Do not recommend at all. I was very let down with service and food. I was thrown off when I heard worker use a microwave. I watched them prepare my sandwich and she literally heated up chicken in microwave, she also used microwave to heat up pita bread. (The disrespect to the culture) I couldn’t believe this. The food is premade some where else. Portions are very small and cold. I also ordered baklava and I got a very small piece for $2 Costco baklava was better tasting this one. Don’t buy food here great places to grocery shop but not eat reheated premade food from god knows where.

This place was so tasty. And the attached grocery store has some hard-to-find goodies, too. I need to go back. My friends got this spinach and cheese pastry that looked really good.

I love cozy places. The food is always way better than large places. The staff here is so welcoming and nice. Food was great! Prices were very affordable. I recommend totally! They are on east side of the street across from the gas station near the Dickey's BBQ. Very worth it! I ordered like a fattie and still didn't break the bank

Awesome grocery store, with everything could want when you are cooking Middle Eastern cuisine. But you must visit their deli. Expansive menu, with traditional pita sandwiches, falafel, myriad salads, and delicious pastries. Way too much to mention! Everything we had was delicious, and very affordable for these times. Friendly staff, and a clean establishment. This is a must-stop experience...

Mullah stands out there among all the employees since he is very kind, smiling, friendly, and welcoming and always makes me feel at home. This is mainly and simply a Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European grocery store with a Huge selection, but their take out food is Excellent. The chicken schwarma plate is possibly my favorite of anywhere in Albuquerque, among several other Very good ones.

This is our go-to Mediterranean spot! Delicious, very consistent and can’t beat the prices. Nicest people too. 👌🏼 NOTE: this is a prepared foods/takeout counter only — no tables inside to eat (it’s a middle eastern grocery). Baba ghanoush, dolmas and chicken shawarma platter seen here but everything we’ve tried on the menu has been solid. Give them a try!

I've been shopping at Cafe Istanbul for years (since they were at their other location), and I absolutely love it. I come here to get the products I can't find in the large grocery chains. The owner (?) and his family have always been friendly and make every visit worthwhile. I enjoy taking people in there who haven't heard of it. Always recommended.

The staff was extremely friendly. I didn’t know what I wanted but the man and woman at the counter recommended two sandwiches. The gyro is one of the best gyros I’ve had in town. The other sandwich was also bliss. While waiting for my food to be freshly cooked I looked around the store and there was so many amazing items that I want to try next. The gentleman at the register even threw in a dessert for me. I will definitely be returning before work after work and heck I might even take a break from work and come down. Thank you guys you’re truly amazing.

I love the Greek salad. They give you two dolmas and an array of fermented peppers as well as olives, tomato, and feta cheese. Also, the hummus platter and sandwich are excellent and the gyro platter. The salad, especially, and food in general are always fresh. The place is clean, and the owner and employees are always appreciative and friendly. The prices are affordable, and I believe they are constructing a dining room now for their patrons. There's plenty of products to look at or buy in their grocery store.

Sorry it took me so long to rate you guys! Been going here for years. Great family-run business. Delicious kibbeh and baklava. Wonderful selection of Middle-Eastern groceries. Couldn't recommend more confidently! Pic is hummus made from their chickpeas, along with Marmarabirlik olives.

It's a blessing to have this place so close to home. Their fresh food is unbeatable and I love trying the wide variety of grocery items as well. I've been there many times and each visit is better than the last

This place has great freshly made food. The falafel and hummus was delicious! I'd love to try their sandwiches... Very friendly service. Not to mention all the awesome groceries they have, with many pickled items including stuffed eggplant 😋

I always love coming here . There’s so many foods to pick from. I always get my dried figs, my Filo dough, and my Greek pasta here. I love their pistachio baklava. They have great feta cheese and olives. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a whole world of Mediterranean delicacies!

Great for take out. No tables for dining in. It was annoying that they had available product (spinach pies) in the display that they refused to sell. And then served baba ganough without enough pita to eat the food. Serving siexes were okay. Baklava selection was good. Overall Disappointing for dining.... Won't make the trip back to eat here. If I ever need Mediterranean groceries they have a great selection.

Delicious food!!! Pick up only. Amazing assortment of goods for sale too- from many areas of the world. I got the lunch special which was about $9 total with tax. You pick a sandwich and a drink and a dessert (Turkish delight or baklava), and it also comes with dolmas. Very inexpensive! The falafel sandwich is amazing.

I go for the dalmas (rice wrapped in grape leaves, if you like pickles, you'll like these) and bread pies. Really tasty.

We stumbled across this little gem a few weeks ago and we are hooked! Great middle eastern food and the owners are so friendly. It's more of a specialty deli with hot and cold food than a restaurant (there is no place to sit down). There is also a specialty market there with unique and amazing goods. We especially enjoy the hummus. So far, everything we tried has been excellent.

Variety is amazing and majority can't be found anywhere nearby. Small space but you could spend an entire afternoon here and still have so much more to see when you return.

Got the chicken shawarma platter, it was really tasty and had a great portion size.

First time here. I came for the Bulgarian feta, available by the pound. I bought a half pound for under $5. It's so good. I'll never buy feta in the grocery chains again. I'll be back.

One of the best Middle Eastern food establishments in ABQ. Service is fast, prices are low, quality is top. I only wish there was space to eat inside or outside but it is takeout only as this is primarily a grocery store. That said, the food is so good I order ahead, it's ready when I get there and I take it home or go to a nearby park and eat if I have other errands to run while in town.
