I passed by the store today (after hours) and the store was closed but the owner was inside and was kind enough to let me in and had so much patience as I was browsing and trying on many items. I ended up walking away with four authentic and quality Indian jewelry pieces at the best price point I’ve seen (visited over 10 stores between Santa Fe and Albuquerque). Definitely check it out if you are looking for turquoise and other Indian jewelry

I was in town for a few days and wanted to buy turquoise jewelry. I arrived and was greeted by Bill, Monte and doggie Luna. Having looked at other shops in Abq. & Santa Fe I was familiar with prices. I walked out with a beautiful men's turquoise cuff and (for my wife) Sleeping Beauty Turquoise bracelet, necklace and earrings. Monte was great telling who made each piece and where the stones originated. Next time I'm in Abq. I'll make another visit. I heard about Turquoise World and read about not being in the tourist zone. Monte is a trusted source for authentic items.

This is the place to go if you're looking for anything turquoise! I picked up three beautiful pairs of earrings that were all incredibly reasonably priced. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and everything was authentic and local! Skip touristy Old Town and opt for this place. I suggest calling ahead to see what the hours are/when the owner will be around. I'll be back again next time I'm in Albuquerque!

Hands down the only Turquoise store I wiIl ever need to go to. I have visited many turquoise jewelry stores along Route 66 and between Albuquerque and Gallup and none of them have the quality and the prices like TW and the gentleman that owns and operates the store is just so pleasant and kind and polite. I looked everywhere in Gallup for a turquoise cross and found nothing then came back here and there it was a large Zuni turquoise cross. Sterling Silver from a reputable artist and real turquoise $120. Wow what a find.

My wife and I have lived in New Mexico a little over a year. We divided this Christmas to buy some turquoise for some on our Christmas list. Being new to town and not sure where to go we did a search and decided on turquoise world. Monty was awesome, the collection of artists he has was wonderful and the prices were affordable for such quality work. Spectacular find!!! Monte was amazingly helpful & kind with a lot of knowledge about local artists and beyond. This shop has stood for over 30 years and is a local family business - you can't beat that for price or costumer service! There were many different price points within the shop, so do not hesitate to stop and check it out! I went to 4 in the area, only spent money here! Will always check in w Monte when we are in town!

I could live in this store. The selection is large and authentic with pieces from many different local artisans. Bill and Monte were friendly and accommodating and knew the history and origin of many items. I left with so much stuff and was able to do all my Christmas shopping for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
