One
of
the
worst
meals
I've
had
in
years
in
terms
of
quality,
quantity
for
price
and
presentation.
I've
worked
in
Mexican
restaurants
in
California
(both
family-owned
and
mid-range
chain),
and
I
have
been
a
customer
of
great
Mexican
restaurants
in
California,
Arizona,
New
Mexico
and
Colorado,
and
in
Mexico
and
other
countries
as
well
as
in
Madrid,
Spain
for
at
least
4
decades.
We
ordered
Sopa
Azteca
(chicken
tortilla
soup
x2),
Mole
Poblano,
Cochinita
Pibil
and
Arroz
Mexicano
to
go
(take
away).
I
arrived
early
and
live
close
by,
so
food
should
have
been
at
its
best.
First,
they
piled
all
of
the
condiments
that
were
supposed
to
be
served
on
the
side
,
the
bits
of
corn
tortillas,
guacamole
and
sour
cream,
into
a
single
container
with
the
soup
so
that
it
became
a
huge
mush
-
we
threw
away
about
half.
Second,
the
Mole
was
only
adequate
in
flavour
and
the
Cochinita
was
neon
red
and
sweet
(supposed
to
be
at
least
moderately
spicy
with
a
little
sweet),
and
the
portion
sizes,
though
half
rations,
were
twice
as
expensive
as
they
should
have
been.
Third,
the
Arroz
was
inedible.
It
was
undercooked
and
loaded
with
onions
and
frozen
peas.
I've
never
eaten
Mexican
rice
that
was
this
bad.
Also
the
servings
were
barely
larger
than
the
half
rations
and
were
wildly
expensive
for
what
was
given.
Almost
all
of
it
went
into
the
trash.
Fourth,
they
wrapped
cold
and
broken
corn
tortillas
in
foil
and
passed
them
off
as
tortillas
ready
to
be
eaten
with
the
meal.
After
heating
the
tortillas
at
home,
they
crumbled
into
unusable
bits.
The
entire
meal
cost
about
42€,
about
30€
too
much.
I
will
never
go
back.
It
pains
me
to
think
that
the
only
restaurant
in
town
that
serves
my
favourite
kind
of
food
is
so
worthless.
They
won't
be
around
for
long,
though.
I
predict
they
fold
by
October
2016.
