I was so excited to try this place and left so disappointed! After finally getting a chance to check it out with a friend of mine I loved the look, loved the vibe, and started checking the menu. We were carded at the door which was fine. Being a career restaurant worker i was fine with all of their house rules and even found them funny. They also intentionally bash poor reviews on their wall. Cocktails were expensive and definitely craft but looked good. Me and my friend found what we wanted and waited. Then waited. Then waited some more. And after over 30 total minutes we decided they weren't going to serve us. They knew we were there, knew we were waiting, weren't really busy, but I guess for some reason we weren't going to get served. We even watched both tables next to us get served but we got skipped. We ended up leaving and going to bosque down the street where we were served in less than 5 minutes. Happy accidents, I wanted to love you, but I'll never know if you were good because you wouldn't serve us. So disappointed.

I love this place. I’m shocked to see such a low rating. The service is great. Hectic, because they stay steady and busy but great. The bathrooms are clean. Important when people are consuming quantities of alcohol. Even the food is good. We love the innovative creations of the chef and the mixologists. It’s a great place to end a long day or bring friends when they’re visiting.

Such a fun, hip place! Fun Meow Wolf-like art inside; attentive and quick service; excellent food and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the taste and presentation of all the cocktails and small dishes. Everything to eat was fairly large in serving size, which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend this fun spot! Deserves a higher rating on Google Maps for sure. My best guess is they got off to a rough start.

Don't fall for the below 4 star review on Google. The bad reviews appear to be from older, rude, racist people. The bar is huge and so comfortable inside! The staff is extremely knowledgeable! Read the menu talk to your server and order some awesome cocktails!!

I love this place! The cocktails are super creative, ambiance is fun, and the food is delicious. Never had an issue with the staff. Everyone is pretty chill. All these haters don't know what a real cocktail bar is. Hope they stay around for a long time! Cheers!

Don't let some of the low reviews keep you from going to Happy Accidents, but rather pay attention to the 5 star reviews. This place is fantastic. The staff is super-friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is great, and the cocktails are fabulous. At the bartender's suggestion, we enjoyed the best Gin and Tonic we've ever had.

Edit: Visited again and sat at a table, this time. Our busser was fantastic, but the young lady who waited on us obviously felt she had better places to be. We ordered one of the drinks we got last time, but this time it was heavy on bitters. We asked to send it back and she stood at the table and wouldn't help us until we explained ourselves. So much attitude! Not sure we'll ever be back after that experience. If you do go, however, sit at the bar and avoid the tables. Fantastic bar with truly unique cocktails and a solid food selection. As a couple, sitting at the bar and talking to the bartenders about their craft and enthusing about great creativity made for half the experience. Just like other bars I've reviewed, if you're cool and mature and respectful, the staff will be the same back to you. This is the equivalent of an art gallery where you can stretch your experience into unexpected places. If you love coconut, try the Big D Energy. Bathrooms are non gendered single rooms and wheelchair accessibility is everywhere. This is an Albuquerque gem . Don't miss out.

Best drinks, best staff, best hang in ABQ. Love the unique and good tasting drinks. Food is creative (if a little hit or miss). Atmosphere is awesome. Music is at the perfect volume to enjoy but still converse. Goat man is the best. They have also gotten to know my name along with my wife and my friends we keep being there. Modern day Cheers!

Honestly I walked in and felt like I was in The Menu, I felt very working class at first but was the bartenders made us feel very welcome and I was pleasantly surprised by the drink prices, $14 at most with plenty of cheaper options as well. It's amazing how many complex drinks you can get and how quickly they come out even at max capacity. Pro tip: there's three bathrooms in the back, you gotta go around the corner for the third one.

These are the best cocktails I have had in a long time. My boyfriend and I actually discussed if we could remember the last time we had one better in recent memory. We could not. Seriously, The milk punch = A+.

I have been there few times and I love their cocktails and if you want to try special cocktails you should try this place. Last time was my first visit after they have started serving food. To be honest I liked them just as a cocktail bar maybe with small plates but food affects my general view. We had 3 cocktails and all were really good and delicious then 3 plates as dinner and we just liked the salad. Fries were to salty and my burger over cooked! Also place has a cool ambiance. If they haven’t offer food I would give them 5🌟 but for now just 4⭐️!

My girlfriend and I have been here twice now and have really enjoyed this place each visit. Drinks are a bit expensive but it was expected. The flavor of each cocktail was rich and rewarding, and the food was better than I anticipated. We will be back

I love this place! It is decorated for the holidays at the moment - it's so cool! The whole vibe is cozy comfort. If you get the opportunity to stop in during the holidays, I highly recommend it. Their Christmas cocktails are fun & yummy.

The holiday drinks and food were just outstanding. We very much enjoy each visit we have here and will keep coming back for menue and drink changes. Keep the awesome coming.

Not entirely sure where all of the negative reviews are coming from...but my friend and I went last night and we had a wonderful time! It was my first time here, but she's been a few times before and said she's had a good experience each time. The host was very friendly and our server (who I wish I would've gotten the name of) was sweet, funny and friendly as well! She/They made some great drink recommendations and took good care of us. I loved the extensive cocktail list (it's quite fun!) as well as the ambiance and décor and am looking forward to trying different libations on my next visit. The place is super cool and totally reminded me of spots I love back in Southern California. We both really enjoyed our drinks and the food was quite delicious as well. We will definitely be back!

Very intimate setting with great mood lighting and super cute, experimental drinks. The staff was ready to close though and I arrived at the last hour of the night which felt rushed. The bartender making the drinks was entertaining.

Do yourself a solid and come try some of the drinks here. They are fantastic! This place should be 5 star rated. The staff actually cares and it’s clean with quick service. Plus the drinks and food are fast and not terribly expensive.

Honestly don’t see the point of all the negative reviews about this place. The creativity of this establishment itself is amazing. The drinks are fun, interesting and different. The food could be better but you don’t come to a craft cocktail bar for the food. I recommend the Beer Fairy for something sweeter

Came on a Friday evening around 7 and it was busy but no wait :) the server gave good recommendations and even came back with a small sample of a non-alcoholic drink I was curious about earlier. We received very attentive service and the drinks we tried were interesting and something we’ve never had before. It is on the pricier side but you’re definitely paying for novelty and the environment so I’d say it’s worth it!

This was our capstone to a week in New Mexico for my 50th birthday, and Happy Accidents exceeded ALL (rather lofty) expectations. Food: amazing, had the arepas & grilled cheese, both to die for and with excellent creative twists (a common theme). Drinks: spectacular, creativity takes a backseat to flavor, which is meant as a huge compliment. Because the cocktails are all infused -- literally &/or figuratively -- with terrific ingenuity, personality, and obvious passion for the craft. Service & atmosphere: magnificent. Zach was a wonderful host and guide for our cocktail journey (I must add... *always* sit at the bar at a great cocktail bar, you miss out on so much otherwise). The rest of the team also was impeccable in their craft. And seeing Kate running around as bar-back was a perfect testimonial for someone who has created pretty much the perfect cocktail bar. Overall: 37 / 10 stars.

Super rich and delicious cocktails. I really like this place. They have a lot to choose from and I have yet to taste anything didn't find delicious. I'm the type to settle in and have a couple cocktails at a place and enjoy the company. Atmosphere is really well put together and very clean. Service is also much better service than I expected being that it is usually slammed when I've gone. They have their stuff down. Good Job!

Thoroughly impressed with the cocktail creations. Every drink was delicious and unique. A huge list so there's something for everyone. Our bartender was great and talked to us about everything. The food menu is smaller but good for sharing. We had the desserts, key lime creme brulee and adult dirt pie, fantastic! The music was good and the whole interior design is cool design.

The drinks are unique and good. Atmosphere is eclectic. Be aware they have a VERY STRICT rule that you can only have a party of 6 or smaller. 21 or older.

I went on a busy Saturday. It was great! It was a super organized service. Our server was a bit busy but there was still coverage to help us out ordering a second round. Drinks were delicious. We all tried something different and had 8 drinks between the 4 of us. They were all delicious. I'm stoked to have a new fun Cocktail Joint near my house. It's is a much needed anchor in up here. Keep them drinks tasty. All the love!
