New Mexico Piñon Coffee

Cafe Coffee roasters

👍👍 I order their coffee online and have it delivered to me out of town, they have free shipping on orders over a certain amount. I Love this coffee ! I order the beans whole so I can ground them fresh each morning for my coffee. I don’t like to drink anything else other than NM pinion coffee. People often mention coffee, service, beans, shop, good, favorite, great, told, Mexico,

During the Cov virus I tried purchasing a cup of coffee and a pastry. They would not sell because a didn't have a mask nor would provide one for me. The shop was full of customers eating and drinking with no masks.its a pretty small space. I was already in there the employee rather argue with with me then let me buy what I came for and get me out? I'd live to give NM local my business , but this left me bitter . Use to stop here all the time at various locations now I won't even by a bag of coffee from any retailer. Reality of it is they could've still sold me what I came for she just chose not to. Customer service? I guess it just depends on your appearance , color , gender.

I love my coffee and I know my coffee. It’s the one guilty pleasure I have to drink my honey lavender coffee. We went to piñon coffee on 4th street asked for a honey lavender latte. Go to the window and I received a regular lavender latte with none of the delicious purple whip cream. Tasted it and it was nasty. I kindly asked my husband to let them know it was a honey lavender latte. We hand them the cup back and 5 minutes later they hand me back the same coffee cup with just a dab of purple whip cream on top. We had already tipped them a big tip before we even realized what they did. Had a bad experience with their unsanitary unprofessionalism and laziness.

Fad. My wife and her friend visited and there was a lot of people telling them how awesome it is. I drink a lot of coffee black. No cream or sugar. This tastes like Starbucks black coffee, Which tastes like they burnt it 3 days ago, heated it in the microwave and then I drank it. Cafe du Monde is a good coffee if anyone is looking.

Their traditional blend is my hands-down favorite coffee. Great as a stand alone cup and delicious combined with other coffee blends. I often layer Starbuck’s Christmas blend with NM Piñon and it’s a great cup of morning joe. NM Piñon is a must-have staple in my kitchen; I even take it on vacay with me!

Had enormous clump of foreign material that could be bugs, machine oil, who knows. But is what they told me is "flavoring", despite not having gotten their hands on it. Along with multiple blends of coffee grounds, all clumped into a golf ball sized chunk. Was told to go try to return it where it was purchased. No real apology, nothing sent to try to mend bridges etc. Their coffee has gotten too expensive for bad service on top of that

I had it once while visiting a friend in New Mexico and now she sends it to me! I live in North Carolina and glad to have found it. Great coffee and it’s so tasty. Been drinking coffee a long time and never had anything like it.

New Mexico Pinon Coffee house on Alameda is our reward each Saturday morning after a good workout. The coffee is always so good and there are so many options. If you don't already have something in mind when you stop by, the friendly staff will help you find your next favorite. New Mexico Pinon Coffee is a true New Mexico treasure!

Absolutely love this coffee. If you’re looking for something extremely unique, this is the place.

This used to be a place I would pay more for coffee because it used to good and the customer service was good but I have to say after paying $105 for 2 bags of coffee that weren’t even ground right after being rudely told I couldn’t grind the coffee myself and that the lady behind the counter had to grind it I’m not sure I’ll be spending my money here anymore. It was almost like she thought I was gonna steal the coffee. She never even asked what grind I wanted just started grinding the coffee. Now my coffee looks like tea instead of coffee because she didn’t do a fine grind for my auto drip coffee maker. It’s a course grind and doesn’t taste right. What a waste of my hard earned money

I bought a 2 pound bag of pinion coffee beans as part of a hostess basket I was making. I told the recipient and the other guest how wonderful my memory of drinking this coffee when I lived in Ruidoso. Upon opening the bag we found the extremely dried beans that were a pale chalky color. Brewed the coffee hoping maybe I had forgotten how it looked. The coffee was not good, no mild pinion flavor at all. The coffee tasted old. Bad enough no one like the coffee, it was embarrassing and ruined the joy of giving it to a friend. I contacted the customer service and got a auto reply that they would get back to me as soon as possible. That has now been over a week ago. Very disappointed in the coffee and company.

New Mexico Piñon Coffee has been my go to since pre COVID. During COVID, they chose to do free shipping to local customers because we couldn't come in to their store or go to their coffee shop. Apparently, it was incredibly successful because they have kept free shipping for local buyers and have a rewards system if you're a frequent shopper. I chose them not only because they are a local business but because of how often they roast their beans. I will admit to being a coffee snob in so much that a fresher roast matters for a better bloom. Even trying a company that sourced it's coffee from around the world and claimed to roast it's coffee two weeks before shipping, I still wouldn't get a bloom like I do from NMPC. I do miss the Pistachio flavor. That was my favorite but as that's one of our top exports, I understand that it simply became too expensive. I strongly recommend them for all your coffee as they can be found in Smith's, online, and at their two locations.

So... I love NM pinon coffee.... But I'm honestly not sure why this place exists. It is not a coffee shop. You can buy bags of coffee but they are crazy expensive. I was told to go to Costco to get my coffee at a third of the price... I was like what? And I was told that they buy in bulk... And I was like... From you? Their coffee shops are amazing, but this place is just weird.

Wonderful customer service. The wrong product was delivered. They resent the correct item. Will definitely order from them again.

I am addicted to the piñon latte! Great flavor and not too sweet. Your barista team is always very friendly, too.

I love the lattes at NM Pinon and the bagged coffee is the BEST! I can make a delicious cup of coffee at home as well as get the same coffee at the various locations. The white chocolate pistachio latte is my favorite, it is great hot or cold!

NEW STORE! Pinion Coffeehouse has open a new location in Rio Rancho, complete with a drive-through and everything! Looks like they were lucky enough to take over a retired Starbucks location across from Intel, on Hwy 528 in Rio Rancho. Free coffee today, official opening tomorrow September 27, 2019.

Always a great place to stop for some yummy coffee to bring home. Depending on what time of year you go you can find a variety of flavors. You can also get some really great deals. They have some fun games, hand creams and other gifts around the shop too.

Perfect stop off for delicious coffee. Uniquely flavored, super friendly staff, a must for the local or even for us adventure travelers!

  • 1/5 Mollie G. 1 year ago on Google
Google advertises this location as having a drive through, it does not. You also cannot buy a cup of coffee here, only bags of coffee. Who has heard of a coffee shop not selling cups of coffee?

  • 5/5 Dani B. 2 years ago on Google
The shop is awesome! They have their coffees available in whole bean or ground in prepackaged bags or bulk; as well as coffee making tools, accessories and gifts. The customer service was amazing!

I went here serendipitously instead of the coffee house. It's their office (warehouse?) where they sell their coffee beans too. Picked up some cups for our office keurig, Mexican chocolate syrup flavoring and an adorable upcycled bag. Service was excellent. She had the right amount of caffeine: cheery, easy going, engaging. Store has the coolest "car desk."

They dont serve coffee 💔 But they do have a GREAT variety of whole beans to pour from

I absolutely love the coffee they roast here. It not only smells incredible when they roast it, but it tastes amazing. I completely recommend all of their coffee beans, but my absolute favorite is their coconut coffee. It has made other, former favorite, flavors and brands of coffee seem bland!

We only drink New Mexico Pinon Mexican Chocolate Coffee- I've been ordering their 5 lbs bags for a few years now. Nothing else comes close. Ruined me for other coffee.

Next trip to The Burque, I fully intend to visit this place, from where came the most aromatic and delightfully flavored coffee. Speedy shipping, great customer service. I recommend this coffee and this company to friends and family. They are always enticed by Adobe Morning and Biscochito. They have truly captured the flavors and cultures of this great diverse state.
