I discovered this place a couple of years ago, when I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott, scouting for a place to live in ABQ. We wandered across the parking lot because of the limited breakfast options at the hotel... and we were absolutely blown away by our experience. Marigold Cafe looks, perhaps, unassuming from the outside, but once you taste their food, you will understand that these people truly know how to make a delicious meal. That first time there, my partner and I both chose what is our favorite morning meal of all time--breakfast burritos: with bacon, smothered in xmas chile (both green and red chile, for the out of towners πŸ™‚), and, ever since, we have been hard pressed to order anything besides these smothered wonders. The burrito contains an ample portion fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, and the most heavenly "Marigold hashbrowns." I can't overstate how good these hashbrowns are, both in terms of interesting flavor and texture, as they are perfectly soft in the center with an outside that stays crispy inside the burrito, even until the last bites. Lunch has tasty options, like the Tikka Mac n Cheese and the burgers, though I've mostly eaten here for breakfast. They also make a delicious chai tea latte, that tastes like it comes from a homemade blend, and the pastries are beautiful. I've been told that their Huevos Rancheros are quite tasty, but my first love will always be that burrito. Further, customer service has always been exceptionally friendly, including from individuals I suspect may be the owners/managers. Needless to say, we have been back many times, and it is the one non-negotiable stop when my out-of-town partner comes to visit. Check it out, and I hope you'll fall in love with this charming cafe like we have.

I came to travel with family and found this diamond in the ruff. And previously I had gone to a restaurant near the city and the food was really bad so I honestly had to risk it . But I was very surprised to see that this place marigold cafe was amazing πŸ‘ the food was fresh and arrived ro the table quick and so let me tell u about the food. I had a cinnamon cardimon latte which was amazing! I highly recommend it. πŸ‘Œ also we ordered a bunch of huevos rancheros with either avocado, bacon or sausage. They serve them on a bed of tortillas. With either green or red hot sauce. So both are spicy but the green sauce is similar to a molcajete salsa, and the red is with dry red chili. And both are amazing for my liking. Family thought it was a bit too spicy so if spice isn't your thing . Best to get it on the side. Which is what some of us did. You can add it to your plate little by little or dump it all to ur liking. Flavor for this dish 10/10. I also ordered a sausage burrito, which comes with a side of sauce . Didn't have hashbrowns inside thr burrito. Though, I thought I read it on the menu. But ordered a side of hash so we had it like that. No worries. Then I had the south west chicken salad. And that salad was bomb! Salad was fresh. Dressing was just about enough. And I added some avocado to it. So flavorful! We got regular coffee and orange juice, and a mocha latte. Good drinks. For desert we ordered a chocolate eclair, and cherry strudel. πŸ’ oh it was good. Yuuup. I recommend this place 1000 percent. Staff is busy but friendly. And they bring out any thing u request asap. Thanks.

I stop at this cafe every couple of weeks when I’m in the area, and always get a chai - it’s always delicious! Their breakfast options and their desserts are fantastic, for a very reasonable price! All staff are very welcoming and attentive, and their small outdoor patio is great on a nice day.

This cute little joint right next to Cabela's was AMAZING, don't skip the fried cauliflower and green chili curry tacos....BOMB!!! Oh and the cute little Marigold hash browns are like simomas fritters. The rice was delicate and flavorful and Naan homemade yummmmmmmm. We got the vegan cardamom chai and WOW flavor explosion!!! We will be back!!!

Marigold cafe in Albuquerque is AMAZING! Great atmosphere, smart and helpful staff with incredible food. Always grateful for the chance to eat here with friends, family or by myself. Great alternative place to work too - spent a week getting coffee and working from a booth.

What a diamond in the rough! Located in what appears to be an industrial / strip mall area, flanked by freeways on two sides, it surprises with its cleanliness and authenticity. A beautiful sunset mural filling one wall sets the tone, and lotus flower light installations hint at the East Indian influence on the menu. As for the food, this place has it all, as long as you're not looking for dinner. (They close at 2:30 p.m.) It's a coffee shop with your full selection of lattes and cappuccinos. It's a breakfast joint with everything from avocado toast to huevos rancheros. (According to Google reviews, the breakfast burrito supposed to be especially good, which is how I found it.) They do burger lunches and soups and snacks reminiscent of bar food. But what really sets it apart is that hint of East Indian cuisine: The menu includes samosas, a chicken tikka masala bowl, and mango lassie, to name a few. That feels like a real find in a little breakfast joint like this. The service was excellent and friendly, and the food seems to be made from high quality, fresh ingredients. My meal needed a little salt and pepper, but was otherwise very good. If this place was just down the street, I could see becoming a staple. Too bad it's location is a bit inconvenient. Actually, that's not quite right; it's not inconvenient, it's just off the beaten path. The place is actually very easy to drive to, but I doubt many people will find it by walking or driving past the sign, which is a bit of a shame, because it's very worth the visit.

I have not had many breakfasts in Albuquerque but this was my best most tasty breakfast burrito anywhere in quite some time. Sausage and green Chile with the regular ingredients. It was delicious. Just the right spice/heat. I'll eat breakfast here again when in Albuquerque.

Marigold Salad with Chicken was excellent. Perfect spice to the chickpeas and chicken. Dressing was 10/10. Family liked their kids meal and avocado toast plates too! Lattes were true gourmet deliciousness.

Came here for the first time and it was amazing! I had the tacos with a twist, cauliflower and green Chile with marigold hash browns and coconut rice. The cafe building is really cool architect and has a warm friendly vibe inside. Plus the food is super yummy! I definitely recommend it and will come here again!

Food was fine. The Samosas had too much of an almost tempura-like batter. Lava fries were fine. Tikka Masala was good, but a little too sweet for me. Garlic Naan was 10 of 10, though. Will be back to try breakfast.

I was looking for a nice little place to have breakfast and stumbled upon Marigolds. Their burrito is uniquely good for an area where everyone has one. Eating my way through a cinnamon roll right now and once again delicious. If you need a break from the Blake's and the wecks in your area I highly recommend it

Vegan breakfast? You bet! They make a great breakfast taco. Not to big, not to small, and their own unique take on hash browns. They can sub eggs with tofu scramble. Decent coffee drinks.

Clean, pretty with a pleasant atmosphere. Order at the counter, nice patio. Delicious burger and a variety of other choices. Skip the onion petals. They're battered and have no real onion taste. I suspect they may be frozen.

Went there for lunch on a whim after I saw them online. Had the Chicken Pesto Panini with Onion Strips. The food was fresh and hot and came out very quick. Good service. And they don't skimp on the portions either. Very good value. Very tasty. I highly recommend.

I loved everything except green Chile strips which was over fried. The taste of other one is very good away so not taking away any stars for one bad day!
