    Jcpenney has so many sales and deals both online and in store. However, yesterday I went in after my work break and noticed this elderly lady shouting for help and wondering if any sales person could help her. I told her I would help her find someone. We found this associate working in the women department where the dresses were being marked and placed in racks. The customer kept asking her from a distance if she could help her and it appeared that the associate couldn't hear her and so I got closer and got her attention and asked her if she could help the older customer. Apparently this associate seemed like she had heard the customer the whole time and was ignoring her because she just sighted in displeased and was like I guess I can. I thought it was so rude of her to do that. I mean it's their job and usually jcpeneny employees are trained to be more polite and respectful. This experience made me feel like older customers get ignored by the staff.

    Don’t feel safe shopping here. Honestly feel sorry for the workers for putting up with this. I’ve witnessed 4 shopping thefts by the “minority” that make up NM. No security present. While myself and others actually pay for the items… these thieves are getting a slap on the wrist.

    It's one of my favorite stores, for favorite jeans, tops and household items, such as towels and sheets, etc. And they have sales, give discounts and you can get points on your JC Penny credit card.

    I had the worst experience ever! I will NEVER buy again at JCPenney. I ordered 2 pairs of Men Levis jeans from their internet site, because of special sales price, and had them delivered to my home. They did not fit. I initiated a return which required that I return them into my local store in Albuquerque, NM. After returning the jeans, they placed refund amount onto a gift card. I only found one pair that fit and used the credit on the gift card to pay for them. They agreed to order another pair, use the remaining balance on the gift card, and to have it shipped to the local store to avoid additional shipping costs. When I returned home, I received an email stating that the order was cancelled due to payment issue. For some reason, the in-store price was $3.91 additional. I tried to call my local store, pressing every number of listed departments (all 6 of them) on their automated system, never got anyone to answer my call on 2 attempts. Finally, on the 3rd call, someone in the Hair Salon answered. Obviously, my order was not there. I gave up and called customer service, explained the situation, and the customer service representative was kind enough to confirm that the in-store order had been cancelled, allowed me to reorder, gave me the store price, used the remainder of my gift card, used a credit card to pay the difference in price, and was going to ship it to my local store. In a confirmation email of my purchase, imagine my surprise when I discovered that the sales representative sent the jeans to a DIFFERENT city in a DIFFERENT state of Indiana. After contacting customer service after they acknowledged their mistake, I was directed to contact the local store where the jeans were delivered and to "cancel" the order where I was reassured that I would receive a refund and then if I still wanted the second pair of jeans, I could re-contact the customer service, place the order at the in-store sales price, have it delivered to my home with delivery charges waived. I contacted a sales representative at the Indiana JCPenney where the jeans were delivered and she was very helpful. She was able to cancel the order over the phone, BUT their system will NOT allow a refund to the gift card or my credit card or in any shape or form. She is going to research the issue with her supervisor, but WHAT A MESS!!! I don't have enough hours in the day to deal with this mess!!!!

    I wanted my hair done so I booked an appointment for my daughter and I then day of my aunt called and wanted to get her hair done they had an availability so I added her as well. My aunt just got her hair cut she loved it. My daughter who is 10 wanted her hair red she was able to explain what she wanted to her hairstylist as we all were split up. And her hair came out great. The lady did exactly what she wanted. Then mine, the lady did opposite of everything I asked and everything I explained. I went in for bayalage. I explained I liked to do that so I didn’t have to keep up with my roots because I hardly make time for my hair. I said I wanted to see the color and wanted it chunky defining strands like in the few photos I showed her. She basically painted all my hair blonde and colored all my roots this dark brown right away I felt something was off even told her I do this way cause I don’t like messing with my roots she said oh the color on roots is like a see through.. what does that even mean but I went with it. I thought maybe she was doing just sections of my hair no she colored every strand. I was there for 4 1/2 hours. My hair looks nothing like I asked for. I wanted to cry and her and the lady up front said that’s how they do balayage there. They both said I could go back to her and have her fix it! How is that even possible when she didn’t listen at all. Color on some of my head sat on my hair for at least 3 hours then the last batch for maybe 15 minutes. I left paying $340 to get our hair done and I was very unhappy and unheard. That’s 4 1/2 hours I will never get back now I have blonde hair dark roots not what I wanted wasted money and time. My hair is probably really damaged where color sat for hours. I have all this dark color on my scalp I left looking like I still had dye all around my hair line.

    Ordered 3 items, paid for 3 items and then the store didn't have the items had to have another store send it to my location but instead of sending ALL 3 ITEMS!! They sent one item by itself and told me it would be until the 13th before I can get the other 2. I need all 3 items as it's 3 piece suit!! In short, I received the other 2 pieces today I won't be going to this jc penneys again

    Terrible customer service. They typically have 1 dressing room available during the day, none at night. When we begged them to open one at 7:15 (they close at 8 mind you), the manager was so rude. she put a guard over the dressing room to watch my daughter and I, And another family with small kids changing. EVEN when the dressing rooms are open during the day they don't have an attendent. It was like we were in prison. Hate this Store. All the associates were doing were chatting and standing around. Ansolute bad management.

    Ordered some socks online. Ad said 100% cotton. When delivered socks were less than 10% cotton. Tried to return but even though was a advertising issue would not give me back full refund. If I had known that the ad was wrong I never would have made the order. Do not order online from JCPenney. They make you pay for shipping even if the return is because of their fault for false advertising

    I have my hair done in the Salon with the most competent professional staff in the business. I always feel like a queen and get the utmost concern and attention paid to me with every detail of my hair in mind. The mirror doesn't lie - I always look fantastic when I leave! And I always grab a shampoo or style product for myself or as a gift, when I visit. The products are topnotch and they always have two-for sales. If I didn't have to get back the office I could spend even more time shopping in the JCP store!!

    I have been trying for days to get someone on the phone regarding a ship to store order that has been sitting there since July 7, 2022 and still says "in transit to store" - but yet it was delivered via UPS to the store 15 days ago. nobody will answer the phone, all it ever does is go to a recording after ringing, saying that person is not available. Does anyone work there to answer phones anymore? Not going to drive there to waste gas if they've lost the order on the shelf somewhere.

    This place reminded me of my beautiful late mama. She loved shopping here for the Holidays! She is missed and loved soo much. I can't believe she is gone. They were playing her beautiful Christmas music she loved. It made me cry. Lots of memories. 😇🙏🧚‍♀️💖💞♈🎄🎁😢

    did not purchase. The store is so large , I am used to my local store in Santa Fe NM that is small and I know where everything is! I did see some murch that I like that they do not have in stock at my store however!

    Went in for highlights and came out with the bottom of my hair being completely blonde. I am brown on top and copper blonde on bottom! I waisted five hours and $300.

    The staff in Penney's salon are always friendly and make the atmosphere fun. I take my mom every week and she absolutely adores Lee. He does a fantastic job with her hair. They have many stylists and can accommodate any schedule.

    I was browsing the store this afternoon. Unfortunately, I had an old employee tell me rather angrily that I won't find any clothes in the tall and big section of the store. I started wondering if it's just a grumpy old person being angry, but for what reason? I left the store wondering if it has to do with the color of my skin. I sincerely hope not.

    Went here to have photos taken. A girls day out, and we wanted funny photos of us just messing around. The photographer was so easy going, she just let us have fun. Was a good thing we were her last customer of the day.

    I felt the policy of returning without a receipt should be changed. I bought a pair of shoes to where to my brother's funeral. I lost the receipt and never wore the shoes. I returned them and they told me they would give me a fraction of what I paid. I was very distraught during this time and preparing to fly out.

    I was rather disappointed in the store. The layout felt more like a discount store than the original higher end store that it once was. This 2 floor store had only 1 checkout stand open on each floor. With the amount of people checking out, you shouldn’t have to wait in a line 8 families deep & have more checkout lines open throughout the store. In my opinion, this place feels like a ROSS store & I didn’t enjoy my experience.

    I was looking for shoes for my granddaughters wedding I expected to spend the whole day looking for shoes and as soon as I got to the shoe department I found the shoes I needed!! Talk about one stop shopping JCPenney was the place and they had terrific sales on everything!!

    Walked around 20 minutes looking for help price of pants! in mens department. Walked out came home ordered same dress pants and belt on sale from Amazon delivered 2 days no frustration. New reminder why I haven't been to a mall over 10 years.

    Went there with my son to get new gym shoes and was very impressive by the generous discount on all the name brand shoes for kids. Fila's I bought my son for $30.00 were half off ! How can you pass that up??

    There's a good sale that was ending so there were more people than the last time. The stock was every because of the sale. The staff try to stay friendly. Got a great deal on 3 pairs of shoes and a pair of pants. I plan on going back during the black friday sale until black friday.

    I ordered a pair of diamond earrings for my daughter for Christmas from the jewelry department here because they had none of the earrings advertised in stock. The earrings that were delivered were so cloudy they looked like opals. When I returned them the sales girl had absolutely no comment. No " I'm sorry " , nothing. I'll never buy from this jewelry department again. Jc Penney used to be a good reputable store that sold quaility items. Not any more.

    Burned my hair when they colored it. It is a hard melted mess. Plus it cost 200 and was not what I asked for. I even brought pictures. I don't understand why they bleached already blonde hair when it need a shadow root and low lights only. Now I have mushy hair and it's short so the only options are a wig or shaving it off.

    The isles are easy to walk through within the clothing areas. Season clothing is out. The lines for checking out are long. There never seems to be enough store assistants.

    JC Pennys is always a great store to go into. This one is large and has alot of product. The cashiers are friendly and seem to enjoy thier jobs. The only complaint I had is they need to carry more of the popular sizes.

    Sad. I can never find anything that I would actually wear these days from JC Penneys. Their clothes are solid bright colors only like white pink, orange, yellow off red, off green and no dark colors. Seems they are catering to certain types of people who want to blend in to society. Good for ladies, and bottoms both men and women but the shirts probably end up on clearance shelves because they can't sell them. Overall ok, but they have got to get tops of every kind for men. Some employees will offer you a store coupon but not all of them

    Disappointed. Used to be my favorite store. The suits are non existent and scattered. The calling klein suits are randomly hung. Nothing was ironed. It came from a pile. This shocked me. Dressing room was filthy and not managed.

    Would benefit from larger/clearer signs. We did not see the gas pumps for cars (on the other side of the building), nor the "truck entrance" sign. So, we ended up getting the needed diesel from the truck lanes.

    JC Penny's is always reliable. Good selection of clothing. Service was ok. I ask for Polo shirts and the girl said they were all out. Of every kind. Found some as we were leaving.

    It’s unfortunate I don’t remember the young man’s name because he gave us the best curbside assistance, we were missing some items, and he kept going in and out of the store getting us information never made us wait a long time he was very polite the whole time. I hate that I can’t remember his name he have such great customer service. ( young male black hair on the short side)

    I dont frequent the mall and was quickly reminded why. I was knocked over as a man who robbed the makeup area where I was looking at perfume. He jumped over the security rope like a gazelle... which is a joke of a deterrent and ran from the store.. the girls didn't even ask if i was alright.. just simply stated it was a frequent reoccurrence... I purchased my perfume and wont be going back..
