My husband and I stayed here while traveling from CA to TX. This is a nice little hotel in the middle of downtown. It has plenty of security where you need your key card to get through various entrances, parking, elevator, fitness room, etc. However, they charge for parking, charge around $10 for the continental style breakfast (for a literal bowl of cereal). This was the most expensive hotel from the trip with the least amount of amenities provided. It is surrounded by a large homeless population in which there was a mugging directly in front of the hotel where everyone could see. They didn't have the room cleaned when we received our digital keys, so we walked into a messy and used room. We also checked in with the digital key at 3pm, so they had approved the room for entrance while it had not been cleaned from the prior guests. We had planned to stay here on the way back. However, we canceled the reservation and won't even stop in Albuquerque on the way back. I would not recommend this hotel.

On the plus side, nice rooms and common space and convenient location. However, feels like a fortress due to apparently being in a very high crime area. Parking is comical - not enough plus no instructions with broken gates. Front desk staff either friendly and clueless or nasty and clueless. HHonors membership has little value here.

I am so sick and tired of hotels eliminating the daily room service to clean and make up your room. They say your rooms are sanitized however this is the third hotel in the last month I have been to where there were other people‘s hair in the shower and in the sink things all over the carpet food on the countertop and in the refrigerator. Yet these hotels Are raising the prices to stay and eliminating cleaning the rooms this is completely unacceptable you need to get back to cleaning the rooms every day use a vacuum cleaner wipe down the surfaces clean the toilets and showers as well as bring fresh towels soap and coffee to the rooms

My family and I were just passing through and we did not have much time to enjoy but I can tell you this hotel left a very good impression. First and foremost, the staff was amazing and Bernadette, in particular, should be commended for her outstanding customer service. The rooms were impecable and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was lovely and parking was easy peasy. This is a nice little gem in downtown Albuquerque! Thank you!

It is a very lovely hotel with very nice staff. The room itself was big and comfortable. My only complaint would be there was absolutely no breakfast available (should have been a dry breakfast, at lease). The price of the hotel room should have included a breakfast.

checked in for one night. Check in was smooth and easy. Once the shift changed things got crazy and very unprofessional the front desk agent was a bit rude , she was eating chicken wings right at the counter and she had her kid hanging out at the counter as well. The lady that runs the morning breakfast wouldn’t let us in for some reason the key card didnt work at the cafe area. She saw us struggling she finally comes to the door stands in between the door asking us a million questions what’s your room number and the list goes on. We clearly had both key cards and our bags because we were heading to the lobby for check out. Customer services definitely needs improvement, training classes or something.

Overall very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking is room key access only so that was nice and secure. I will say there are homeless people here and there nearby so if something like that bothers you maybe steer clear, but we didn’t have any issues. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast in my opinion is not worth it. $17 for a very basic continental breakfast buffet. I would suggest dining out for breakfast. I would stay here again. Very close to shopping, zoo, aquarium, top golf, etc.

Room was not fully cleaned, used soap and towels in bathroom. Very limited parking space. No breakfast or anything, as Diamond member can get a $10 meal credit but you can not get breakfast or an evening drink for $10. They will not allow you to carry over the credit if you don't spend it every night. Embassy Suites is older but larger rooms evening social with drinks and snacks and includes made to order breakfast. Better deal

Service was good (especially in the restaurant). Room and all common areas were very clean. Neighbors TV was loud one evening (or the walls needed more insulation). Part of the hotel was still under construction so some amenities weren't available yet and it seemed that the front desk staff might have been new and still learning. Overall experience was OK.

Great, new hotel in downtown. Within walking distance to restaurants, but also has it’s own restaurant within the hotel. The staff is excellent every time I stay here. Gym facilities are great and better than you find at most hotels. Front desk even assisted me with getting some laundry detergent to wash a load of clothes. Only knock is the parking here - while it’s free, it’s tight spaces and they fill up quickly. Not many options to park. Beds are on the firm to very firm side, but that’s expected these days I suppose. Water pressure in the shower was great and didn’t hear much noise from outside during the night.

Clean, new hotel in a transitioning neighborhood. Our room was comfortable. The hotel was quiet, the staff was helpful, the breakfast was good. It is not included in the room rate, thus the rate was appealing.

We were here in Dec 19&20, 2021. New, very nice hotel, very nice people in reception and restaurant. Restaurant is modern but not too many choices in menu. Mostly Mexican cuisine but everything I tried was tasty, It is in the center of the city, so you have to expect street noise. December is not the best time to visit Albuquerque because of freezing temperatures, but we were glad that we visited Albuquerque.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The design of this hotel is amazing. The artwork is great. The common areas on the second floor and first floor are a nice touch to the hotel. The location is close to tons of restaurants. The patio was temporarily closed. The staff is friendly. Every future trip to Albuquerque will be spent here.

Currently staying at the Hilton garden inn. I am impressed by their hospitality. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have a great view of the city. The staff is extremely warm and helping. They are always ready to help, special mention of Mis Rosi at front desk, who went out of her way to help.I look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend the Hilton garden inn hotel for the stays.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque Downtown, and I was very impressed with the customer service. The lady at the front desk, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, was super sweet and kind. She knew I was exhausted from a long motorcycle ride, and she did everything she could to make me feel welcome. She offered me water and helped me get to my room as quickly as possible. The room was clean and comfortable, and the gated motorcycle parking was a plus. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Albuquerque.

After not having a room clean available for check in at another Hilton property, we came to this hotel. Ladies at the front desk were kind and very helpful! Safe, gated parking area. Security was also visibly walking around which was comforting. Our room is very big and very clean. Great experience!

The wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days, so this is an honest review. Now this place wasn't bad, but we were hoping there was more for what we paid for. The staff was friendly and helpful when we interacted with them, so that is always good. The room we got was the extended stay room with a kitchenette and it was absolutely wonderful. Now for the bad parts in the room were the bed and toiletries they give you. The bed is an absolute rock, and for what you pay for the room you would expect a nice mattress, so if you have back issues this is a BIG heads up! The second issue was the soap and conditioner and the soap bar they give you for the shower, they were so TINY! we had to go buy our own shampoo. Now if you have kids just a heads up there is ZERO activities for them at the hotel. There is no pool here and there isn't anything on the patio for them either so just a heads up there also. The last negative thing to mention was the Parking areas, there are 3 different areas you can park at and they are all a pain in the butt to use. Overall this is a decent place but save yourself some money and headache.

The Good: Interior beautiful, large corner rooms, good security. Very comfortable firm bed. The Bad: Noisy, thin walls, hear plumbing from room above. Overall, it was a great stay with lots of sleep with some interruption.

I had some friends stay here. They got in town in the morning, after their 20 hrs. road trip. Was told that they couldn't check in until 2pm. When they tried to check in at 2pm.,,, they were told that the room wasn't cleaned yet and housekeeping was behind because people didn't check out on time. Was told the room would be ready by 6pm. They ended up having to go and shower at another hotel, where a friend of their's was staying, since they were attending a conference. Later that evening, when one of them went to the bathroom, she found out that there wasn't any toilet paper. Not something you would expect from a Hilton. Poor Service and was not offered any discount for their inconvenience.

The hotel was very nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. Loved the lounge areas and rooftop area. Having Cornhole to play was a big plus for our teenagers. The weight room was clean and had lots of equipment. There is a laundry room as well. The area that the hotel is located in is not the safest, and parking is limited in the garage. That is where we felt safest. You can park across from the hotel, and there is a lot across the ally that is gated. There are security guards to help monitor the parking garage and visitors entering and exiting the hotel.

This property is quite new and in a great location downtown. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. However, I was disappointed with the service that I received during my recent stay. The front desk staff members were not very professional or aware of Hilton Honors benefits. Also, the free shuttle service that was listed on the HH app was not available when I needed it. I was told instead to book a ride with Lyft (at my own expense). Lastly, my bill was not correct; I did not receive my HH food and beverage allowance that was promised to me. I hope that the staff training will improve.

A couple of rude employees can ruin it for everyone! Only stayed a night and i learned that most of the staff is very friendly but then there's the "boss"... one of the most stuck-up individuals I've ever met. Extremely rude, I really don't see how she even keeps her job. Another staff member at the restaurant was very impolite and moved her head with an attitude when responding to a question I asked. The rooms are really small for a $200 price tag. Be careful where you park because of all the homeless wondering around the building. Parking spaces are way to small and several dings WILL pop up on your vehicle. Another thing is the 2 in 1 hotel situation. Is it a Hilton or a Homewood or a Motel6? Some people get free breakfast, some don't.. very confusing place and not worth a second stay!

We stayed here Christmas night. The room was nice and the staff friendly. We left our dogs travel bowls at home. The lady was helpful and found us a little tub for her food and water. I don’t know why she could not find a bowl. But hey she was helpful and it worked. We had vouchers for breakfast but passed as it did not look appealing.

Great customer service upon check in, the rooms don't seem to have any insulation to block out the traffic and other quest noises. Very secure garage parking, sadly you now have to pay $9.00 a day to park in the hotel. There also isn't any parking for quests. We had a shower drain incident, and when it was fixed, the technician left the bathroom area a mess. I had to call the front desk to have housekeeping clean up. Overall, I won't be staying at this Hilton location in the future.

Being in downtown ABQ isn't without it's issues but this place is great. The service from all of the staff is great, everyone I've interacted with has been awesome. The restaurant and bar provides great tasting food and a nice selection of beer on tap. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. While not an issue for me, the built in air conditioning is quite loud which I can see as a potential issue for some. Since I like the white noise at night and the fact I can control the temp of the room it's not an issue for me. They have quite a lot of parking options which can potentially be difficult to enter and exit, the spaces themselves are quite large. The lots are secured with high walls and room key activated gates which is critical for downtown ABQ. Overall, I've enjoyed my stay.

The location is convenient but the homeless surrounded the hotel. The rooms are fantastic. Comfortable beds soft pillows, mood lighting and a perfect shower. We eat on site and the beer & cocktails are nice. Get the loaded French fries the cilantro sauce is killer. We enjoy the roof top fires and views. This is out favorite hotel in Albuquerque

I enjoyed my stay here. The location is close to the public transportation, and the security is trustworthy. You need your ID card just to enter the lobby and even to use the elevator.

Hotel staff were great, even fixed a mixup when I booked the uptown location instead of the downtown one. Beware of parking in the garage! Very tight spaces with no room to get out. Our rental got dented by the driver next to me.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. It has a bar fire pit outside, and the breakfast was awesome! The only thing was the front desk people were not that friendly. The maids were more friendly than the front desk employees. Other than that, it was great.

One of the best hotels downtown! First, customer service is excellent. Second, you’re situated on Central Ave with numerous dining options within walking distance. There’s also an in house restaurant that I didn’t sample. Parking is a bit tight but ample/doable especially if you’ve traveled some overseas. Rooms were very clean and contemporary. Overall a great stay!

I slept really good and that's not a usual thing when not in my own bed. Everything is clean and beautiful. The restaurant in the lobby has delicious sweet chili sesame wings and an excellent selection of beers. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wish we could stay two more nights, but I have to get back on the road.

Convenient location, hotel room was modern and spacious, comfortable and very clean and was stocked well. We stayed just for one night passing through and we enjoyed being there. Will stay there again next time we are in ABQ.

I booked this hotel because on the main website, it shows that Airport Transfers are included. However, once checking in I am told that had I looked deeper into the website I would have noticed that transfers have been suspended. To find this information, I was told that I should have scrolled down to the bottom of the main page. Clicked a new link that mentions amenity changes and then opened the new page and scrolled down to see those amenity changes. I did not go through this multi step process, so I was not aware of the changes. Hilton did state (in a very complicated process) that the transfers were not available, however it was done quite secretively and almost implies they do not want potential guests to realize this amenity is not available. I was also under the impression of a breakfast being available, however I was informed AFTER check in there was a fee. Sadly, there is more. My first night of stay, my next door neighbors came in around 3am and began playing music. In my neighbors defense, I don't think they were chatting that loud nor was the music turned up at an unreasonable level, but the walls in this hotel are extremely thin and I could hear everything. I'd think with a respectable name like "Hilton" there would be more importance put on the quality of the hotel and materials used in the build, but that was not the case. My uber driver + some other individuals I met while staying in Albuquerque asked for my opinion of the hotel and I was honest. I do not recommend anyone stay here. This was quite a poor experience and has shifted my opinion of Hilton.

Good- Rooms are nice, definitely worth the extra $10 for breakfast to be included. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were very clean. Food was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. The outdoor patio is beautiful. The shop they have there has a lot of options. They do have covered parking, but it is tight if you drive a larger vehicle. They do have security on-site. *Most* of the employees are wonderful and very helpful. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance, so if you don't want to eat at the hotel ,there are options without driving. Bad- It is right downtown, so there are cars going by at all hours of the night. It is also very close to the train station so you will hear that noise as well. There were not any views from our room other than the roof and solar panels ( not necessarily a problem just FYI) . Other- It is right across the street from the food bank (again not a problem, just lots of extra people around). It's about a 5 minute drive from the UNM campus and super accessible to I25 and I40.

Great hotel! We stayed in Room 456 and it was perfect for our family of 4 to spread out and have plenty of room. The hotel itself is very well kept and clean. The bed was the perfect firmness that did not have the spots worn in from numerous people sleeping on it. There is not continental breakfast but we knew this ahead of time and it was not an issue for us. It is within walking distance of many great restaurants downtown. Several reviews mention the homeless population but in out experience it is not any bigger than other big cities. We would definitely stay here again.

If you are staying for more than a week, look elsewhere. They could not provide quarters for the washing machines. They do not provide breakfast and the hotel location is not in a convenient area, one or two restaurants within walking distance, if you dare. Also, very limited parking. Again, look elsewhere!

  • 1/5 Tkcmo27 1 year ago on Google
I arrived at the hotel after 5 hours with no parking available in the hotel.I drove around another 15 minutes trying to find parking. I found out later there was parking underground where you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs, no elevator. Thank . Restaurant has no menu's. You better have a phone. I am not staying here again .
