him, was being touchy and tried to take him into her room. "Want to see my rose toy?" she asked also asking for his phone number. We had to leave, he said as he quickly returned to the room. I didn't want to and didn't truly trust him; I wanted to stay and explore this city's areas. He was worried that she would come after him again so we stayed in for the rest of the day. Because of the peacefulness, we really got some rest. We heard knocking at six in the morning, and when I peeped through, I saw the large woman again standing there and asking to speak to my bf; it was unsettling how she knew the location of our room. I left the room and asked her why she was stalking us and what she wanted. The huge lady became enraged, she began harassing me and calling me every slur she could think of because I wouldn't allow her talk to my bf. I went to the front desk to complain about this lady because I was already getting tired of it. It turns out she is 29 year old Tophia Slydell. She is a TikToker staying at this hotel. She has an Asian men fetish. She was also bothering other hotel guests. We left the hotel right away and got our plane tickets to our destination. The hotel's service was satisfactory, however, this type of environment was unacceptable.

Absolutely terrible and I like to explain why. (Mind you I am a Asian and I am a minor) Me and my family went into this motel I was getting ready to go into my room. And then I smell something absolutely horrendous from the room beside me? I was absolutely disgusted. And NOT JUST THAT later on when I was leaving my room to go and eat with my family. There’s this huge atrocious looking creature with curly messy hedgehog hair I think is named “Tophia” if I’m right. Her breath REEKED with Mountain Dew and she smelled absolutely horrible and she was holding one those rose toy things in her hand. She started chasing me and my family and started harassing us constantly. Including her brother I assume since they both looks the same. He told my family that he would slaughter us if we didn’t give them money. And that’s when their mother named “Mary” if I’m correct came along and started calling me the r slur and made a lot of racist remarks of my family. It got so bad to the point me AND my family left quickly at night to avoid trouble. I RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE!!

When me and my family were going on a car trip from Chicago to California, we stopped here to sleep for the rest of the day. But we can not sleep without hearing some banging on the walls and smelling a really stinky odor from one of the rooms. My son was looking in the window and told me it was some really big woman that looked horrendous. We quickly left after a hour of staying in the hotel and we are never going back here again!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place

I liked the cable channels. That's it. The people at the front desk were rude. The room was not cleaned very well, there was dust and dirt underneath the bed. Rings around the toilet. The blankets/sheets smelled. The parking lot had many pot holes. And there were different groups of people hanging out in the lot. And I didn't know if the were patrons or not, but it was an unsavory group to say the least. Overall I give a thumbs down. I'd never stay here again. And the beds felt like cardboard!! Horrible!

this experience was so upsetting! Got my vacation ruined by this girl I think they call her Tophia?? I was staying in a room right across hers. She was very loud and yelling to her mom? I think about gettin her a rotisserie chicken all for herself 😱. But as I got closer to hear what all the yelling was about, I could smell the AWFUL stench of onions, fish and feces. The person whom I was staying with say she saw a humongous ogre woman come out the room and saw tons of Mountain Dew cans all over the floor. I was in disbelief I couldn’t believe that all the reviews were true!! pls take care of this!!!

Refer to photos to tell the story of how this place really is... I didn't feel safe here. Several problems with the room. Front desk staff was kind enough but did not seem to know what they were doing. Do not stay here! There were bags of trash left out in front of the rooms. No ice machine. Towel rack and shower curtain not secure, posing additional risks. Security latch broken, like the door had been kicked in. All kinds of noise and activity going on all night. Undesirable people hanging around who were not residents of the hotel. The building looked like it was ready to fall down at anytime..

Oh my gosh. Let me tell you about my experience staying at this place for a couple of nights, hoping to have a great time. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the horrifying sight of roaches crawling out of one of the rooms. It was absolutely repulsive. As if that wasn't bad enough, things only got worse as the night progressed. At around 3am, I was startled awake by the sound of a door slamming and heavy stomping. To my utter disbelief, a woman, who appeared to be in her 40s, began banging on my door demanding Burger King. It was a bizarre and unsettling encounter. Reluctantly, I opened the door, only to be greeted by a sight that made my stomach turn. This woman had frizzy, curly hair, wrinkled skin, and a shirt covered in stains. But that wasn't the worst part. As she stood there, another woman's voice called out, shouting "Tophia, come back now!" Meanwhile, this woman started digging her nose and, horrifyingly, pulled out a Mountain Dew from her undergarments that emitted a putrid smell. By the next day, I knew I had to leave this place, but circumstances forced me to stay for one more night. The morning brought yet another encounter with the same repulsive woman from the previous day. She walked out the door wearing the same filthy clothes and, to my absolute disgust, she was barefoot. Her toenails were disgustingly long and yellow, infected with fungus that made me want to vomit. To make matters worse, I overheard someone using a highly offensive slur. It was deeply offensive and left me feeling utterly disgusted. Trying my best to ignore the unpleasantness, I retreated back to my room. However, my sleep was interrupted once again in the middle of the night. This time, it was the piercing sound of a dog barking and someone screaming. Concerned, I felt compelled to investigate. I got out of bed and ventured out of my room, following the noise. It led me to room 262, or at least I think that's the number. I knocked on the door, and to my horror, the same woman I had encountered earlier in the morning and the previous night stood there, staring back at me. And to make matters worse, there was a roach crawling on the wall right next to her, while she continued to pick her nose. I cannot stress enough how utterly disgusted I was by this experience. The woman in question, whom I believe goes by the name Tophia, needs to be reported. This behavior is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

Staff was nice, but jeez, one of the sketchiest places I've stayed at in a long time. At least they have security there at night but our room had a bullet hole in the door. Tv didn't work. Bathroom was pretty dirty. Unfortunately it was the only place that I could get at such short notice that night.

I went here before for a vacation. I had my family with me, and we rented a hotel room next to a weird lady named Tophia, she would always come outside and throw a trash bag full of Mountain Dew cans outside of her motel room. I would always see roaches outside her hotel room, and I would always sniff this awful smell coming outside her hotel room it’s really bad like her hygiene. I would always hear her yelling next door for some reason. Everyday I see her wearing The same clothes. Our vacation was ruined because of her. I would not recommend coming here ever again.

The worst! Paid for & told we'd have downstairs. Given upstairs,.Alejandro said his mistake. He refunded money, but we needed place. He finally said, had 2 rooms with 2 beds, we could have 1 room, TV had to be fixed by his help. They'd do tomorrow. So, we got it. TV, didn't work ,no telephone, fan open in bathroom, no hangers. So we moved in, late in night. We decided we'd just go to sleep anyway.. He said we could move Saturday but had to call next day. He'd give up an adjustment on bill. Called next day, maybe have room maybe not. They said fix TV. Went back, room iffy. Finally had room but friend felt so bad couldn't move things. They said they'd adjust bill. Nope they didn't, they offered free room for night we had to leave. We have to work on Monday. Couldn't stay. Loading up at 6:00am, upstairs fighting, thought we'd be shot. All night fighing above us, their security did nothing. Furniture was being thrown around, screaming. Just horrible. Not staying there ever again.

I wasn't expecting The Ritz but I was expecting better than I got. The room was tidy but the smell of smoke was nauseating. Thankfully the bedding was fairly new and clean. The floor was absolutely disgusting. I wasn't sure if it was dried boogers or something else but it was evident that they need to learn how to actually clean / mop and disinfect. The light didn't work and the shade had layers of grime. Although it was quiet when we arrived, that quickly changed as the evening turned to night when horns began honking and lights flashing outside the room, undesirables knocking on the door, music blaring from 2-4am and apparently the office isn't manned because they didn't answer our calls.

The woman next door was absolutely disgusting! I opened the door to tell her to quiet down as it was 2 in the morning and I was trying to sleep and I was instantly hit with a very strong odor of fish. It was the worst thing that I’ve ever had the displeasure of smelling. There were roaches all over the floor too. In the apartment was a whale, her mother, her brother, and a little dog that bit me. I was horrified and nearly threw up on the floor right there from the nauseating smell and scene, then the whale woman got up from her moldy seat (she appeared to be filming a TikTok live) and got in my face. “YOU RUINED MY LIVESTREAM!” She screamed at the top of her lungs directly in my face, her disgusting breath assaulting my nose. “I-I…” I didn’t know what to say. I was so disgusted. “GO AWAY!” She said before swinging her head around so violently that some of the roaches in her hair were ejected and flew directly into me and slamming the door so hard that I was pushed back by at least 2 feet. I was so traumatized that I had to be involuntarily committed to an asylum that night and stay there for the rest of the week just so I could speak again and I’m having daily therapy sessions to help me cope. Absolutely horrific!

A friend stayed here for a week. The stairs were a nice wood but hard to walk up and down. The railing is detaching from the upstairs walkway, making it unsafe to hold onto and there were tons of unkempt people in the motel and the neighborhood.

I give 4/5 because they young man at front desk was my hero last night! Driving 2000 miles across our country to California when I hit Albuquerque I was exhausted (day 3 of all day driving) i wanted nothing more than a bite to eat and to stretch out. The hotels on east side of Albuquerque were absolutely ridiculous! They wanted to charge me 80-90 dollars for room $30-50 for my CAT (non refundable) and they all wanted a sick deposit like $100-150 which I had to pay to check in but was informed it would take 4-5 business days to go back on my card!😳umm how is that fair? So this young man saw that I was at wits end and even though I was angry and irritated and ready to cry he got us into a room quickly with very little issues. He didn’t charge me a pet fee or some ridiculous deposit it was $50 that he waved as we obviously weren’t here to destroy anything! Also I was told by locals that the hotels on east side were….. not nice areas and I was liable to loose everything out of my vehicles and this motel 6 has security and they are on the intimidating side lol so felt apt safer. Room was clean no fridge or microwave but wasn’t really needed anyway. Beds were fine no bugs or rodents of any kind were seen but some of the neighbors were touch rowdy. All in all it was the rescue I needed from a day that had my head aching and my butt ready for a nap.

Lowest rate among several Motel 6s in Albuquerque. Got what I paid for. My room was sufficient for my needs, a one night stay. Fresh looking paint, but they hadn't kept up with minor damages.

I want to 1st apologize for a review I wrote a few months back. I was angry and said alot of stuff that wasn't true. The manager and staff when I was there was awesome. Sunny, Pauline, and Daniel were amazing people to work with. I was there for 7 months or so and the owner was always trying to better the place for the guests. If I get a room anywhere it'll be there.

The room is falling apart. The door was hard to open from the inside and the lock bar was messed up. The bathroom has black mold and the trim is all tore up. The mattress was gross and had huge burn holes in the protector and mattress. We paid $91 at a motel 6, which it should have been $50. We stay at motel 6 and this one was by far the worst.

My room was exceptionally clean! The staff was so nice friendly and kind. I had no issues getting clean towels or any other accessories I needed. The location isn't in the Heart of the City so you didn't hear a lot of the noise. Again the front desk help was amazing! They made my stay in New Mexico exceptional!

We had a pleasant stay for a good value! Parking was convenient and the area felt safe. Restaurants and businesses are easily accessible and in short driving distance, and the hotel offers amenities like free breakfast and an ice machine in the lobby.

Stayed here for almost a week. The place has It's share of rowdy guests but there's a comforting limit to that since the there a police department on the same block with a decent BBQ place nearby where all the cops congregate. This aint the place for a day in the life but it's a great place to stay if you need something inexpensive. I haven't seen any roaches or bed bugs. It quiets down around midnight on average but it's really not that loud. Decent place to stay if you're passing through or getting settled into town.

Moved to the Carlisle location after disaster at Coors location mid Oct. Check in folx were a delightful family. Worked with us on room needs. Nice room. Not totally redone but very suitable. All the staff were helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. Washing machine needs some help. Told that is a vendor. Wish had landed here earlier.

Zero stars all around! We had a room here to stay throughout the balloon festival. I will say the front desk lady was very sweet, sadly though this was the one and only enjoyable aspect of this stay. As we got to the room there must've been a leak or something that caused a cave in right next to our room, not only was it unsightly, but it dripped very loudly throughout our entire stay. When we got into our room, the floors had not been swept or mopped and were absolutely filthy. There was a distinct urine smell in the bathroom. In our booking we stated the room was for 3 adults, but had only enough towels for 2, and no remote control to operate the television. We called down to have a remote control brought, and asked at that time to have the room swept mopped and more towels. Then we began seeing bugs crawling on the walls and floors. They were roaches. The more we looked, the more we found. We had to move one of the beds over a bit to fit a walker in between the beds and there was so much filth underneath, including a shrimp tail. Just yuck. We had no other option for lodging as the balloon festival books out so far in advance. What makes it worse is due to the event, the price for this awful stay!!! Price gouging for lodging. Very displeased. Hope this helps someone else avoid the awful experience we had as we couldn't even finish our stay and left 1 day early.

Right up front, please understand that this Albuquerque stay was part of a 13K mile trip, and along the way we have stayed at many Hotel 6’s across many states (we travel with our dog). We know what a typical Hotel 6 provides. I reserved 2 rooms a couple of months ago to take my parents to the Balloon Fiesta. My parents needed a first floor room, and because I had requested a room near their’s, this is the room we received. Again, a picture is worth a thousand words. There was an actively leaking water pipe just outside our room. The fallen ceiling tile and water was making a mess outside of our room, making it impossible to enter without tracking water and debris inside. Because I needed to be near my parent’s room, we put out a few towels and “sucked it up”. When my parents arrived late that evening their room was infested with cockroaches. When told, staff provided me with roach spray (they offered to go spray it themselves), but the room was simply not inhabitable, so my parents were moved to a different room. I believe that the staff compensated them for their experience. So, thanks to the staff for trying. However, Hotel 6 should have SOME minimum standard. If so, and if spraying water leaks and active roach infestations are below that standard, I am not willing to explore how low it might be, regardless of the pet policy.

I don’t know how you can rate this any more than 1 star. Maybe some of the other rooms are better but for my room (118) it had a weird smell to it. It gave me a slight headache, nothing terrible but enough to make me wonder what is up with the smell. As soon as I stepped in I had to think of it would be better to sleep in my car but obviously I don’t wanna waste my money. The smell in the room is also on the pillows and sheets so that wasn’t good and most of the lights didn’t work besides the bathroom and one of the sides of the bed. The other flickered and one just didn’t turn on. I didn’t feel safe because the door didn’t feel like it would be closed all the way and I had to make sure twice during the night that it was closed because it just didn’t feel safe. The room was on the lower level and maybe I just had the bad luck of being under someone who wanted to be the loudest person imaginable, but in that room you can hear everything that everyone is doing (except for talking thankfully) I heard the constant steps walking back and fourth, I heard things being moved around, water running, etc. So having bad smell, loud noises all night, and not feeling safe doesn’t make a good combination. Honestly, I could probably get past all of this if the rooms actually looked like what they did in the pictures. I thought I was getting a nice room that would meet my needs for my stay, but I got an empty room with barely the minimum of what a hotel should provide its guests. I paid $100 a night (which was a higher rate due to the Balloon Fiesta which isn’t an isssue) and I checked what the normal rates are for regular days which is about $55 a night. I mean, for $55 a night you can’t complain about that, but for certain tourist attraction dates, it would’ve been nice if the hotel took more care into the rooms for the higher rates. I wish I took pictures for the review so people know what they’re really getting but unfortunately I didn’t. Anyways, long story short, it’s a bad place to stay. Pay and extra $20-$30 for a better hotel and you’ll be okay.

We stayed here a few years ago. The room was dirty (as usual for most Motel 6) but the most terrible thing were all the gang activities happening on the parking lot. One shirtless guy driving around the compound on a chopper all night long, lots of crackheads doing suspicious things on the parking lot, and a lot more. The night wasn't quite as you could hear screaming all the time. Next day we found out that there was a guy stabbed to death on the parking lot a few weeks prior. You can also watch this specific Motel 6 on Youtube, from the perspective of the officers firing their AR-15's at the motel to kill an active shooter. Don't stay here!...DON'T STAY HERE!

I was here with my mom a month ago because we were here to visit some family and then I heard this lady. I think her name was tophia start ranting to her followers on live. When she got up I thought there was an earthquake because I think this lady is shrek or something. Then she came up to my doorstep and demanded a rotisserie chicken and mountain dew. I saw pit stains on her shirt and she smelled like onions and moldy cheese. The smell was so horrendous it killed my grandma. RIP Grammy. 0/10 will never come here

A warm room and a comfy bed to sleep on so I was happy. Only thing was, tv didn't have any reception and the outlet next to the phone didn't work. That said it wasn't the end of the world. Great location (literally just off the i40)

Checked into a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke. Switched to another non-smoking room… better, but still had a faint smoke odor. Door was damaged from what appeared to be a past attempted break-in. Locks were loose and held in place by stripped screws. Deadbolt could not be closed due to misalignment. Shower curtain rod attachment loose and could separate from wall. Otherwise the room looked like a typical Motel-6 and most things worked as expected… bed was comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. But overall, property is a bit run down and security is questionable.

Room is supposed to be non smoking but you see lots of cigarette burn marks everywhere. Lights not working, faucets loose. Lack of tables and chairs. Other than those, everything else is great, particularly the location. It’s right next to Rudy’s Texas BBQ, and most everything is close by.

We booked 2 rooms on a recent family vacation. One room had dead roaches, goat heads in the bed and a heavy drug aroma. The other room smelled of cat urine and cigarettes. The towel rod was broken and just on the counter. When we tried to leave one of the doors malfunctioned and would not open. When we informed the very rude front desk attendant,, she responded "thank you'. Worst hotel experience, I will never stay at another motel 6

The location of this motel 6 is in a perfect area. The rooms are clean . They do have room service . House cleaning maids that come in your room ( with you in the room or they will drop off towels on your bed of your not in the room ) . They have rooms with an microwave And mini refrigerator . Cool motel to stay at over night or even a few nights if your coming out to visit the city of Albuquerque 🏙️🌆
