A clean modern hotel in a convenient location (at the intersection of two major interstates). The only flaw was that the housekeeping was a bit off: we found an empty energy drink can and an empty skin lotion bottle in our room upon check-in, and housekeeping never came to clean our room. I considered bumping the review down to 4 stars for this, but alas this is all too common post-COVID.

My boyfriend booked this particular TownPlace Suites for my birthday weekend in NM. This hotel was central to all of the ABQ activities we were interested in--the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is just around the corner, Mama's Minerals is just the next parking lot over, and quite a few highly-rated restaurants are within walking distance as well. The hotel was also right off the highway which made it simple to navigate to places out-of-town. Check-in was really easy. This TownPlace Suites was extremely dog friendly so we brought ours on this trip. Checking him in was also easy. They give you a form to fill out and there's a $50 cleaning charge for the whole stay--unlike other places that charge per night. There's also a grassy area out back that is stocked with poop bags. Our dog really loved the staff and the head scratches and treats they liked to bestow on him. They designated a handicap-accesible room for us. It was super spacious with a kitchenette equipped with fridge, dishwasher, 2-burner stove, and all dishes and utensils you might need. The bathroom was also pretty big, and I enjoyed the two shower head options. Everything in the room was clean. Even the bathroom was spic-and-span! We were in room 310 and the front desk told us that it'd be loud because we were right by the elevators but we never even noticed them. The only thing we could hear outside of our room were the guests right above us which was not a big deal. The continental breakfast was decent. There's a waffle machine open for use every day, cereal, breakfast breads, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and a rotating menu of meats. They had a pretty good juice station but what really impressed me is their hot drink station which included a plant-based option. My boyfriend enjoyed the hot coffee which he describes as good quality and I loved that I could make an oatmilk London Fog every day. The fitness area was well-equipped; though, we didn't get a chance to work out here. There are also two outdoor patio areas that looked nice, but that we did not have time to enjoy. On Saturday, my boyfriend parked on the side of the building with his hazard lights on to recover something I had forgotten in the hotel. A security guard in a vehicle stopped to check and see if we were okay. I already felt safe in this neighborhood but I felt ESPECIALLY safe after that! Not only is there a security post right behind the hotel, but there is also federally regulated property the next parking lot over. I felt comfortable walking my dog alone late at night. We heard that the hotel was sold out over the weekend but we never had an issue with parking. The staff were always extremely helpful and courteous. I don't think I saw anyone twice at the front desk, but each person was knowledgeable and very efficient in their job. I loved this hotel. The staff was great, the hotel was pristine, the location was safe and accessible, and it was cute to see all the hot air balloons floating around in the distance every morning. It's just a great place overall!

I stayed at this hotel and fell coming in the door because the rug in front flipped up. I hurt my shoulder which is still in pain 2 months later. I asked for the manager Rebecca to call numerous times. She never did. She totally ignored me. It doesn't matter if the hotel is nice if it is not safe and the staff does not address your issues. . .The manager leaves a lot to be

Justin was awesome at check-in. Rarely in my 30+ years of traveling and hotel stays have I encountered such quality service, cheerfulness and undivided attention at check-in. Taking my elderly mother on her final cross-country road-trip; we arrived a bit early. Rather than stall or make excuses, Justin went far above and beyond to get us into our room as fast as possible, all while he helped get us familiar with the area. Iโ€™ve stayed in $1600/night hotels where the service wasnโ€™t this good. Well done, Marriott. In my book, youโ€™ve got a hero in Justin. Oh, andโ€ฆ the room was awesome โ€” slightly on the expensive side, but quite upscale and worth every penny.

Stayed on points since it was 5K less for this location. Easy in/out with 6th and 12th St just around the corner. Dee Dee was great and location was clean/quiet. Seems to be pet friendly and they did honor my Marriott Platinum Elite Status with a suite upgrade (desk / TV area)

No matter how nice the rooms are, it doesn't give the employees the right to invade guests privacy. I talked to the front desk on my day of checkout, and was able to do a late checkout by thirty minutes, since I was waiting on laundry to dry. Apparently their bruiser that they send to kick people out of their rooms (Devin) didn't get the memo, bangs on my door and after three knocks just opens my door and barges in, while I'm getting dressed. I explained that I had already told the front desk I was checking out late, and I was still within the timeframe. He mumbled and left, but I find this behavior incredibly outrageous.

What a wonderful stay! The staff couldn't be any nicer. Being in and out through the stay I was able to see the staff interacting with many people from old to young and kind to mean! All I can say is give them all a raise! They entire stay was great from the check in to breakfast and the cleaning of the room. Thanks for all of your hard work and keep it up! ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Conveniently located and a nice are with all the needed amenities in close proximity. My room was nice and had the required supplies to prepare simple meals. Rooms appear clean at a glance but could use a little more care. The shower head was terrible, and water was getting on the floor. Didn't get resupply of dishwasher detergent or replacement dish rag or hand towel after the first housekeeping visit. Overall, it was great place to stay. All staff were friendly and attentive.

Richard was amazing from the moment I booked on the app. He answered every question I had right away. I even asked for recommendation for the best Mexican food around and he definitely delivered there. Monroe's was excellent. Richard was also ahead of me on my request and already had it set up for me before I even asked. I would highly recommend staying here. Also I will be staying here again if ever in the area. At first on our way to the hotel and we went through old downtown there was a lot of homeless set up in tents and we where worried about leaving our trailer in the parking lot. But when we got to the area it was a very nice area with restaurants and shops close by. They where doing some construction to renew and revive the area. It put us at ease once we arrived. Thanks again Richard for making our stay comfortable and pleasurable. You Rock!

Rooms were well-appointed and spacious. Decor was nice throughout in the room and in the common areas. The greatest "minus" related to the free breakfast. Much of the food for breakfast is off-limits to guests. A gatekeeper and physical barriers blocked access from getting juice, cereal, yogurt, bagels, and the like. My guess is the purpose was to control room costs related to breakfast, but the effect on guests is to make people wait and feel uncomfortable asking for juice. Drop the barriers please and guests will be happier.

Facility was state of the art, everything worked and was nice, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Shoutout to Justin who was very kind and gracious during my 2ish month stay โ€” he deserves a raise. Taking a point off because of the laundry โ€” the dryers did not dry all the way (and before you ask, yes I cleaned the lint traps.) I had to run the dryers twice (which I didnโ€™t appreciate from a cost perspective) or hang up my damp shirts around the room and blast the AC if time was a constraint.

We were here for a family event. Beds were comfy, breakfast was great, gym was impressive, all the employees were incredibly nice and friendly. I almost forgot, the dogs were happy too. There is a large grass area at the back of hotel.

The room is great, spacious, and comfortable. The bad part is the microwave had food splatter inside and the cups looks dirty. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The staff are friendly especially the ones doing the breakfast. The breakfast includes scrambled egg, sausage with biscuits, bacon, various cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, pastry, fruit, waffles, etc. There's a grill you can use outside also. It's close to the Pueblo Culture Center so you can walk to it.

The only reason I gave three stars is because of Vinny. She was super sweet and attentive to our needs. Upon checking in, my son and I found a baby cockroach in the bathroom. We managed to catch and take it to the front office. As I explained to Ms. Vinny about the situation, she contacted her managers. However Julie who is supposedly another manager came out and stated โ€œwhy, arenโ€™t you carrying that around like your little pet!โ€ I was very offend as I stated 1. Itโ€™s not my pet. 2. I brought it down to show your hotel that you all have cockroaches in your rooms and it makes me question whether or not, you have bedbugs as well. 3. I donโ€™t appreciate your statement as it is offensive to me. You would think that they would offer a free stay and give back the points used as a courtesy. The General Manager Cyndi Wood, explain that she is only authorized at first 1,000 points and to be moved to a different room. In the end, the most she would offer is 4,000 points and a different room. If that was not satisfactory, they would refund my points and I can find another hotel. The cockroach is question, was a baby which means there is a family of cockroaches in the hotel. Good luck staying here. Make sure you look in the rooms and bathrooms for cockroaches and bedbugs.

There are worse places to stay, and this place isn't awful. Overall, definitely okay. I did not appreciate having to be nickeled and dimed for everything, when the rooms already cost a fair amount. The room itself seems clean at first, but the shower head is busted and there are areas that could use a little more attention. My room (106) was also very loud and poorly insulated. Door sounded like it was made of paper. Service was either hit or miss. Didn't have what I needed

We stayed here on two separate nights on our way to Utah and back as a midpoint between Utah and texas. The hotel location was great right off the freeway, and there are plenty of places to eat around there. The rooms were clean and the hotel feels new. The breakfast crew in the morning was great and interacted with us, and even remembered us on our second stay. Overall a great few stays and we will return when we travel again.

We stayed three nights while on vacation in Albuquerque. Location was great right off the highway, near gas, a decent restaurant/ bar next door, newer building which is always a plus. The front desk staff ( Vinnie ) was amazing. Breakfast was fresh and the waffles rocked. The pool was an inside normal hotel pool and laundry was only 1.50 and nice size washers. Great experience.

  • 5/5 Erin W. 8 months ago on Google
Everything was good. There was lots of cultural knowledge about New Mexico's Pueblo tribes. However, the pool hours are ridiculous! It's open from 8pm -10pm. Yep.. you read that correctly. It's open for two hours at night. So it's not exactly the place to stay with kids who love to swim. It's kind of a bummer, actually.

This place is awesome! Staff is so friendly and rooms are so clean. But what i enjoyed the most of this location is the breakfast. They have so many options. Maria always has the breakfast area so clean and organized and on top of that she lovely and caring! I will be back to this hotel every time im in NM!

Albuquerque is pretty dumpy in general but this place is in a prime location with all new buildings neat by and has security at night. The hotel staff were nice and the rooms were really clean and nice. We stayed in a different Marriott the next night because we had to be close to something and I wish we had stayed at the other hotel. I would hands down stay here agai.

Just checked in Unbelievable! I ordered a 1 bdm with adjoining room since my son is autistic. Not only was the room not adjoined it wasnโ€™t a 1bdm ( they apparently sold out after I had already reserved one) and the queen smelled like dog pee. They gave us another queen room, this one had stained bed cover and blood on the towel!!!! Wth kind of place is this????? NEVER AGAIN! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!!!

Vinny and Monica were very professional and helpful in checking us into our room. We needed some additional items for our room, and they were more than accommodating. Since we have a trailer, they advised us where the best place to park was. I have never used the mobile key, and they had patience with dealing with all my questions about it

Friendly staff and good customer service. I would have rated higher if the would honored as I am a gold lifetime member and had requested complimentary upgrade. Since I had a reservation for 7 days., also the breakfast menu is the same all the seven days, a pathetic experience. Also no plates for breakfast and had to use cups for eating waffles . I wouldn't recommend this place

This is a great place to stay. Very polite at the desk and easy check in. Parking lot felt safe and does have security patrol. Breakfast was good and coffee is excellent. Rooms was clean and very big. Highly recommend.

Our room was not particularly clean. Stains on linen and towels. Walls were thin, so we heard every lightest noise outside out room. Dog walking grass area was ok but not really maintained. Not good enough to come back especially with such high nightly rates compared to other hotels in the area.

Very nice! Night shift front desk is very professional. Room is spacious, extra pillows were on the bed as requested. Nothing to complain about at all. Great value.

Excellent mattress. Clean rooms & bath. Brkfst waffles & quich great. Excellent Starbuck coffee. Best Town Place Marriott with which we've stayed. Thanks!

  • 5/5 Ro H. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed for a week in November 2022. Room was clean and newish. Appliances all worked well and cookware was decent. Rooms have noise issues from thinish walls and a nearby train, but nothing a white noise can't fix or headphones. The morning breakfast was good, with pepperjack cheese on the breakfast sandwiches. Eggs and waffles, cereal and a fruit were also available. The local area has dramatically improved in the last few years, but there is still a shortage of dining options in walking distance, and a drive will take you through a few rough neighborhoods. All in all, it's a great option if you need to be near downtown, but don't want the parking issues of downtown.

This is a fabulous Marriott property, just across the street from a fabulous bar and restaurant. Check in was a breeze and the desk lady was super nice and so is my room. So happy I stayed here.

The best hotel we stayed at on our trip! The room was spacious with a lot of storage space. Nice size bathroom. The whole facility was clean, open, colorful and the service was fantastic. Definitely a great place to stay for an extended amount of time.

Clean, safe hotel with courteous employees. Parking feels safe, and there many new restaurants are being built in the walking distance. Starbucks is also right there. Breakfast included. NO vegan options.

So this place just open, so that means customers are paying a high price? Since when does a hotel ,thats build on federal land cost so much a night? Thank you hotel owners, for letting us pay your federal subsadairys an loans back, i can stay a week in a great place, for that much...

I've stayed at this hotel two different times, both have been great stays. It's a great location near the I-40 and I-25 interchange so it is a perfect fit me when I'm coming thru. I love the large shower except for the design by Marriott Corporate that it only has glass on one side and open on the other side. Not this sites fault all the hotels of this style are like that. Large TV in the room. I have only stayed overnight and got in later and left early so I can't speak on Old Town, the only restaurant I have seen in walking distance, it was Dominoes, there may be more I haven't seen. Would recommend this location

And a THAnks to all housekeeping for good jobs and for being so kind and silly, sorry never got their names. I would recommend this place for a good place to stay. You all keep smiling ๐Ÿ˜
