I've attempted to call and cancel my appointment for the past five business days and each time I get "we're sorry, due to the high number of calls we can't take your call right now try again later". Thank goodness I'm trying to cancel an appointment not trying to make one or I'd be more appalled.

I have just got to share this experience! I went to the Dental clinic for my cleaning. Throughout the entire cleaning, I kept thinking: "Hmmm, I don't remember having that procedure done before." Over the course of approximately 30 minutes, I felt very surprised at what was being done. Why? Because it was the absolute best cleaning I ever had!! I asked, "How long have you been doing this?" The answer: "I just graduated." Let me say this in closing: Brittany was the most thorough, careful, and gentle cleaning technician I have EVER had!! I am 75 years old and have had this done many times in my life, but never, ever, this well done!! She is truly dedicated and amazing...like a " tooth cleaning surgeon!" Actually, this is the BEST place for any dental need!! Dr. Braun is SO great, and all the employees are friendly and helpful. Even the girls in the billing department are really nice and helpful!! I highly recommend this dental clinic. And, kudos to Brittany!! Well done young cleaning surgeon!!!

I had a scheduled appointment for over TWO months for medical issues that had not been addressed. Upon the day of my appointment, they did not call or update me about my appointment, and did not answer MY calls when I tried to reach out as to why. I finally got ahold of someone four phone calls later, four DAYS later- and they told they called when I have proof they did not. Now they are unable to schedule me until the end of April. This has significantly impeded my health and recovery, and the failure to own up to the mistake or apologize is apparent. Find somewhere else, this place doesn't care about you

Dr. Monthan was absolutely appalling on the phone today. Rather than discuss my husband's bloodwork, provide a referral to a rheumatologist, or discuss medication options such as steroidal anti-inflammatories, she scolded him about his drinking. Far from being simply unhelpful, she was actively rude, dismissive, and demeaning. When there was some sort of technical issue and the call dropped, she did not call back. I am aware that healthcare workers are under a lot of strain at the moment and I respect the work that the vast majority of them do. However, there is no excuse for behavior Dr. Monthan exhibited today. After waiting a month to see someone about this RA flare-up, we are beyond disappointed by our experience. This institution seems completely incapable of treating anything other than addiction issues, and I somehow doubt they can even manage to treat those with any compassion. If you suffer from any kind of pain, such as that associated with rheumatoid arthritis, be prepared to be treated as though you're seeking opiates. I suggest you seek care elsewhere. UPDATE: Clinic did at least call back the next day to provide work excuse note. So, they did manage to do one thing right.

I'm usually amazed and pleased at the skill and professionalism of the people at the First Choice/South Valley dental clinic. While I don't look forward _gleefully_ to my visits, they're all friendly and work hard to change the 'anguish' into something close to 'alert relaxation.' (They're great, really!) Today's, 3Mar22, visit was just diagnostic. No procaine, and no power tools at all. But I'll be back a few times later this spring. I'm sure I'll be happy. But, ah, ask me again in a couple months. 8-)

The only issue troubling me today was a need to have my top partial adjusted . When I was in last week, the Novocaine was preventing me from feeling what needed to be tweaked to let the partial seat properly. I went in as a walk-in, and due to a cancelation Dr. Reisenberger was able to see me. Like everyone else I have seen, he was very efficient and took care of my problem in a short time, and fixed me right up. I am so very grateful to First Choice Dental for such terrific dental care. Compliments and thanks to everyone! And I didn't even have to wait very long at all!!

I am a 62 year old woman who has had multiple dental experiences over the years which have caused me great anxiety. Shirlena Waters, DDS and the numerous dental assistants are outstanding! Everything was thoroughly explained to me before and during my dental work. They even checked in with me; re: my comfort level on several occasions...no anxiety! I'd be remiss if I didn't give kudos and a shout out to the staff at check-in! Everyone here delivers a patient-centered experience!

Needing major dental care and a referral from a friend. I made an appointment for my first time. The access was great, plenty of parking and what seemed to me, to a fairly new building. I was very impressed, the staff was great. I was well informed from the start, my appointment was right on time. I met my dentist and she was great. The Best Dental hands !! I have always put off my dental needs, due to a couple of bad, experiences ! But Never Again ! The prices are great, I had several teeth pulled. I was impressed from start to finish. Did I mention the Price was great. I was treated great, the staff was great. I'm a patient for life !!! Thank GOD my friend gave me the best referral EVER !!! Best Dental Experience EVER !!! Worth checking out, for Sure !!!

I have been a patient here for a few years, usually had just okay experiences but as of this week, I am beyond disappointed in the "service that is provided"... I came on Tuesday for a bad knee injury and was referred to get xrays done so I did so the same day. I was told at the place I did xrays I would get results in 1-2 days... well day 3 and I had to call the place I got xrays done and they said they sent results to FCCH so I would have to contact them. I did so and was told that me as the patient was supposed to let FCCH know I went and got the xrays taken... No one ever told me that or I would have but I don't see how thats my responsibility if these facilities would keep up communication about their patients that would be nice but no... So I'm now on day 3, walking and having really bad pain in my knee. I am not happy at all and still don't know what is really going on with my knee.

Dr. Mark Brum is the best dentist I've ever been to, and I've been to dentists all over the world. He is kind, and he really listens to all my questions or worries. He is the only dentist I've ever been to who does not hurt when he gives those numbing shots. I would recommend him without reservation for anyone! Also, the whole staff at this clinic is very professional, and very nice to me every time I've ever been there.

I have been rescheduled for a simple appointment 4 times for various “emergencies” by Dr Cassie Fairchild. I’m not sure what her life looks like but I need my medicine and they don’t seem concerned at all. When I call to make an appointment I’m on hold for at least 5 minutes, usually for about 10. Do with that what you will.

05/16/22 I had an appt to get my wisdom tooth removed and i was already in extreme pain. My Dr. Didnt show up but thankfully one of the ladies upfront was able to squeeze me with Dr. Riesenberger. I did have to wait a little longer but it was ok i know they’re all trying to do their best. Ana, who i believe is the assistant, was so sweet and explained everything throughly. Dr. Riesenberger got to the point and took my tooth out in less than 5mins. They both did a wonderful job and thanks to the ladies upfront!

I love the care and the dentist and the staff there that I have gotten work done with. They are very kind and explain the procedures in ways you can understand and give you all your options. They also don’t mind letting you know the pricing and your options there too.

Great place!! My dentist couldn’t fit me in to pull abscessed tooth for 6 weeks and I have both lupus and RA. I needed it pulled after antibiotics, otherwise it would certainly put me in a health flare with the infection and antibiotics. Arrived as a walk in patient early morning. Excellent staff all around! Had tooth extracted. Recommend S. Valley Dental Clinic!! Appreciate their diligent work!

Been on hold for over an hour and still can't talk to someone. Went online and yeah that didn't help. This place sucks

The staff here is fine. Getting the scheduling line to answer is another story. You will be calling for 20+ minutes trying to get in. The dr I used to have was always booked out for months, but that’s how it goes anywhere now a days. My family switched to Presbyterian because it is easier to get ahold of someone for an appointment.

I like the place, but, its Christmas day, and the filling that I have had filled their THREE TIMES has fallen out, yet again. Correction, 3 trips, filled twice..this wil be the third. Pretty frustrated. I'll update, but as for now, though I like the Staff, very kind, and the place looks clean and well maintained, cant say 3 fillings in the same spot is exactly encouraging. I looked up other places, but this place HAS good reviews, so..one more shot. Ill keep folks updated.

Dr. Waters is very thorough and seems extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Having work done here without insurance is affordable, and I have had a better experience here than any dentist I have been to in my life. From the time I had my checkup it took about 2 months to get an appointment for a filling, so they are busy. I have also come in for an emergency extraction and the wait was reasonable.

I had all my children who were scheduled at this place and as time went by I've noticed that it's been harder for me to get appointments because no one picks up and the appointments I do get schedule get rescheduled because the doctor isn't available. I noticed that when I was there to get checked in the receptionist aren't doing anything and it takes them awhile to get to you even though there's like five. I am so fed up with the fact that they aren't doing their jobs to get people schedules and that this needs to be addressed because people are having to miss their appointments. These reviews aren't being addressed to anybody so if that is the issue then the only way to resolve this is to go to the board of directors or talk to someone higher up maybe put in an investigation as to why these people aren't doing their job. This isn't a short-term issue it's been a long-term issue for a while.

I am absolutely pleased with this Dental Center! Many thanks to the great staff and especially to Laura Pauwels, DDS for her focused efforts to do quality dental work. Can't wait for this mask thing to be over so I can share my new smile:)

Every one there are extremely nice, very efficient and organized. The doctor repaired my chipped front tooth, it looks great. I have also had a root canal, and fillings, all worked out great. they are saving my teeth one by one.

I have always been treated wonderfully by everyone at First Choice in the dental department. Starting with the front desk staff, the dentists and their assistants. Everyone is so nice and competent. Highly recommend to everyone.

Dr ÁVILA , provided a though evaluation in my mouth regarding the LOSS of my filling. Treated the tooth in EXTREEM professionalism, explains step by step what he was doing in the process. He addressed the issue of teeth grinding, suggesting a night guard. I’m very pleased.
