The prices here have gone up so much. It seems like they "look it up on eBay" and then double that price. The sad thing is that whatever doesn't sell goes to recycling and gets destroyed. They've become so obsessed with trying to get top dollar for everything that they are no longer a thrift store. Even with the coupons it's not worth it.

Yeah they're for profit alright. They give you 20% off with a donation. They get their inventory for free. They have NO FITTING ROOMS! so I try on pants in my car, and they don't fit. I take them back to the same girl who checked me out 10 minutes later and can't get my money back - exchange only. So they don't have anything else I want in my size to exchange. No store credit, so I guess I just "donated" another 10$ cash that I'm out. That's not a profit, THATS A RACKET!!! Next time I strip to my undies and try it on in the isle!!!! Or go to Goodwill.

Wandered in yesterday to have a peek and clear my mind (I love thrifting). The store is well organized and fully staffed. However, I was shocked to find such inflated pricing! Perhaps it’s time for more research. Heads up, your pricing on the SHEIN brand is higher than new on their website. And your store is loaded with their overpriced stuff. Also, the brands Tru and No Boundaries come from Walmart.

I love thrift stores and antique stores! I can and usually do spend a few hours at each one I go to. Savers has some great finds in clothes, furniture, shoes, electronics and Nic-knacks. It's just like all thrift stores, it's hit and miss ... I have found it's mostly HIT with this store! Most things are priced right (some way over priced!) You just have to stick to your budget and if something is priced too high then don't buy it.... That's the only way we'll get these stores to realize we won't buy into being gouged. No way! Hopefully it will convince them to lower their prices even if it's a designer top or porcelain plates. We go for the less expensive cost because, HELLO, WE CANNOT AFFORD THE HIGH COST OF THE 'NEW' PRICE! PLEASE LOWER YOUR PRICES! We would be very greatful!

There has been no other person to disrespect a senior in a handicap stall in the bathroom as this woman has today. She outwardly stated "other people need to use that stall!" We were in the handicap stall where I had to assist my 85 yr old client with Alzheimer's and dementia in the stall. The other stall was being used fast without complaints from other individuals. I hope this is a lesson to herself and any company with a handicap stall in their facility. You don't know the situation or state of the person in the stall. Instead of yelling out other people need that stall she could have quietly knocked on the door asking if everything was okay. If she was having a bad day she should've taken a break or gone home.

I used to love shopping at Savers. Well at least until yesterday (senior day). I didn't mind when I had to bring my own bags. I didn't even mind when they closed the fitting rooms and everyone had to wear a mask. But I do mind having to check out my own purchases and try to figure out how to figure out how to answer 20 questions then figure out how to pay for my purchases. There was not one register with a human being working the cash register. When I asked someone who worked there for help she didn't know what she was doing. Worst yet with all the inconveniences the price of the merchandise went up rather than down. Which doesn't make sense because they don't pay for the donations . Now I'm wondering how many people lost their jobs. Bye Bye Savers. Hello Thrift Town where you can try on the clothes, and a cashier checks out your purchases.

The stuff here is overpriced and not only that, they keep going up in cost (been coming here for years). Some of the employees are rude. One of them is an older woman in a wheelchair who was “helping” me. The hand scanner kept scanning the original barcodes of the items because the price tags where badly placed on them and she had to help me numerous times. I kept apologizing even though it wasn’t my fault and treated her nicely. I heard her loudly say “oh my god” while complaining about me right next to me to her coworkers when I had issues again. Maybe this issue would be resolved if you actually placed the new pricing tags on the barcodes instead of blaming buyers. I’m planning on going to other thrift stores where the employees aren’t rude and the prices are decent.

Savers still doesn't have their dressing rooms open. I filled up a cart full of clothes and realized that too late. Definitely not going shopping there again. I don't buy clothes without trying them on.

Savers use to be a good place to shop now they over price items like their new but they are used and mostly broken not satisfied with this store. There's a employee named Michael in the back with frunitire hes been so unprofessional and very rude to other people they haven't fired him with how many complaints that's been towards this employee.

This Savers is just okay. The store is the larger of the two in ABQ but it always seems so picked over. There are always pickers/resellers in the store, especially in the men’s section. I much prefer the other Saver’s location even though the store itself is smaller — there’s just better stuff to be found in that one.

Rude employees, not much in furniture area, high prices on certain items. Make sure, your vehicle is locked. I was walking into the store, I saw a guy looking into my vehicle. So I pressed the car alarm. He got startled and walked away

Savers is a really convenient store to shop at when your looking for used items in good condition. They unfortunately have this one worker named Michael M. He works in the back with furniture he’s very rude to customers and I encountered an incident with him as I was asking a simple question and he said something absolutely rude and other people heard it. This worker has been reported many times from different customers and the manager isn’t doing anything about it. They hire people that don’t know how to be nice and polite to customers they pretty much hire anyone. But this guy Michael is over the edge he needs to be FIRED.

On par with the savers in Santa Fe and Santa Fe is much more expensive overall. I don't know why they're charging $15 for a donated f21 dress. But place was packed so I guess they're still making sales. I thought the place was massive but over priced. 9.99 for a used Victoria's Secret bra, 14.99 for a use f21 or H&M dress... No dressing rooms. No cashiers, only check out lines...

My personal experience with savers was a great experience. I needed some work pants and a couple shirts nobody had my size are they just didn't have any at all .at savers there was an abundance of everything I could want and more. For the price of one expensive pair of pants . I bought three pairs of pants and two shirts four the same price... and was lol perfect they're barely worn savers was a lifesaver highly recommend in

Don’t go to this location unless you want to be harassed by an older worker named Stephanie. She’s the worst savers worker I’ve ever dealt with. After my girlfriend paid she made her refund because she said she didn’t think they tagged it for enough. Also wouldn’t let her buy the pieces. It was a kids overalls and a forever 21 shirt… Fire her ASAP

This location is nicely spread out and well lit. The staff is always friendly on my trips here. It has changed since my last visit. No dressing room is available and they now have multiple self check out stations with credit/debit cards! It was an easy process and I didn't have to wait in line after a huge basket shopper. I enjoy Savers and can wait traffic out while browsing clothes for distraction 😉

I literally couldn't find anything at savers when I went to Albuquerque this past time. I decided to explore some stores to compare their Savers store to the one in El Paso and Las Cruces . Unfortunately the one in El Paso and Las Cruces were way better and had way more variety. Sadly, the Savers in Albuquerque didn't have anything I liked in the clothing section which is where I usually look first. I did feel weird not buying anything and walking out empty handed cause I'm not from Albuquerque so I felt like weird if I walked out without purchasing something. So I ended up buying a cute purse I found for cheap and I got to use my savers points for being a member.

The changing rooms are closed, and if something doesn't fit, you can't return it, only make an exchange. It's near impossible to actually get an outfit there now. It was manageable when I could return the stuff that didn't fit, but trying to find other possibilities that cost the same amount? More trouble than it's worth

Absolutely worst service I have ever had in my life. The dumbest manager I have ever met. I was told that I needed to leave the store or make my purchases and to leave. Don't shop for too long they'll think your stealing.🤣🤣

Cavernous and noisy, but relatively clean and they definitely have the largest selection of clothing in town. Signage is good and the clerks are generally helpful.

I absolutely love this savers but there's a few things I incredibly hate. Savers is suppose to be a place where you find something and absolutely you found such a great deal. This is not the case. The people that has been pricing in the back over prices items you can easily find brand new at a regular retail store. It blows my mind how these prices are. There's a specific employee named Michael he's the worst towards customers very rude and unprofessional no one has done anything about his behavior this savers needs to do something with this furniture guy michael.

-1 overall. As I walk up it’s 3.45 and the security guard tells me they are closed. They are supposed to be open until 4 today. Nope not letting me in. In the 15 minutes until it’s 5 other people have walked up so far to be turned away. It’s very disappointing how customer service has changed. I had checked the day before and was told by one of the managers (Alfred) that they would be open until 4 so thanks for wasting my time Savers. Another store not worried about me spending money there.

Savers has extremely high prices for stuff they get for FREE!!! They over charge as a regular retail store. Theres this one gentleman he’s very unprofessional and extremely rude to customers never once encounter a bad experience in my life his name is Michael at the furniture department I see customers asking for help and he ignores them and once I seen girl young girl trying to ask for help and he yelled saying “DO YOU NOT SEE THAT IM DOING SOMETHING RIGHT NOW” very very disappointed in how savers hires these unprofessional people . Seems they hire just anyone.

No changing room, self checkout only, and they guard the bathrooms. Completely understand if they have theft, but would it be possible to only allow those wanting to try pants on? Cool furniture items though.

Hand sanitizer and masks at the front. Carry out your purchases so you don't pay for bags. Overall, clean and organized!! Remember to check your email for discounts. It helps. Especially during your birthday.

My mother and I enjoy going to Savers. It's a thrift store and a very popular one. They have a little of everything new and used (clothes, shoes, jewelry, books, DVDs, tools, outdoor equipment, furniture, lamps, nick-nacks, holiday items, etc.). Usually it's busy but not crowded. Employees are happy, courteous and helpful. Prices are reasonable although I can find men clothes cheaper at other thrift stores. You might find that item you've been looking for so give it a try.

This place is getting to expensive, you are better off going to Thrift Toqn across the street. This place is constantly selling sets in seperate pieces. I have even seen items here that were priced higher than Walmart brand new. The latest move this place has done tells me to shop elsewhere....they have no changing rooms to try things on before you buy so if it don't fit qhen you get home, tough noogies, all you get is storr credit, no money back. Thrift Town across the street is far better just based on the "try before you buy" aspect plus they are much cheaper than Savers.

So clean and well laid out. They've added a bunch off self checkout stations which were very easy to use. Best thrift-type store I've ever been in!

This is a great place to donate your old items and receive a coupon to go in and shop for something new!! This place is pretty organized and carries more quality items than other thrift stores I've been to. Customer service is regular.

Love this Savers, always has a great selection. If you donate you get a 20% off coupon good until December. I got an electric reclining full sofa for $80!

This store has so much stuff. It's almost overwhelming! My daughter and I love looking for 80's and 90's goodies. We found a lot of VHS tapes and home decor. There is quite a bit of clothing for everyone. We didn't look at everything, but I would guess that if you're looking for something, you'll find it there. Maybe not the exact item but still the same in general.

I absolutely love this store! I got a whole new wardrobe for under $200. The staff is always helpful & friendly. Don't forget to donate things you don't use anymore! Get coupons for donations. Feel good about donating here!

  • 5/5 Ky R. 4 months ago on Google
Savers is one of my favorite places to donate to. They are always very nice and kind when receiving donations and they take care with things they receive. Tina, the donations rep has been outstanding the few times she's helped us. All the way around, this Savers has been a huge help to us!

  • 5/5 Lea E. 1 year ago on Google
This store is very large, and they always have a good selection. Restrooms are always locked, so you have to get an employee to let you in. Upside, their restroom is always clean.

  • 4/5 Jim N. 1 year ago on Google
Lot's of stuff. Got any room left in your house? Buy stuff here to fill those spots. Just think of how much stuff you can fit under the kitchen table. Sure the table and counter is stuffed but you can fit some more! Buy things you may need and keep them forever.

  • 5/5 Mone't B. 1 year ago on Google
The store is well kept, and clean! I always find something awesome there, and my friend just bought a piano, and a telescope for less than $250 altogether which is such a good deal! They have pretty good prices, too. My only complaint is that they don't take American Express cards.

  • 3/5 Betina M. 2 years ago on Google
I enjoy thrifting and this is the best thrift store near Rio Rancho. You have to make sure you know what things cost- new and used,- though, because they can over price on things, especially if they look trendy or new. Inside, it’s not super clean- the floors are always black and filthy, but it’s not too terrible for a thrift store. During Covid they took away dressing rooms and never brought them back. I actually prefer this, because the store feels less crowded without the long lines of people with overflowing carts waiting to try on clothes. Staggering sale days by email amongst Savers members also helps with crowding and makes shopping a much better experience. My biggest issue with Savers lately is the new self checkouts. I usually don’t mind checking myself out at other stores, but at Savers every time I buy something I get several employees standing over my shoulder and micromanaging me the entire time. This doesn’t happen in any other store I’ve been to. I’ve tried to tell them that I don’t need help, but that if I get stuck I will ask them for assistance. I’ve used their check out machines dozens of times and am pretty familiar with the process. They don’t get it, however, and despite my requests for some space, they constantly hover so close to me that I can feel their body heat as they bark at me over my shoulder to do this or that before I even have time to read what’s on the screen. It’s really stressful and makes me feel extremely grumpy at them. I don’t care if they want to watch everything I’m doing to make sure I’m not stealing anything, but I do want some personal space and the freedom to do it myself. I wish they would instead ask, “Do you need help checking out?” And if I say “no” then politely backing away and saying, “Great! Just let me know if you need anything.” If this is how Savers is training their employees to treat customers at the self checkouts they might as well not have bothered to get “self” checkouts at all. If they want their employees to micromanage every transaction it would have been better to just have kept the regular registers and let their employees check you out themselves.

WOW!! What can I say I love love, Savers & Thrifttown, both stores are the best and everyone makes you feel so good & special just like one of the family. I highly recommend everyone to shop at either store, you won't be disappointed matter of fact you come out smiling from ear to ear

😠 I stopped by this thrift store today for the first time ever and found the employees to be rude and unhelpful. It was about 7pm and they were closing at 8.
