This was an excellent choice! My family, my mom and dad and my mother in law all stayed in one house. The house was very nice, clean and warm. Steve and Kara were amazing and breakfast was wonderful! We all enjoyed the hot tub, the stars and the short walk to several amazing restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here as a couple, by yourself or with family, it is located in downtown Albuquerque but feels like your out of the city, it is truly a gem. My family will definitely be staying here again.

This past week I had the wonderful experience of staying in the Historic B&B's Heritage House! I stayed in the Rose Room which is a beautifully appointed and elegantly decorated gold and red bedroom with an adjacent sitting room. The bed was super comfy and I greatly appreciated the fact that each bedroom is individually climate controlled. Each of the four breakfasts I enjoyed were bountiful and delicious. I feasted on fresh fruit, amazing organic egg dishes, crisp bacon and sumptuous pancakes. But best of all, I loved the warm reception and attention I received from the Grant family! I look forward to returning to Albuquerque and this charming exceptionally well run B&B!

We really enjoyed staying at the Downtown Historic Bed & Breakfast of Albuquerque, NM! WE were getting away for a quick and I mean quick mini get-a-way. WE only were able to spend 1 night. The room was the Gold Room, it was lovely and so comfy. We have stayed in almost every room at this B & B and have never been disappointed! Breakfast was yummy as usual and the owners are always so accommodating to us that we always feel right at home! The family that owns the B & B are such a lovely family. If you are planning a trip to Albuquerque, I suggest you choose to stay here because you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I stayed at the Downtown Historic Bed and Breakfast on our wedding night. The three properties are beautiful and very unique early twentieth century homes. Everything in our room and in the property in general was clean and orderly, very comfortable and sweet. We especially enjoyed Steve, our kind and smiling host. He took time to visit with us personally over breakfast while he gave us a second helping of his delicious homemade green chile quiche! It is clear the owners take pride in their properties and the service they provide. They really aim to bless their guests, and they delivered! You do not want to miss out on the Downtown Historic B & B during your next stay in Albuquerque!

Wonderful stay. Kara was so kind & very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. Abby even saved a plate for my husband, who arrived late. Tawny & Abby were so gracious and such a delight to visit with during our meal. The room was quite charming, very clean and the bed was so comfy. I loved it so much, I made a reservation for next month for a week when we return.

I booked this bed and breakfast for my fiancee and myself for his birthday trip. We had planned a trip to Albuquerque and while we were looking for a place to stay, I mentioned I'd always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast since I was a child. He agreed and the reservation was booked. This b&b did not disappoint! The minute we got to our room we began exploring. Our favorite part was probably the back patio with a ready-to-use outdoor fireplace with beautiful lighting fixtures. The history attached to our house and our room was very intriguing and it really fit with the essence of the house. The front and back yards were beautifully and ornately decorated. The back patios were equipped with wedding reservations if necessary, we later found out. My fiancee and myself will definitely be returning to this bed and breakfast soon! Hopefully with wedding plans and guests handy!

Everything about the stay was spectacular. The house has lots of cool history and character. The place was spotless, the beds big and comfortable and the linens and towels all first class. We loved the homemade hot cooked breakfast. Kara was so kind and devoted to making sure the experience was positive. Since we were in the Spy House, everything in it had a Spy theme even down to the little stickers on the toilet paper! We also enjoyed the homemade lotions and creams. We brought back some of the homemade pancake mix and syrup that she was selling, and cant wait to give it a try. If you are ever in Albuquerque, don't pass this place up! Its walking distance to several close by places to eat, and a 10 minute ride to the airport.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this B&B. The Ivy room was wonderful, food was great, Kara was lovely and her staff was as well. Downtown can be a tough area but her houses were like their own little oasis. She makes her own soaps and hair care which I actually bought because I liked it better than my Paul Mitchell hair care and Mary Kay wash. We will stay here again when we make our way back to Albuquerque!

This was our first time travelling to New Mexico, and my wife and I were looking for non-hotel experience that would also accommodate our seven-year-old daughter. We stayed for five days in the Ivy Room and enjoyed our stay immensely. Steve and the staff were great, the breakfasts were fantastic, and the room was extremely clean. We also loved the location -- very close to everything -- but very quiet. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to New Mexico. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place! This is the first time we have ever stayed at a B&B and Steve and Kara are truly amazing people! The service and experience is beyond amazing. There is so much history and we loved the SPY House! We stayed with our four kids ages 7 months, 5, 8, and 11 and they loved it also. There is a open area with grass where the kids played and your a mile from everything! We drove a total of five miles and went to the aquarium, zoo, and old town. The rooms were meticulously clean and the food was also unbelievable. We will be coming back just so we can stay here again! Truly exceptional people who sincerely care about their guest! They love our nations veterans and we can't wait to come back!
