Had a wonderful breakfast here the day before Thanksgiving. Even though we live only a few blocks away, we felt like we were on vacation out of town. The fireplace was crackling and felt great on a chilly morning. I had the 24K beet waffles and my wife had their special version of avocado toast. The surroundings enhance the delicious food and coffee. The historic house is filled with eclectic furnishings and the walls are decorated with art by local artists. Very nice experience to start our holiday break.

My second visit and first Google review for Curious Toast Cafรฉ. Adrie was a great hostess/cashier. I got the trio of mini 24 ct. gold dust waffles with lemon ricotta and my boyfriend had the milk toast. I had a nitro hibiscus iced tea and he had the mustache mocha. I thought mine was delicious. I loved the mini waffles. The presentation was everything. I thought the ricotta could have had more lemon zest in it. I thought the syrup was light and sweet. I needed more on top though. Thanks, Team Curious Toast. Can't wait to come back.

Curious Toast is amazing! I haven't had anything there that wasn't absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is eclectic and inviting. If you have food allergies like I do, this place is a plus because they take care of you without making you feel like a pain.

I never thought I'd rave about a piece of toast. I mean c'mon, it's just toast, right? I couldn't be more wrong. You'll never look at a sad piece of buttered toast again once you experience Curious Toast. Nestled in a historic building in downtown Albuquerque, the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. You're surrounded by an eclectic mix of furniture and art in this bright airy space. The employees were cheerful and very helpful in deciding between the options. I ordered the Benjii toast. The phenomenal bread was topped with fresh homemade guac, soft-boiled egg, sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, and topped off with smoked sea salt. This knife-and-fork worthy meal held me over until lunch and I enjoyed every single bite. If I had one suggestion it would be to have the eggs warmed a bit, but that's admittedly a personal preference. The coffee was bold enough to stand up to the toast. I'll be coming here next time, and every time I'm lucky enough to be in Albuquerque.

Toast is my favorite food. This place does it up right. Delicious choices, including vegetarian/vegan and fairly priced for what you get. Itโ€™s all housed in this amazing old mansion with three stories and a basement, most of which have eclectically decorated rooms you can sit in. Feels like a magical blend of mid โ€˜00s Portland and early-stage Meow Wolf. Plus toast. Tasty, beautiful toast.

What a wonderful find. Definitely want to become a regular here. Excellent service, really great coffee drinks with high quality ingredients, and the toasts are amazing. I ordered the Benj toast and I had a perfectly poached egg with high-quality ingredients and the Tesuque toast did not disappoint. Excellent service and a really great location in a historic building with quirky art. Shared with other businesses and community service organizations. An excellent addition to the Albuquerque milieu.

The details put into the atmosphere and the food are unbelievably incredible. I was hungry and was told to calm down and quit woofing down the food. In other words, to savor the tastes. It was a good Idea and it was worth it.

The service was so good and the place was so chill. The toast I got was Vandame on mushrooms and itโ€™s as delicious . The sparkly blood orange drink was so refreshing !

Cute cafรฉ has its own personality, casual and quiet; it basically transformed a house into a cafe, inside there are plenty of art works around

What a bright little spot in Downtown Albuquerque! After a pretty dismal walk, we happened upon Curious Toast. Very charming interior as home is on the National Registry of Homes. My food was beautiful and delicious!

A cute creative breakfast (toast) place with yummy toast and cold brew coffee with a hipster vibe! The kind of place you'd eat at if you are on a diet or want a quick breakfast, but still crave flavorful food. Highly recommend! Great staff!

I absolutely loved this place! We were headed to the Farmerโ€™s Market but were hungry and scared that the lines would take too long. After parking we saw signs for the Curious Toast and when we noticed it was in a historic house with a patio, I was sold! I really appreciated their acceptance of dogs almost everywhere. The esthetic was very artsy as you can see in the picture. But, I was most impressed with the menu! It was so creative and clever. Lots of different kinds of toasts - sweet and savory. I had the Disco Elvis with sourdough bread. It was delicious! Staff was all excited about the menu. Two patios! Seriously one of the best finds in Albuquerque!
