This was the worst experience I've had in a health facility. When I arrived I was told the Wait would be 3 hours even though I had no warning of this online or over the phone when I called ahead. My afternoon plans were shot. After 1.5 hours I noticed that multiple people who came after me were called, I asked and was told they were there for other services and that there were two people ahead of me. At 2 hours waiting, about 12 more people were called so I asked again and was told my wait was supposed to be 4 hours. I said I was told 3. At the 2.5 hour mark I was called back, proceeded with urine and blood tests and noticed that my last name and social security number was incorrect on the paperwork. The person helping me said that the social security number didn't matter and that she would correct my name by writing it on the paper and having the front desk fix it "after you leave". I brought this up to the doctor once all tests were done under the wrong info. The doctor seemed to resolve the information but I won't know unless there is a problem with my results. The assistant changed the labeling on my urine test, not showing me the old labeling first to ensure it was mine. I was told the blood sample was fine and no new labeling was needed. A new job depends on these tests and I'm not confident my specimens are listed under the right person. Hopefully the person whose info was placed on my record was notified of this HIPPA violation since two forms of identification were shown to me, their last name and social security number. The employees here are working way to fast and as a result do not care about resolving quality/personal identity issues. Do not assume anything at this place and in fact avoid if at all possible.

Today, Monday, I had an appointment for 11:30am - to check my insect bites that I had been seen for on the previous Friday. I signed in before 11am and was told that I might not be seen before my appointment time. I noticed that many people who came in after me were being seen before me - they came and went. At 11:30 am, I went to the counter to ask and was told in a snippy tone that there was probably a room ready for me. After another 25 minutes of people being seen before me, I checked again. The person behind the counter seemed surprised that I had not been seen yet and told me I would be next. After another 10 minutes and several more people being taken back, I was finally called back. The person who took me back said that they always take "quick" appointments first - those who need a urine test or some kind of "quick" shot, etc. I thought my appointment was to be quick as well so this did not seem like a good explanation for why I was being put off. After another 30 minutes, a doctor finally came in to see me. After we dealt with my insect bites that had, in fact, become infected - I shared my frustration with the system or protocol that left me sitting while others were taken care of. The doctor told me that there are 2 paths - one that sees a doctor and the other that does not see a doctor. I found it interesting that the front desk did not explain that to me. Then the doctor told me there were 10 people waiting when the office opened at 8am which put them behind all day. This is a lousy excuse! It was after 2pm when I was finally able to leave. 3 hours is an unacceptable amount of time, given I had an appointment! My thinking is very simple. The fact that I had an appointment means that I should not have to wait for all the "walk-ins" to be seen before I am seen. Because I had an appointment, at 11:30, I should have been seen! The "walk-ins" could continue to be seen - after me. In all fairness to those who actually make an appointment, the system needs to be changed!

I walked in for drug screen and a physical. It took over an hour to complete my paper work, plus another 20 minutes to do link on phone. At this time I really really had to pee, so I went up and asked the lady who helped me. She said great your being called next. I was like great cool.. after seeing 7 other people getting called back this other lady said to me, you have to wait your turn, after the other lady next to her just told me 25 minutes prior I was up next. I understand being in turn I get that. But at this time out of everyone in the room I had been there the longest including 5 that went back in. I almost didn't make it, which I would have had to pee in other restroom and leave. Its all good but the other lady was very disrespectful with me. After I asked nicely twice

Way too many people in the waiting room with no masks in a healthcare facility is not only careless but ridiculous. I understand masks are optional any decent healthcare facility would impose them mandatory at the very least by their own staff. The wait was also too long for a simple drug screen and TB test, I waited almost 3 hours! Perhaps other locations are better than the one i used. Appointments would help alleviate the wait to separate the patients needs and expedite the process.

I went in for treatment for an injury I got at work. I've never had a doctor make me feel like it was my fault more. I don't know if she just thought I was faking it but wow. When I was being released to return to work the doctor wouldn't even listen to any of my concerns about returning to full duty. Huge surprise that my injury is still a huge issue. The only reason I gave a 2 star is because the physical therapists are the only good in that whole building. Concentra doesn't care about it's patients, they just want you to leave.

I wish I remembered the lady's name at the desk ! I enter the building by the look on her face she was overworked and stressed out highly ! She did not say hello, hi or anything to me. She was very aggressive in her tone as to why I was there? She would not let me specify what my visit was for. Before I knew it I was on my phone trying to log into your kiosks which "does not" work I hit submit it made me start over again !! At this point a nicer very nicer lady asked me Mr Edwards can I assist you in getting the information from you on your phone I said yes please so she tried it and it bounced her out as well off the kiosk of my phone !! She did it manually from her computer to get me logged in for my drug test.. I'm so glad that nice lady was there to save the day !! William Edwards

I walked up and handed them my papers they got me signed in multitasking and helping each other. They are team players. The nurse called me back to prep for the doctor. She was very professional and connected with me through conversation. You don't always get the connection with doctors or nurses. Then the doctor came in and I got the same experience. Overall they just took one extra step through connection. Keep up the great work Concentra your employees are wonderful.

Staff was friendly. A little slow but the place was packed. I was there to get a TB test. I assume to speed things up the nurse took me to what seemed like a nurses station and not a private room to administer the test. She has me stand directly in front of an unlocked computer screen that was on and open. She left the room for a few minutes so I glanced at the screen without touching anything. On the screen had the names and medical information of several other patients in the facility at the time. There was also paperwork for several patients left very visible on the counter next to where I was standing. I was happy with the way the test I took was handled however these major HIPPA violations made me very leery of this place for the future.

Although My ua was sent to the wrong location and late getting to its requester Joyce ( Supervisor) at the front desk was so diligently helpful, it was a true show of customer service, Something most people in New Mexico know nothing about. I was rude and probably a little bit out of line but she showed the upmost professionalism and handled my issue with poise and confidence. Thank you Joyce.

I was sent here for a respirator fit test through my employer. I waited maaaybe half an hour despite the place looking pretty busy. Once I got in the room and started speaking to the employees, it became very clear there's a divide between the nurses and their "help." I spoke with a friendly young woman who put a bag over my head and ran most of the test, then she filed her paperwork and escorted me to another room. I waited until the nurse practitioner showed up and she makes some comments about how the other woman has one job and can't even do it, just to find what she was looking for exactly where it should be. She conducted a brief physical and asked me all the same questions the previous woman asked before she left. The test went well enough, but it's disappointing to see this kind of dynamic between employees, especially coming from a superior. It contributes to a poor work environment and your patients/clients take notice when no communication takes place from one person to the next. Backhanded comments about other employees, subordinate or not, should be kept to ones self.

The doctor was very rude and short with me. She got mad because I asked a question. She walked out of the room and slammed the door behind her. That was the last I saw of her. Previously, I had injured my knee at work and she was the same doctor treating me for that and the whole time that I saw her she was rude. She cut me off of physical therapy and released me from care even though my knee had not healed. If I could give zero stars, I would. I do not recommend anyone go this this location.

My husband was there on 8/18, for a simple drug test, for a new job. My husband was told by a worker at front desk, it was going to be 15 minutes. 15 minutes turned into 3 hours waiting in waiting room. When my husband had to take a urine test, employees at concentra didnt advised him to drink water after sitting for 3 hours. They don't care!! All these comaints I reaD, nothing will be done.

I came to Concentra for a DOT physical. I arrived at Concentra before the office opened and was 11th in line. I waited in the waiting room for two hours before I was seen. All of the staff that I interacted with were courteous and knowledgeable and once I was seen by the doctor administering the physical it was over in short order. The office may merely have been overcrowded or the office was short staffed for such a long wait.

This was my first time at Concentra Urgent Care, and I was satisfied with my visit. I noticed it is very busy people are constantly going and coming, but the ladies do a good job getting people checked in and seen. The wait wasn't too bad I guess. The bathroom was very clean, which is a plus! Good job!

Long story short the Doctors are completely arrogant and dismissive. One of the Doctors is just completely rude, raises his voice and has no bedside manners. The other female Doctor yelled at me for not making a follow up appointment immediately after being seen. If I were dying this would be the last place I would go, and even then I think I might skip it.

Used this service for my work physical and blood work. As a walk-in, I did have to wait 2 hours to be seen, but the receptionist let me know right away and confirmed that my schedule would allow that. As soon as I was called everything went quickly and smoothly.

Front desk staff are courteous and helpful. The medical facility is filthy, there were urine stains all over the sink and the shared equipment to test eyesight and other medical procedures have not been cleaned or wipe down after each patient has used them. The provider I was assigned to was rude and abusive. She has long black/grey hair and is a short stature and older woman. She barked profusely at me and did not give clear directions for the physical. She obviously knows that the clients coming in have no recourse to speak up for themselves. Employers, send their employees to this area, and you are completely helpless under this system of power. I do not suggest going to this office.

Oh my gosh. I went in the other day and today for pre employment testing and they have the best staff! Janice, girl you are the BEST! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you! This is the second Concentra I've been to in the city and both have had excellent customer service. Thank you for everything!

Staff was awesome. Got there right when they opened for some pre-employment exams. Was checked right in and was out the door within the hour. They quickly move patients in and out of rooms.

The wait was not very long considering how many people they have to take care of. My doctor however, didn’t get that I don’t want to do acupuncture. I just want to continue with chiropractic and she said she won’t recommend it. So I have to go to a different facility which is OK but it’s much further away.

I went in for a pre-employment physical on a Tuesday. I had 4 people in front of me as I arrived around 7:55am before they opened. My physical included a blood test, visual/hearing test, spirometry test (lung function), EKG (heart), TB test, and physical movement test. I checked in around 8am and left around 10:45am. I was very pleased with the staff and speediness of the visit considering how much they had to complete for my pre-employment physical. The staff are very friendly and patient. Thank you!

Overall, my experience was positive. The employees were kind and helpful. The wait time was longer than expected, but the kindness made a difference. I would recommend increasing the speed of your IT/internet bandwidth. Request your cleaning crew to clean the patient room walls and baseboards. Recommend upgrading the waiting room televisions with larger televisions. The check-in counter needs a new design that would increase patient privacy, such as building a wall with four or five dividers with patient-serving windows. Also, recommend improving ways to assist visually impaired patients. Such as improving signage and having disposal Readers available for patients to complete their paperwork. Keep up the great work. Thank you 😊

I had to go for pre-employment screening today. I was very pleased with the services and the staff demonstrated excellent patient care skills. There was very little wait time especially for a walk in appointment. Having worked in an urgent care setting before I know this is not always possible. Great facility and great staff!

Too many people in waiting room.long wait time always a busy flow. No mask 😷., People come in sick no patient protection, over all was greeted by front desk .UA results transfer slow from concentra to employer may pass your time frame window talk to employer., Good luck!!

Every time I have had to go to Concentra the staff is very nice and professional. Concentra seems to be more of an Occupational Health Urgent Care rather than an Urgent Care that primarily deals with coke, etc. At times the wait can be a little long but they are extremely busy when this happens. Although it may be a long wait Concentra is still faster than most other Urgent Cares in the area.

Staff were rude, unprofessional, curt, and arrogant. They spoke in a very demeaning manner to patients. In addition, they don’t do a very good job in protecting patient privacy. As I was checking in and on subsequent discussions at the desk they had other patient medical information laying on the counter. I could easily see names, medical information and such of other patients. Lucky for those patients, I didn’t care to read them , but others may. I would not recommend this facility to any person. It is evident that the whole model of Concentra is to get as many people in , without regard to truly treating them. This definitely, would not be a primary facility and it is clear that people on go there for work related medical claims and testings. Horrible place .

I had to come in for a physical, which was required before I can start my job. The staff were friendly and very efficient. The staff got along among themselves. In fact, I am a hard stick and it took three nurses to find the right vein to draw blood. All three of them worked together to get the blood test for my paperwork. I was impressed by everyone.

I waited one hour just to get another appointment not seeing no Dr. And I was just scheduled for next appt. I had to keep asking the front when my appt was, all I was told was ok, I’m so sorry! Ladies are very rude and unprofessional at the front.

Although the staff was friendly and accommodating, they did my tb skin test incorrectly which ended up costing me a lot of money because my starting date for my new job got pushed a week. The reading facility could not complete the test because the girl injected the needle too deep instead of just under the skin. My employer recommended a chest X-ray to make sure I don’t have active tb 🙄 I told them the test was performed incorrectly and suggested the quantiferon titer instead bc I don’t have and never have had tb. Maybe this facility needs to retrain their employees or do away with the skin test all together if they do not know how to perform it.

So my visit was federally mandated so I view this visit as an inconvenience and an excuse to tie my phone number to another database. Concentra then wants me to set up an account for my convenience so I can log in and all my demographic information will be right there. Sorry Concentra - we're not buds. This is a one time. Federally mandated visit so you can handle the transaction to test my pee. I hope never to have to darken your doorstep ever again. So stop with this demographic collection process. Stop. NO

This place is very busy and non-stop. The staff seem overwhelmed and somewhat annoyed by customers/patients. I walked in and presented my requisition from my new employer and one of the front staff took a look at it and rolled her eyes and shook her head. The girl who took my form asked her if we could get my stuff done, and she replied no way that would take a full 3 hours and the providers would not do it. I spoke up and said that my employer says this needs done in 24hrs, she told the other girl to go ask the provider if they would still see me this late (I got there at 330pm and they close at 5pm). Thankfully the provider agreed to see me. I doubt the providers had a problem seeing me, it was just her probably thinking she would have to stay a little late this evening. By the way it only took a little over an hour. And there was a 3 other people still there when I left. The staff in the back that did the testing and the provider were all GREAT!! The girls at the front desk need to work on their customer service skills and also should be more respectful, courteous and thankful for customers.
