We enjoyed this park. There are two types of spaces, gravel or concrete. We stayed in a gravel space which was just fine. Not quite level but we didn't have trouble getting the coach level. Water, 30/50 amp and sewer at each site. Two little lakes for fishing (permit required). There is a train right next to the campground boundary. Lucky for us, we like the sound of trains. We would stay here again.

The Isleta lake we called told us the lake was stocked and boy was she right! It was definitely stocked ..... with water. We paid $40 to fish at this joke of a lake! Oh and they charge $2 to the driver who drops you off for a few hours! We walked around to ask 20 people fishing at the lake if they had caught any fish? Everyone answered with the same answer "Are you kidding, the only thing biting is the cold air!" Don't waste your time here..if you want fish go else where. The thing is Isleta lake, in the '80's thru the early 2000's, used to be fantastic, concerts, fishing tournaments and plenty of fish. Now it's a joke with no punchline. We went to another lake and within 4 hours caught our limit and had a great time...and it was free! Oh also the sign says closes at 8 but the clerk said "that's wrong we close at 6" we asked if we could used two rods each the clerk told us only one rod per fisherman and yet we saw multiple people with two rods fishing and security driving by slow and no stops? What happened to you Isleta Lake?

Nice campsite with full hookup, and a beautiful lake that has a trail you can walk around and benches for you to sit and enjoy yourself. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed our stay! However, be aware that the campground is near train tracks.

Level sites with plenty of room between them. Unlike the big name in RV parks, Isleta has wide spaces and roads. We were pleased when we discovered our pull through site had a lake view. Room for a 40 ft rig and 20 ft trailer. The hookups are extremely well installed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The grounds are spotless. Prices are not bad for what you get. There is a pay lake for fishing with an island. Large playground and lots of room. You can hear the train at night but it is not loud. All in all a very nice place to stay.

This is a very clean, convenient RV park. The staff were friendly & Covid cautious. Security was great, a very safe place we felt. They did a terrific job spacing out the RVโ€™s when they could. Weโ€™ll be back!!

Paid $20.00 to fish today at 2 dead lakes. $18.00 for the fishing license for me and $2.00 for my better half to just enter Isleta lakes. I never heard of paying for someone just to enter fishing ponds if you're not fishing. Well anyways I expected to have a nice time fishing. Did I say fishing? Well there has got to be fish in order for it to be called fishing, right? It was pitiful! No one was getting any bites. Not even one bite to be had! I threw everything at them I had. No one was catching a thing. The lake was barren! Don't sell fishing licenses if there aren't any fish! Isleta lakes keep record at the guard shack going out of the lake how many fish have been caught in the last past week and they told us only two trout have been pulled out of the lake! When asked why So little fish are in the lakes they said that all the eagles are eating the fish! Lmao... what excuses! Don't charge money if there are not any fish! Truly Not Cool! ๐ŸŽฃ

So dissatisfied, yes they have a beautiful RV Park. But they shouldn't charge people for fishing....... When nobody's catching fish. Close to home but not worth the price, I can go anywhere else and catch fish. Don't understand it. Thinking about reporting them. I think they're taking people's money for nothing. Very sad. Will not be going back. We're in 2022 no

We were disappointed and won't return. Why? Access to the Rio Grande is not possible due to the high chain link fence that encloses the entire park. No fire ring is offered for a camp fire. The grill that's available was full of charcoal ash; it should have been cleaned out after the previous visitor's use. The water spigot for a hose to the RV is about 4 inches off the ground and faces down, which makes it a challenge to screw a hose onto it, especially when it's cold and the hose is stiff. As for plugging in an electric cord to the electricity outlet, the numbers indicating 10 amp (?), 30 amp, and 50 camp are worn off, so it's not obvious which lever to flip. A Rail Runner train station is nearby, and while there's a certain attraction to an occasional train whistle, this one is more frequent and louder than we enjoyed. Each RV site is landscaped with rocks ranging in size from a golf ball to a softball. Which means that in the dark, it's possible to turn an ankle or even fall after stepping on one of the larger rocks. At a per-night fee of $37 per night, I expected better. As for park cleanliness, it was satisfactory. And the ducks and geese in the park lake are fun to watch.

Wouldn't let us stay in our skoolie because they "don't allow older or renovated vehilcles". This is a picture of the very first RV inside the gate.

We had our 1st experience taking are 5th wheeler out. Enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the property. We walked the lakes enjoyed the wildlife. There are early morning trains that go by but after a few mornings did not bother us much. The Isleta Casino provides shuttle service to and from casino to your trailer. We also used the Spa services of the casino and ate at a couple of their restaurants. When we stayed the RV resort had a stay two night get one free. I believe are 6 day stay was $140. Saturday morning club house offers free donuts and coffee.

I think the pictures are pretty self explanatory and I know the fish is not a catfish but let me tell you what you pay for is to watch a guy go around on a cart and pick up all the dead fish you wish you could catch haha!

Never catch any fish here. It's expensive. The ants have totally taken over the grounds. There's a lot of brush that needs to be cut down so more people can fit on crowded days. Only positive things are there's plenty of bathrooms and the ponds look nice.

Sites were okay except for the rocks you had to climb to hook up RV utilities. There were also lots of bugs. Bring your long sewer hose or you may have to park at the end of your site. Don't bother trying to leave in the morning. We left our site at 6 am, pulled to the security shack and saw lines of cars in both the entrance and exit lanes. The security guard told us to pull to the right in front of the office so we did so thinking they would move cars. Forty five minutes later after asking the guard shack guy and the girls in the office to move cars so we could exit, I saw that we could have pulled around the back of the building. Did guard shack boy not know this? Then I was told security had to come but they were unlocking bathrooms. This is all while my 35' motorhome with attached tow sat there with people driving around it to get through. Finally security came moving almost as fast as my 100 year old grandma and tells me to be patient! For real, Barney Fife! Customer service is a joke. There's something really fishy about this place so we will not be returning!

Worst customer service. Refuse to let you know when it is stocked. They like to be able to charge people $20 to fish and you can get more action in your bathtub. I use to go here until they started refusing to let you know even what week they stock. Sure wish SANDIA Lakes would open again. SANDIA always lets you know every time they stock. They donโ€™t lie to you and play games when you call them about when they stock their lake. I will never spend $20 to fish where there are no fish ever again. Only a ISLETA Lake does this happen. Better off leaving town to go fishing the this dead lake with horrible customer service and very little to no shade.

Staff upfront very unfriendly, not willing to help. After a long travel from Texas just needed a spot for the night and they did not allow my van bus to stay because it "damages" the camp site , I don't understand that logic as it doesn't plug into any of their stuff and it's way less weight than a normal RV, please hire better people

Well, hubby and I came here from Killeen (Forthood) Texas to surprise his mother for his 80th birthday party. We chose this place, because it wasn't too far from her house. The grounds were very nice. The service and the people on the inside were very nice and knowledgeable and we got a buy 2 get 1 free meaning we got a day free๐Ÿ˜ Saturday, my husband his mother, daughter, brother in law, and his nephew in law all went fishing but one person caught two fish๐Ÿคฃ from the Brother-in-law, but he ended up giving it to mom.๐Ÿ˜Š And she wanted to cook them on sunday, but what she didn't know that we had a surprise for her!! ๐Ÿคฏ Thank you for the warm RV hospitality we had a great time until next time โค๏ธโœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ’ฏ

Was told that the fish were just restocked that morning. Was there with a party of 3 no one caught anything. Witnessed 2 other parties of 2 and an individual also not catch anything over the course of hours. Would not recommend.

Iโ€™ve taken my daughter fishing 4 times to Isleta Lakes in the last 2 months and we have done very well. Lots of bites and caught our limit twice. The catfish are decent size as well as two of them have been over 24 inches. Please keep up the regular stockings.

Nice place to park for a while after a week of dry camping. Fishing is included and youโ€™re a stones throw away from the lakes. The gravel sites donโ€™t have much gravel left but they are much nicer than the concrete pad sites. The gravel/dirt is very hard packed and provided great stability for our class A. The washers and on site showers were decent. Itโ€™s right next to the railroad tracks but the only trains we heard the three nights we stayed were the commuter trains in the morning. Even though itโ€™s very close to the interstate we didnโ€™t get much sound from it at night. Will definitely stay here again.

Prices are so high just to catch a cold nose. Get your fishing license and just try the nm lakes. They act like they donโ€™t he enough money .

Weekend get away. Camp had full hookup and paid extra for slab. Kinda pricy but family time was worth it! Caught a pretty decent trout. Loved the dog friendly atmosphere. We will be back.

Such a beautiful place! Free shuttle to the casino, fishing at the lakes right next to the RV park, quiet, and friendly staff too! You might even see some interesting birds. Also the dragon flies are trained to stay still so you can take pictures of them ๐Ÿ˜‰

Great for RVs and hosting events. Two lakes that provide a chance to catch trout, catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill. Fishing can be a miss but it's a scenic setting. The store at the front of the lakes has plenty of things you might need to fish or snack on. Beer is sold at this location.

Rv park and lake is very nice. But was very upset Saturday nite. Before confirmed my stay I specifically called to make sure I can use a propane fire pit. I was told was ok to use. But on Saturday nite manager had told security to come tell me I could not use it very nicely. I explained I had asked and asked to talke to manager qnd 5 minutes later security guard came and said manager said no and was clocking out and leaving home. I run a rv repair facility and if anyone asks to talk to the manager I talk to them, running a business it's only right to do. I have told alot people that came through for work on units to stay at that rv park but I will not ever send anyone there again. Not having a fire for family ruined my kids nite. Worse part it rained all afternoon we where in mud and puddles and fire dept even drove by and saw no danger to make use stop.

It was good, lots of places to fish from but I'm not sure on what baits to use, just try everything and hope for a catch.

It's alot different place now since the last time I had been there which in the early 1990's. It's well kept now, but it was a no catch not even a nibble in both of the lakes, also the other thing I have a little bit of a problem with is the families that have a bunch of kids that are not at all in the spirit of fishing but being in the destructive and running around stage with no supervision at all and that's not respecting others time of piece of mind or even enjoyment of the day fishing.

It's a very nice RV park you can have a concrete pad or gravel. Staff is friendly. It's has two nice man made lakes that are nice to take a walk around. The rail runner train has a stop right outside of the park that is very convenient if you want to take a ride to Santa Fe. The only down side is that they do not take reservations
