Use to be good went for a green apple smoothie. Instead I got a milk ice with apple and told that’s how it’s made. Doesn’t look like the picture. I got this before and it was thicker, green, and tasted of apple. Staff was nice but either they changed it, lied, or were running out of stuff. Either way not what was or still advertised as. Update( found old photo of when I first got it smooth, thick, and a green color)

Amazing!! My husband ordered the Java chip with coffee, it was the best Java chip we have ever had! I ordered the low carb vanilla shake with orange, I was prepared for a bland smoothie and boy, was I wrong! Can’t wait to go back and try all the flavors with this low carb smoothie. The little bean they add to the drinks on top is absolutely adorable and delicious !

This place is AMAZING! Bomb a** coffee and smoothies, also that free bean is worth a dealing with a nice, funny, respectful staff! I get looked at like a real "fuddyduddy" when I want some free water! But the people at the Human Bean have obviously seen someone in need of some hydration and hooked it up off top. Open more locations, yea?? - Paul R

2nd time I've been there in 2 weeks! Both drinks I've gotten have been great (caramel hazelnut mocha and java chip) and the customer service has been great. I absolutely love the little espresso beans they provide with my drink. I'm glad I have a coffee shop less than 10 minutes from my house. I plan on trying a different drink each time I go! Highly recommended! ☕

And got to try some coffee from here when we were ballooning nearby and was not very impressed, very similar to the burned coffee taste from Starbucks. nobody that went with us finished their coffees. Pretty small facility and it looked like they were quick to serve everybody that was there but I don't think we would come back

I've only ever had one drink from Human Bean but it's so good that it definitely warrants a 5 start review. The Java Chip Frappuccino type drink they have there is absolutely delicious. Its easily twice as good as any Frappuccino at Starbucks or Dutch bros, and I'm saying that as someone that used to go to Starbucks regularly. The Java chip at Human Bean is so good that even after ordering like 20 of them I can't bring myself to try anything else there because its just too good. Compare the ingredients Human Bean is using in their Frappuccinos, much higher quality at Human Bean. If you're craving a coffee version of a milkshake Human Bean is clearly the best. Pleasant staff there too.

I'm so excited to have a great drive thru coffee spot out in Westgate that isn't Starbucks. Got a cold brew and husband got a seasonal drink. Coffee was good, not charred, but need to go back to try hot coffee and other drinks. Service was nice, seemed to know their menu now. My only complaint is y'all should have a list of flavor options, there's none on the app (and we can't even order through it) or on the menu. Went around noon, so the wait time wasn't an issue either. Will update when I try again.

This was a great "homecoming" of sorts. I used to get beverages all the time from The Human Bean when I lived in Greeley, Colorado. (I even have a now obsolete punch card in my wallet to prove it) It's been two years since I've had my coffee with a cute little chocolate covered Espresso bean on top, and that wait came to an end today. The staff at the Albuquerque location was very friendly, and the drink (and the bean) brought back a ton of memories ❤️ They even gave me some stickers free of charge. Check out this gem of a coffee stand when you get a chance! My only complaint is that it's so far removed from the rest of Albuquerque, that it's virtually inaccessible unless you have a car. But well worth the trouble to get there, I can tell you that much!

Nice brand new small place. Customer service was on point- friendly and easy going. Ordered a small Breve latte. Half and half was over steamed, it was not nice creamy decadent micro-foam but rather almost like regular hot milk. Shots did not shine through either unfortunately.

3/2022: Will I visit The Human Bean again? Probably, if only to give it a second chance. The Human Bean is a drive thru only place, yet I noticed 2 wooden tables outside. Great customer service from the baristas who were very friendly and helpful, assisting me with my drink selection. I am not a coffee drinker but was craving hot chocolate or cocoa. I stated that I wanted the hot chocolate stirred and it was not. Also, it tasted more milky than chocolate so I wasn't impressed. In addition I believe the drink was made with 2% milk, not whole milk (of course it cut some of the additional calories). Giving 3.5 stars because of the smiling faces.

I forgot my wallet... got to the window and remembered I didn't have it so sad 😔... angry at myself Keith the owner insisted that I order and that he recognized me as being a regular... I'm there maybe 2x a month but I guess that's regular?, at any rate very thankful that they saved the day for me

Keep getting the wrong coffee. I ordered a regular coffee today with cream and sugar and they gave me some pumpkin spice. Was super bummed because I didn’t realize it until after I had already driven away as usually the coffee is very hot so I give it a chance to cool down and I was too far to turn around and go back to get the right coffee.

Great and wonderful friendly staff, great location as well in town and has plenty of drink options on the menu. If you do not like coffees, they have teas as well as smoothies and even energy drinks as well even things to munch on

Me and my wife have found a new favorite coffee spot. I heard from an acquaintance that this place is good and that they gave you a chocolate covered espresso bean. First-person experience, I've had great service with great tasting coffee, and the kids loved their Italian sodas. My wife has had numerous experiences here, each good, and she said to give Lluvia a shout-out for being a great barrista with great attitude and service.

Olivia makes the best drinks no doubt! No coffee is better than human bean coffee; especially in the morning. Always super fast and always super kind. She helped me figure out a drink to my liking AND my diet. 100/10 experience! 😁

Goodbye Starbucks, found a favorite coffee shop. The blended Irish cream Breve is to die for. And at a great price.

Honestly one of my favorite place to order coffee or smoothies from, the staff is always so friendly and the customer service is always excellent. So glad we have one here in the valley. ❤️❤️ Sorry for the low light picture, this is the green tea smoothie with whipped cream, they also add a chocolate covered coffee bean on top the whipped cream! 🥰🥰

I absolutely love this place!!! Best coffee in town, and the employees are amazing. It's my dogs favorite place lol he gets so excited to go and the pup cup is very generous, he gets a dog biscuit and everything. I'd highly recommend any blended red bull or the java chip with coffee, both are super addictive!

This place is absolutely amazing! I try to go every week. I have grown an attachment to this amazing coffee, so many varieties to choose from. The coffee beans are sooo good! The employees are very energetic and friendly. Always willingly to come fourth and help use the reward app, very patient and they definitely take there time. I do wish there was another location on the other side of town. I do travel all the way from San Mateo just for this delicious coffee but well WORTH IT.

This place was really good at first. It has gotten bad.. I went today and ordered a salted caramel mocha and it was so runny. You could see the chocolate on the side- not at all blended together like the pic. I asked for a pup cup and the girl at the window just gave me a look , didn't even say thank you. I told her thank you, no reply. The girl who took my order was rude as well. I asked for light ice on another drink and she told me, that doesn't mean we are going to fill the cup all of the way to the top. Wow, wrong day to mess up my order....

I ordered the pumpkin snowy coffee blended drink. It was amazing. I could barely talk and they were so patient with me while I was trying to order. I kept apologizing and was told it was ok. They all are very kind.

I’d love to give it a good rating. But the people who work there hold up the drive thru line for 10-15 minutes while you wait. I’ve tried to come here twice. Each time I sit and wait and wait and wait while they chat with their buddies in their cars and gossip about their job. I’ll let ya know if I ever try something.

The last two times I visited this location the drinks didn't taste like the past drinks, they are constantly making mistakes like adding ice when asking for no ice. The flavors are inconsistent lately. Staff is nice, but needs direction. Please fix!!!

I LOVE THE MEXI-MOCHAAAAAAA, specifically the cold blended one it's perfect. Oh and the service is great, I asked the employee for a recommendation and they were very polite and informative.

You guys make the best coffee! I have loved everything I have tried so far

The coffee is good but overpriced. The staff were quick but are obviously new since there was a lot they didn't know. As an example, I ordered an Americano with cream and sugar. I was told "I'm sorry, we makes ours with water." Clearly new at this since coffee with cream and sugar was new to them. They didn't know the prices to their swag and seemed in general more interested in saying they work at a coffee shop than learning what they need to make it worth the visit. As I said, it was good, but I probably won't go back.
