Don't go here unless you want your results lost! Without any explanations except “it happens all the time “??? I have never had my results lost, and how scary is that? This facility had a duty to take care of me by being competent, and ensuring test results were sent to appropriate parties. The facility was negligent and did not meet their responsibility toward me. Their remedy was for me to go back in and do more tests. Why so they can lose them a second time? No thank you!

Several issues and balls dropped. I brought a list of symptoms with me so that I could keep everything straight, but nurse I saw kept interrupting me. I was tested for strep in house and it was also sent out for more sensitive testing. No one ever called me with the results. I couldn’t call the office, because my tonsils were so swollen and painful, but I was able to see some of the results on the patient portal. It was updated once with the in house testing showing a negative result for strep. I checked back a few more times with no new info, but I did notice several errors on my chart. I finally sent a message through the portal asking about the missing results and the errors in my chart. I received a call that I got through, despite the pain to talk, and was informed that the strep test that was sent out came back positive. I was seen 4 days ago and was never informed. They put antibiotics on hold for me in case it came back positive, but then failed to inform me that it came back positive. I could have started the antibiotics days ago. I understand our healthcare system is under a lot of strain right now, but I cannot recommend this urgent care.

Do not go here if you aren't prepared to be billed thousands of dollars for a 5 minute visit. I went in for a simple strep test and later got a bill in the mail for $2,400. Even though they took my insurance information, they sent my labs to an out of network lab resulting in the above total. I have been trying to get this taken care of since March, 2022. I called and spoke to Amber who was very empathetic over the phone. She asked me to email her the details of my bill, which I did the same day and then I never heard from her again. I emailed twice and called back 2 more times and never was able to get a hold of her again. Staff was rude when I asked them to take a message and I am still dealing with this 6 months later. I'm still in disbelief that this is acceptable behavior.

Very quick and respectful. Very much UNLIKE another local clinic I visited recently where another patient also felt so disrespected we ended up hugging in the parking lot. We are both nurses. My drive time was doubled to get to this clinic. Will most certainly be back for the standard sports physical for my kids and any other emergent needs at this clinic. Very caring people.

I did not have a good experience here. I saw the provider with a cough that hadn’t gone away. Before even listening to my lungs she told me “You’re fine!” and sent me on my way with some cough suppressant. I went to Duke City instead to see a different provider who ordered a chest x ray - turned out I had pneumonia. So much for “you’re fine!”

Most urgent care facilities in Albuquerque are very busy, which makes the wait times insurmountable. This place was efficient and provided me with excellent medical care. The whole thing took 45 minutes, which is amazing!

I had a great experience here. I was seen quickly as a walk-in, the provider and staff were lovely (dealing very kindly with my needle anxiety), and I got good guidance about how to care for the issue going forward. Obviously a day you need to go to the urgent care isn’t usually a great day, but they definitely helped make it smoother and less stressful.

In and out quickly. Appropriate treatment, so far as I can tell. Only frustration was "registering" online. It was my second recent visit and problems with that aspect of it both times. Have friends that have had same issue, so don't feel like it's completely my fault. Person at desk willing to help with it, but email didn't come through until after I left office. Front desk staff could've been more understanding about it instead of making me feel like it was my fault. Overall, very good experience.

Staff in front desk were very courteous and professional. NP and Medical assistant/Nurse were unprofessional. Was not checked thoroughly or properly. NP did not have interest in completing an exam and was suggesting allergies, Acid reflux, many other issues that were not related to my pain. Very dismissive. Was prescribed medication antibiotics but was not a pleasant experience. NP was rude and I was very uncomfortable being seen by her. Will Never go to this location again. I was treated very poorly.

I had to put one star to be able to leave a review-they definitely DO NOT deserve the one star. This is NOT A WALK-IN CLINIC. Upon arrival, nobody was in the lobby. I was told I would have to schedule an appointment and return later, because they're booked with appointments. False advertising is illegal. If you don't accept walk-in patients yet you advertise that you're a walk-in clinic that is false advertising and it is illegal. Never waste your time trying to be seen at this clinic. It USED to be a great place, in the last year it has significantly declined.

billed over $300 for less than 5 minute vist I had to wait 20 minutes. had given insurance info but insurance was never billed. called over 6 times and only get a leave a message which no one returns the call. dont use this service ,it is a money rip off business. as a retired doc this is one of the worse out there.

Disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews. We took our baby here to be evaluated because her breathing was worrying us. The gentleman at the front desk greeted us in a very rushed, agitated manner. The older female doctor who saw us had perfume far too strong, and from the moment she came in seemed convinced our baby was fine without showing any real care of our concerns. Fast forward to later that afternoon when we had to call 911 and go to UNM pediatric emergency room for RSV and our baby was put on oxygen.

We were able to get a same day appointment for an acute infection. We were in the (not crowed) waiting room for less than 5 minutes, which is unheard of! The front desk staff were kind, interactive & professional. Diane, the provider we saw, was equally as wonderful. She followed up with us regarding test results with a personal phone call. even the MA we saw was great! We are thankful to everyone there for quick, thorough and compassionate care.

I was here visiting my son from KC area. This urgent care was very close to my son’s apartment. Roxanne and Trivia took care of me today. Wait time was very short and the clinic was well organized and clean. Roxanne was very patient and explained everything to me throughly. This was such a good experience for urgent care and the time the clinical staff and front desk took to help me and make me feel better was very appreciated. Highly recommend them. And hopefully you are lucky enough to get Roxanne and Trivia to take care of you.

Walked in, no appointment. From the front desk to the nurse practitioner, they were very nice and helpful. Got my diagnosis and, in less than an hour, I was out of there. Very impressed!

Drove here from Rio Rancho since they offered appointment times on the weekend. Got in early, was done in 20 minutes. The doc had a great sense of humor to lighten the mood and they even called two days later to check in on me! Highly recommend!

A great experience! I came in for gout with no prior appointment. Was seen rapidly after a 35 min wait. Got the prescription. 5/5, would come again.

Booked the appointment online and was seen quickly. Super friendly and helpful staff. Doctor was knowledgeable, supportive and caring. Will definitely be going back for sports/camp physicals too.

Diana Kaufman went out of her way to help meet my needs. I didn’t ask her to and was willing to go elsewhere, but she insisted I let her try a few other ways and sure enough, she totally came through and helped me with what I needed. Thank you so much, Dr. Kaufman. Also, I’ve been to this facility several times and it’s always clean and pleasant with friendly staff.

The Dr here scared me into going to an ER for stitches. The ER doctor told me I could have glued my injury without issues. Visiting this urgent care is probably going to end up costing me thousands on account of shuttling me into a hospital. The nurse was good.

Hours are great for those of us that are only functional in the evenings (looking at you fellow ADHD'ers). I hate going to the doctor but my experience here was awesome- check in super easy, everyone there was SO nice and helpful and generally just really good people. This place is a very pretty, clean, quiet, updated facility. (It has quite a cool view with tons of natural light) It is also ADA accessable as there is an elevator. My neurodivergent a$$ was happy.

This was such a disappointment. The reviews are so great but I can't understand why my experience was so different. I brought my son in with an ear infection, made our appointment online for 8:30 we arrived as the first Pacient in the lobby and we were told the provider will not be in until 9, then we were called back 3rd . The MA at the front desk was very cold and rude in the way she treated all the sick people who came in including me. There were not enough chairs for people to sit in the lobby when a woman asked the MA rolled her eyes and walked off she did get the woman a chair and told me when she took me back sorry there's not a chair in here for you to sit you can thank the woman out there for that. So un professional. The Dr. Was quick but Thorough.

They had very good bed side manners. They all really cared about what I went in there for. Very caring and thoughtful from the receptionist to the provider. Thank you all so much for the care you gave me.

Terrible visit! Unhelpful receptionist and long wait due to “paperless” office which entailed having to register and sign forms online that were sent AFTER our appointment. Prescriptions were sent to the wrong pharmacy! Seeing a “doctor “ is a misnomer. We were seen by a nurse practitioner who was referred to as a doctor. She was competent, however, but we won’t return.

The staff were all very kind and helpful. ...and I got a prescription for antibiotics after basic vitals and general listening and touching. I leave 4 instead of 5 because my scripts went to wrong pharmacy and with ear infection and pain associated I end up driving to 3 Walgreens to get the stuff.

Service was excellent by two front desk people. Especially PCP, Fairoz Radtke, P.A. She was most competent, superb interpersonal skills, and diagnosis skills. She took extra time answering my questions. I would highly recommend ABQ urgent care walk-in clinic.

What an amazing experience I had at this Urgent Care. The entire staff was so friendly, professional and fun to be around. They turned my frown upside down in no time! The care and concern they provided me was top-notch! I would recommend this urgent care to anyone and everyone, and unfortunately, I’ve been to a few Urgent Cares in the past 2 years. This is the first review I’ve ever taken the time to submit.

I got an appointment 30 minutes after I called and was in a treatment room at my exact appointment time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Best of all they fixed my finger quickly. This is now my first choice for urgent care.

I was not pleased with my visit. First, I overheard the NP and the MA joking in the hallway about how ridiculous it was that I wasn't tested for COVID before I arrived. During check-in, I explained to the MA that a nurse cleared me via the COVID hotline after I explained my symptoms and the OTC meds and regimen I followed for the past week or so. I also told her that my COVID home test was negative. Second, The NP told me that my vitals and everything were great. I explained that I felt terrible, nothing had been working and that I am prone to sinus infections and believed I needed antibiotics. Jason (NP) then told me that he had been "disappointing people" because he had seen no cause for antibiotics for so many. I asked as many questions as I could to be certain that he saw no cause for antibiotics. He said I was fine and let me go. Overnight, my previous symptoms worsened and I had new symptoms. I felt terrible the next morning. I took meds to treat my symptoms until I could be seen by my regular Urgent care doc. I met with her via telehealth and she prescribed me antibiotics. My symptoms started to improve after a couple days, but it took 7 days for me to feel a little "better." Long story short, she had to prescribe a stronger antibiotic for an additional 7 days bc of the infection. I was out of work for 2 weeks and didn't start feeling back to normal until a little over three. I tried to explain to Jason that I had the same symptoms as my last infection which was years ago (2017), but he dismissed my concerns and was pretty condescending in my opinion. I understand that people can become resistant to antibiotics if they're taken too much, BUT that wasn't the case for me. I don't understand how he saw NOTHING during his exam and I clearly had a serious issue. The stuff that came out of my head was disgusting (of course). I will not be returning to this facility. The only reason I went was because I couldn't be seen at my regular urgent care until 2 days later and I knew something was going on. My visit here was a waste of time and I'm glad I was able to get the help I needed elsewhere.

Reception was very friendly & offered me an appointment immediately. I wish I could have completed the paperwork on computer before driving over & having to do it long hand. The nurse & PA I saw were quick to reassure & treated me appropriately.

Had an asthma attack and the other urgent care in town had a wait over 4 hrs long. So my daughter found ABQ Urgent care. They was able to get me in and give me treatment within 30 minutes. The only drawback is setting up the electronic paperwork. The staff was great and reassuring. Thank you so much!!

I needed to have a COVID test for the second time at this clinic. Everyone there was friendly and professional. The nurse practitioner suggested they test me for strep also because I had a sore throat. She also gave me a med to feel better. I appreciated their help very much. Both tests were negative though I have a doozy of a cold.

My experience at Albuquerque Urgent Care was great, I was seen quickly by friendly staff, and got my questions answered, and they sent in my medications very quickly so I got to pick them up the same day which was awesome. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful, and the visit was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place!

I was so happy to find an Urgent care opened on Sunday. I called a few times with questions and each time I received good telephone etiquette and it was a real person I spoke with. I was seen quickly, diagnosed quickly and received my meds quickly with kindness. I'm feeling like a new person today. Thank you

I called late at night and was able to get the first appointment early the next morning. They were professional, understanding, and very fast. They had me out within 45 minutes with my prescription. These people know what they’re doing, highly recommended this clinic for any urgent care needs!

  • 5/5 J J. 1 year ago on Google
Not a very long wait. (About 20 minutes, and I seemed to be the only person there besides staff.) They asked what I hoped to accomplish there and then made sure that request was met. They suggested I go to a specific place at another clinic, to get another more thorough procedure done in about a week, so when I left I scheduled that. Everyone was courteous, the office was clean, and they took my insurances. I was pleased.

I’ve been here before and this urgent care is by far the best. They nurse was very funny yet professional. However the humor put me at ease. The Dr was accurate and thorough. My experience today was pleasant and always has been. Thank you guys for being awesome!

😠 They charge you hundreds of dollars for prenatal care. My insurance will pay 100% of prenatal visits (thanks to aca) but they refuse to bill it this way.
