If you have any concerns about safety or class this is not the place. The reservationist are very welcoming and I really appreciate Alexis. But unfortunately the pictures and the experience is nothing like they say online. When you actually get there you’re ignored at the counter and dismissed almost like you’re bothering them. The other tenants are intimidating and shady looking. This was supposed to be my big move until I find an apartment and it was a terrible experience. The staff and the tenants coming in and out of the lobby are very rough looking and rough acting. Being a single woman and scared for my life I canceled my reservation because this is not a place for a single woman to stay. Please beware. I’m hoping to get my $105 back but if I don’t that will be OK because I think I just saved my life by not moving in there. Please be aware. Unless you can deal with the lowlifes of New Mexico do not move here. It is nothing like it says online and the staff is very disrespectful but I do appreciate the manager for calling me back.

This place is a joke ! I reserved for a weekly stay, and let me day I will NEVER ever stay there again. Even Motel 6 is a way better place, ugh. So the first night I stayed I found cockroaches all over the room, I woke up in the middle of the night to one crawling on me- then I found bedbugs all over the mattress and on the bathroom floor.. I couldn't sleep there another night. So I packed up all my things, had to disinfect everything because I know how bed bugs travel. I've been in the hotel industry for years (I'm actually a housekeeping manager) and the room was so bad. Dust everywhere, refrigerator wasn't cleaned out at all and the toilet still had urine all over the top lid and the make things worse the bathtub faucet was leaking horribly. Roaches all over the tub and the water didn't get hot at all. Again, the worst place in Albuquerque I've ever stayed in my entire life. Stay away if you value your stuff. Another thing, they wouldn't give me back my refund because I didn't stay more then 30 days! Front desk staff is a joke, I recall checking in and them telling me they stay there too. Just bad !

This hotel was not a bad stay overall. Bed was decently comfortable, the room was clean and the shower worked! No signs of bugs during my stay. The ladies at the front desk and housekeeping staff were helpful with requests of mine or my uncle's during the day. Being that they were not there after 7 any day that I stayed there, I primarily interacted with the staff in security, Jared. Due to a late arrival he checked me in and, my uncle the following night, reactivated my key card daily, as the strip demagnetized each day and I didn't get in to the hotel until after the office was closed. Jared did an amazing job! He was kind and very personable. He went out of his way to help me out and made me feel confident that I was safe. This was much appreciated! Thanks Jared!

Place deserves ZERO stars….. This place is infested with roaches . Employees at front desk does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Manager says there is nothing they can do about the roaches . All they want to do is spray water that doesn’t help anything. Hot water doesn’t work , room was not clean, smelled like cigarettes in a NON SMOKING ROOM. It is displayed that you will get a free night in which I DID NOT . I have not received my deposit back and they claim that the deposit will not be sent back the day of my check out. This place is a rip off and not worth it. ps. The ENTIRE staff inhabits this Siegel Select so be aware MANAGER INCLUDED

Room was clean and comfortable as I stayed 3 months in town for work, but management is ridiculous. Was charged $60 for an extra door key when my wife got into town (supposed to be refundable) . After checking out it took 5 weeks to get my $50 room deposit and they didn't refund the $60 for the key card! Make sure you pay with cash if you stay there so they have to give you your cash deposit back at check out. Other that that not a bad place to stay for the area!

Stayed here for one week when I arrived from Florida. Prior to moving from Florida I called and spoke to Mohammad (think that was his name) who identified himself as manager. I specifically asked how much one week would cost with all fees and such. He gave me a lower number than what they charged me when I arrived. I had planned on moving there for a few weeks but because he gave me misleading info, o didn’t budget right. They gave me key cards to enter room but both didn’t work. I had to go back to office and they gave me updated ones, but they didn’t work. The clerk claimed I was doing something wrong. Third time it worked. The room was great-comfortable and all but it smells like stall tobacco. The customer service is terrible. Overall, I can’t really recommend this place.

Where do I start with this company. They are over priced and they offer a rewards program which could be great for their occupants, but are impossible to achieve also the rules they inforce I understand that they have some circumstances and conditions but to tell occupants that they are not allowed to have any visitors over unless they registered , they are my guests not a occupant ,even though we tried to register my guests they won't expect the form of identification which puts occupants in violation. Be careful what you do that this place you could be in violation for anything. Violations come with a fee. Occupants are not treated with common courtesy I don't understand why there are video surveillance cameras or security on duty if it doesn't benefit or ensure the safety of the hotel guest's. I DON'T RECOMMEND staying here.

One of the worst places I've stayed at ever. Roaches are no matter how many times they spray roches are ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE!! After making a call to corporate they sprayed with a pretty ineffective spray- which means staff will do absolutely nothing. If it is a necessity to stay here keep the restroom light on, to prevent big roaches from coming out and bring soap, pots/pans, plates, cutlery, a bed set, and water. Only have drinks you can close and do not leave food out. For good measure we put our toothbrushes and toothpaste in the fridge since that was the only place the roaches wouldn't go. They do not clean the rooms and there was an odd metalic odor that we could not get used to, all for $300.

Pretty much only getting two stars because the building is solid it doesn't leak wind or rain. The staff tries as hard as they can but they are pretty much going into a fight with their hands tied behind their backs. Most the guests are using. For a non-smoking campus there is a lot of smoking going on all night. It's hard to sleep through all the coughing and screaming and kids running up and down the halls. The police running through on a regular basis is it bad though I guess I feel somewhat safer.

This is my second time coming to this Siegel Select, and I have to say this is the best one yet. The staff are great and helpful. The rooms that I have lived in have been cleaned real good. The whole setup is great. I would and have already recommended the Albuquerque off University to others. Thank you, guys, for all you do.

I wouldn't recommend this place. it is nice, clean and comfortable but the lobby manager is very rude she seemed nice at first then came Wednesday and she came barging into my room scaring the hell out of me with a security guard screaming at me telling me she wanted the rent I told her I'll take it to the office when I cash my check at 5pm and she yelled no it's due Wednesdays at 12 noon no later so get whatever you need and get OUT NOW!!!! I told her to let me get dressed and no she just stood there changing the locks. And as I was walking out of the room I had a seizure and fell hurting myself and she didn't Care.

I was in a bind and needed a place to stay immediately. Michelle and her staff were very hospitable from the moment I called to inquire. All you need to do to stay here is have verified income and a decent background check. The apartments are furnished so that's one less thing you have to worry about. There are a lot of families that stay here so I felt safe. And the staff always greeted me warmly and by name when they would see me. I was grateful to be recommended The Siegel and I would recommend it to others who are new in town.

This place is horrible it's roach infested. The maintenance won't fix anything. My truck was stolen and I was told that the cameras don't work that is why I can't get video footage. Save yourself the trouble and don't come to this location. Wish I could leave negative stars. I had left a review a while back but my better half talked me into taking it down because Juan called her and questioned her about the no video footage when they did send footage a less then one min video of me taking the truck to get the battery tested. But that's all the video footage they have. My truck had NO BATTERY. So I guess that means it was lifted out of the parking lot but aliens. Lol.Its just crazy.

I would leave negative stars if possible, but this is absolutely the worst place you could stay even under extreme needs. Roach infested, and disgusting. Management most likely has interpersonal relationships with security, and who I'm sure is lead maintenance is extremely rude about everything and unwilling to help, or just ignore you. Cars are stolen and no one can do anything because the "cameras aren't operational" or "servers are down". I'm also almost certain that any positive reviews are from Tennants who are also employees on site, but I digress. I do hope issues here get resolved as I have paid quite a bit of money to stay here during my vacation, and see no reason why these issues can't be resolved for the prices they charge.

👍 I figured after reading all the reviews and having lived here for 3 years, I'd give my personal experience throughout my time here. 😠 My apartment is renovated and the neighborhood is quiet, so that's nice. But I don't understand how management gets away with literal false advertising.
