DO NOT EVER STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. YOU LIKELY WOULD BE BETTER OFF STAYING IN A TENT!!!! THE GOOD OL' BAIT AND SWITCH. YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU STAYED. My family and I ended up staying here through an emergency situation due to loss of housing. We lost our home as a result of the pandemic and we had some really great help who recommended we stay here. We checked in and the staff served friendly and even gave the impression that they genuinely cared about my family. I could not understand the awful reviews and the GM even practically begged me to leave a good review. I am so thankful that I did not. Everything was tolerable until the first "inspection Friday" (which we were not informed about until the day after we checked in). These inspections are mandatory and typically result in significant fines on top of the weekly/monthly rate. Upon move in we found a less than spectacular room, cigarette burns and stains, clogged toilet and sink. We informed the staff and we're assured that it would be fixed right away. The maintenance off the sink and toilet never happened before the first inspection. We were subsequently fined $50 for the toilet and sink and given a warning for the little bit of hair that I missed when sweeping after giving my sons a hair cut. I was disgusted that we were being fined for a maintenance issue that was present upon move in. I was told that we MUST pay the fine or face eviction as per the policies "we signed at check-in". I never signed any policies, nor was I given a copy or given a receipt for payment. Each week we were fined for something (totaling$50-75 per week). Most of the people I spoke to who were also staying there had the same experience. These "inspections" were simply a predatory income stream because they knew people were desperate to maintain housing during the pandemic and the winter time. The inspection on Christmas Eve resulted in a $150 fine for being "cluttered" . When my husband went to request a little bit of time to return Christmas presents to pay the fine (we had spent all of it money to prepay rent through February 2022 and Christmas so we're had nothing left to give them for fines) we were kicked out. The GM had it car towed and trespassed my husband and I and put us out at 8pm two days after Christmas. They kept all of our money, all of our kids Christmas gifts, clothes, uniforms, school supplies, brand new bikes, scooters, skate boards (I worked so hard to get that stuff for our son's)everything we owned with no regard for my families wellbeing. Completely heartless and deplorable. I posted a survey question on Facebook on the Albuquerque page and the GM responded to my post with my address (putting my family at risk) Ave completely unfounded lies and slandered my family to all the nearby hotels. This blow started the downward spiral that landed us homeless on the streets with nothing. We lost our sons to my dad because they weren't safe on the streets. They fined our holiday and almost completely broke my family. We are still rebuilding, but DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CRIMINALS, THEIVES, SCAMMERS AND DEPLORABLE HUMAN BEINGS WITH NO CONSCIOUS AND NO EMPATHY, COMPASSION, OR HEART. They deserve NEGATIVE STARS.

Zero Score Hotel. All the doors are bent on the outside from being forced open. Floors were totally filthy. No trash cans at all inside the room. Half the lights didn't even have light bulbs inside. No refrigerator. No microwave. Mold in the shower. Stains on the sheets. Hair in the tub and around the sink. Bed was super hard like sleeping on concrete. When I checked in, the front desk employee was eating what appeared to be clam chowder out of an ice bucket from one of the rooms. Never seen anything like this in my life. Homeless people right across the street with a tent setup off the roadway. I probably could have stayed with them for free and had a better experience. This hotel is the worst one I've stayed at to date. When I walked in, I took a towel and wet it. Ran the wet towel along the vinyl flooring. So filthy! It is like they never clean. Collect and coast mentality of running a hotel.

There is no hot water in the room and when called the receptionist made it seem like a user error and told me I was not turning the handle the correct way. As I continued to try and get ahold of someone I got no response for hours and the hot water never came on. I am here for 2 more nights, I would like a new room with everything in working condition immediately or a full refund. Dismissive customer service is the worst!

I've been here for a month, because I don't have a choice. The first room had no hot water, which seems to be a repeating issue. And the sink was clogged with puke. Toilet didn't flush, major septic problems! One Saturday morning, a guest got shot in the neck, no police were called. Windows in my truck got broke. If you are reading this then your probably here. Run! šŸ˜‚ I think a couple homeless people broke in here and got the place running.

I booked 1 double-bed room through Google at their official website. And I got my confirmation number. But when I come to check-in they said that they donā€™t have any reservation. They even didnā€™t tried to help me with it or to check system. I think they just donā€™t want to do anything. They send me to another hotel which has the same name Green tree. I go there, but it was definitely not my hotel where I made reservation. When I came back here to show that I booked room at their official website, they were closed! The lobby closes at 7pm. It was the worst experience of many hotels I had.

This place is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I just checked out today, after staying for a week, and it was a truly nightmare experience. The ac heater was busted, no remote for tv, no garbage can, and the toilets were plugged. But the worst is, they are crooks, every body listen closely, they stole my cash deposit, they lied, making up stories of cigarette ash in my room. Please every body who reads, don't stay at the tree inn on menaul, they will steal your cash deposit, their crooks. THE EMPLOYEES ARE COMPLETE CROOKS, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT, NO ONE SHOULD GO THERE EVER!

This is a tough one. The place was originally a Days Inn. It's now an extended stay motel. It's very run down. But it has New owners and really good managers. They are working to improve it. And in the meantime it is very inexpensive.

I rented a week there and went 5 days without hot water, had to take a sponge bath. The fd agent named Mark shouldn't be working in hospitality. I called and told him the issue and his response was "Good Luck" and hung up on me. They made so many excuses until the "security" told me to leave I asked for the manager or owner and the guy sat smugly on the the chair saying he was in charge meanwhile the "security" gave me a hour to leave . I wouldn't waste my time or money here. I reported them to the safe city task force. Stay at your own risk but I'd rather go somewhere else.

CONS: Infested with COCKROACHES, dirty, in disrepair, and overall unpleasant. Other people were complaining of horrible chemical smells. There was no trash can, my fiancee was bitten by bugs, the bed was uncomfortable and unclean. Apparently its also VERY UNSAFE. known for having robberies and drug deals. THE OWNER IS APATHETIC AT BEST. We only stayed long enough to book a different place to stay. You could not pay me to go back. Pros: The only plus to this place was a worker named Mark. He was really nice. He refunded us and gave us his contact for when things go wrong with that. Too bad the owner doesn't show as much care to customers.

Would give zero if possible. I lived there for months. Was assaulted by the property manager LouAnn and dave threatened to shoot me and my disabled daughter. Police said that they couldn't arrest LouAnn because they didn't see the assault occur and I had to take the tramp to court. I ended up waiting 2 and a half hours for an ambulance because LouAnn sent them away. I had blood in my urine for over a week and severe bruising multiple places on my body. Don't ever go there if you value your safety.

So dirty trash everywhere homeless surround the area old clothes and shoes under stairs. Not to mention that the housekeeper wasnā€™t even done ā€œmoppingā€ the floor when we went up to our room. She literally was mopping with a towel ! Room was old and run down and the $80 I paid for was not worth it at all. We actually ended up going to holiday inn and didnā€™t even actually stay here. Save your money and find a nicer hotel!

This hotel deserves no review because of its shabby treatment of its potential customers. My wife booked a reservation at the end of August for October 6 for a family memorial service. Upon making a routine call on the 6th to ask about amenities, we discovered that our reservation had been completely ignored & passed on to somebody else. Acknowledging that a hospitality does reserve the right to refuse service, this is a cut below the waist that will not be ignored. Steer clear of this place, because the proprietors clearly don't have the first clue about customer service.

This was the most disgusting hotel Iā€™ve ever stayed at. Stood in line to check in for at least 20 minutes just to be asked for a $100 cash ā€œsecurity depositā€ that wasnā€™t on the website. Got to our room and there was a long piece of metal laying across the beds, bugs all over the bathroom, roaches in the fridge, the ceiling and walls were completely torn up, and the room smelled like there was something dead in there. We asked for a different room and were given one just a bare step up. They said they didnā€™t have keys so we had to have someone let us in and out of our room. We came back from dinner the first night and found the owner and two random people sitting in our room which made us feel very unsafe. The kicker though was when we went to check out at 7 am on our scheduled day to leave we found out they donā€™t even open their lobby till 9am. The ā€œafter hoursā€ phone number was useless as no one ever answered. Iā€™m assuming this is a part of a scam to keep peoples cash deposits. So we started our 9 hour drive home 2 hours later than expected. Chris and the girl who checked us out were very kind though and I could tell they were doing the best they could do with whatā€™s going on at that hotel.

When my boyfriend and I arrived we were met by ā€œconstructionā€ being done on the front entrance and 3 employees at the desk. Everything seemed sketchy since the beginning then the employees asked for information that wouldnā€™t usually be needed, such as my boyfriendā€™s ID even though the reservation was under my name, the make model, license plate number and color of our vehicle, a contract to sign with so many rules that seemed odd for a 2 night stay. Then they asked for a $100 deposit that had never been previously mentioned when I paid for my reservation, oh that was also asked to be paid in cash. They asked if I knew about this and when I said no they asked if I had any cash on me. When I started asking questions as to why this was not told to me before I made my reservation they asked how long we intended to stay and when I said 2 nights they conveniently waived the deposit. After signing this contract they gave us a room key and we went to what I could only describe as a hole of a room. It was empty and pretty gross. It seemed to be 2 rooms connected by a door that had the handle taken off, a twin bed that was not made and looked like it was falling apart even though I had asked for a queen size bed, 2 bathrooms with no toilet paper and toilets that looked as if they hadnā€™t been cleaned in months a gross pull out sofa, a tv with no remote, and an air conditioning unit that was broken and seemed to be growing mold inside and a lamp that wasnā€™t even plugged in. We went to the front to ask why werenā€™t given the room we requested and the man in front (Chris I believe his name is) said he didnā€™t even know they had rooms that had twin beds, I thankfully took a picture to show him and he said ā€œHuh? You learn something new every dayā€ he then changed us to a better room with a queen sized bed but we still felt very uncomfortable and unsafe with all the people we had seen around us staring us down and the smell of marijuana and cigarettes everywhere. Save your money and upgrade to a better hotel, there were too many people that were noticeably on drugs around this establishment.

Do not make reservations with the following staff Chris, Katie, with this hotel. I made reservations a month and half ago for a family reunion with confirmed reservations. Upon traveling across three states and giving them a courtesy call to confirm. Upon arriving they gave the rooms away with no explanation. Upon in disbelief we scrambled and we were very fortunate to acquire a hotel room. Iā€™ll never recommend this hotel and its affiliates.. be aware.. donā€™t let it happen to you..

The place has really gone down hill. The name on the front doesn't match the name on the check in slip, or the name on Google maps. They mainly do weekly rates, but don't mention that when you're trying to book a room. So you're surrounded by locals and most of them are on drugs so there's a lot of noise at night yikes!!

Staff is good and compassionate for the time that I have been staying at Tree Inn hotel. The service is super helpful from the Chris as Evening Front Desk Service member, to Katie as morning Front Desk help. Krystal in Housekeeping always makes sure my stay here is comfortable. When I had maintenance issues, Alex was sure to work around my schedule to fix any and all issues I had. Security members at Tree Inn, David, Patrick and Coty made sure our safety was #1. There knowledge and expertise was excellent my policing the hotel property, roads, and buildings. I am grateful for the team of professionals who aim to keep this property alive during the the recent change of development.

Do not waste your time with this place. On July 12, 2023, my family reserved a room at this hotel for 10/12/23-10/15/23. We arrived at the hotel on 10/12/23 and stood in line. As we waited we watched the front desk clerk sell rooms to other individuals and asked for 100 cash deposits. Those people were told the rooms had to be checked by a housekeeper who would go sniff the room to make sure it smelled ok, they were then told the housekeeper would sniff the room again upon checkout to make sure it smelled ok and they MIGHT get their cash deposits back. I was next in line and was told they were fully booked and thereā€™s nothing they could do to accommodate. They told me to contact the site I reserved and get my money back. As I contacted the site I was told I'm being charged a no show fee. After explaining the situation to the customer service agent they contacted the hotel and confirmed they were sold out of rooms and would not honor my reservation. Please do not bother with this place!!!

Beware! This is not a hotel in the traditional sense of the word, and it is NOT a Days Inn as some photos imply. It seems to be an extended stay or boarding house. There is NO maid service or breakfast. Guests must clean their own rooms including taking their trash to a dumpster. A $100 Cash deposit is also required at check-in. I made my confirmed reservation over 2 months ago via Expedia and when I arrived, thankfully there were no rooms available.

First of all. This place is run down and close to not even being acceptable to house people. The walls were covered in food. The sheets also covered in food. They give you one pillow per bed and the blanket was so thin you could almost see through it. We decided to get a refund and stay at another hotel. Second thing that happened was that when we asked for a refund the guy who ā€œjust took over the placeā€ told us it would be processed within the week. It has been about 2 months now and no such refund has been filed. The so called owner, who looks like an off brand island boy, said they were trying to turn the place around but obviously lying to your customers isnā€™t a good look.

Zero stars for this place! One step away from being condemned. Roach and bug infested half the rooms are empty because theyre total junk. If you can afford to pay a few extra dollars stay somewhere else do it. The doors dont secure, they dont leave towels or toilet paper in rooms. Theres homeless people all over albuq not just at motel. The bugs getting on you at night are what you need to worry about Dont forget to take some OFF and air freshner because your going to be bit with all the mosquitos in the rooms

This is definitely not a luxury motel. The customer service begs to differ, though. We arrived nearly 6 hours before checkin. I had been up for 28 hours already. We drove in for the balloon fiesta, went straight to setup our balloon and fly then I took my extremely exhausted kids to the motel on the off chance we may at least be able to sleep in the truck in the parking lot. Mark greeted me with a smile and was so very kind. He went above and beyond to get us in a room immediately and made sure we had everything we needed. His help and attention to detail was better than Iā€™ve ever received at any Hyatt or Hilton. Sure, there were some issues; but they are just switching over to new management. The Tree Inn isnā€™t somewhere Iā€™d typically choose to stay; but Iā€™m really glad they were the only place with reasonable bookings available. Thanks to Mark, we will be staying here every time we come to Albuquerque. We often have to come down from Colorado for balloon repairs and other things. Iā€™m impressed beyond words with the quality of customer service alone. Thank you again, Mark! We hope to see you this weekend! P.s. the room we stayed in was huge. Plenty of open space for an energetic 5 year old to play while we got ready. I imagine most the room sizes are close to the same. I loved the fact they had no carpet. It was a hardwood looking linoleum. It was very aesthetically pleasing! The room was clean and felt as such. Most places, with or without carpet, leave you with black bottomed feet. Not here! The door will also give an annoying chirping sound if it isnā€™t fully closed. This, to me, is fantastic and gives that extra sense of security.

It's in the midtown ghetto and there's really nothing good about this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to my 2nd worst enemy. Be aware of your surroundings and do yourself a favor and pay a few extra bucks for a much better place. I'll spare you the details or you can see for yourselves

I rented a room for a month in my eyes it's not as bad as people are describing the property to be. Everyone has flaws but since the new management took over it's like 100% better.Housekeeping in on there best,Maintenance is there if u need them and Management is always willing to help in the best way they can. All in the up n up the new staff has come along way, they are friendly, outgoing and have a family feel about the property now I feel like I'm at a home of my own Thank u

This hotel has made a big turnaround with the new management and owners that took over the hotel now I am having hot water and the Wi-Fi works pretty good not to mention the general manager is super sweet and has worked with us And itā€™s just all-around awesome not to mention the rates are the best in town

My family stayed here while I was on a business trip in Texas so they could watch the Ballon festival. My car ended up breaking down and I wasn't able to get back in time before check out. We managed to get transportation but until the next day and the managers/staff went above and beyond to take care of my family and letting them stay longer with no extra fees. I travel a lot and this is my 1st time ever experiencing such kindness and professionalism in any hotel I have stayed at. I really feel grateful to the staff and manager of the hotel and would definitely recommend to stay again (with less cars breaking down on our end). Thank you so much from me and our family you guys were amazing!
