An oasis of calm and quiet in a beautiful city. Our hosts Katie and Leon we very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and super clean. The house courtyard is very cozy and comfortable with lots of plants and comfy chairs. and room to store the rental bikes. The house is large and spacious and there is ample space to spread out with a great kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed our 4 days here and would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

My mom and I had such a wonderful stay here! It really really is an oasis in the city. It's beautifully decorated, has a great garden, it's very clean, and Kate and Leon are both very helpful and responsive. Likewise, we met other guests there and they were great to talk to as well. I live in the region of Valencia and know that there are some common problems throughout the area but the guesthouse miraculously has none of them. I will definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone and everyone looks oking to stay in Valencia city.

We had a wonderful stay here at Portrait Boutique Guesthouse. Actually, we were just looking for an affordable accommodation that was located well and reasonably clean - but our expectations were more than exceeded, everything was amazing. Imagine you just live in a villa that was designed with a lot of love for details - we liked the outdoor area best of all, which invites you to spend nice evenings. There are fancy fairy lights (yes, we girls love that!), a hammock, a grill, and even a second kitchen! There are different rooms in the house itself, but our shared bathroom on the ground floor was actually only used by us. Everything was really clean. Various seating options have been created in the outdoor areas in front of the house and in the courtyard, so that actually every party in the house should have the opportunity to sit outside. The kitchen is large and well equipped - really ideal for self-catering. There is also complimentary coffee, tea and muesli provided in the kitchen. Leon was a wonderful host with a good sense of humour, easy to chat to if you wanted to, but not intrusive either. Since he speaks perfect native English, we had no communication problems. We also received a message in advance with a lot of useful information about the accommodation and the surrounding area. In Valencia itself we were happy about the low prices and felt safe at all times.

What a stay at Portrait Guesthouse! Very beautiful house with a superb garden, a hidden gem within the city. It has everything you wish for! Leon and Katie are the best hosts! They have arranged all kinds of activities for us, like a cycling tour, sailing, private yoga lesson in the garden and a 5 course dinner prepared by Leon. This place is highly recommended!

This guesthouse is absolutely incredible. The hosts are very attentive from the outset and this is reflected on their property which was beautiful to begin with. High ceilings, ornate cornice work and beautiful hallways but their modernisation has been done to a tremendous standard and works in tandem with the traditional older features within the property. This is a property to come back too again and again and wish the owners every success. They deserve it!

A unique and homely experience in Valencia, perfectly positioned between Old Town and beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. Hosts are exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Beds and rooms are large and extremely comfy.

My family and I stayed here and the house was beautiful and very clean. The hosts were polite and offered an amazing service. The location was perfect. Not too far from shops or the bus if you wanted to have a wander around. Was gutted to leave. Will definitely be returning.

We were here as a drop inn for the yoga retreat (for that reason, we have no experience for the rooms), but the location is superb...a little oasis not far from the beach and Turia Park. Leon and Katie are the best hosts you can wish for!! Thanks for an amazing day🤩

WOW... fabulous place. There were 8 of us so we took over the guesthouse, we had a lovely welcome and although we were very early we were able to leave our cases. The guest house was well equipped, the decor is gorgeous, the garden is amazing, it's location is great, close to bus stops, the bedrooms were very comfortable and although we shared a bathroom it didn't cause any issues. Whilst staying at the guesthouse we had an exquisite meal cooked especially for us by chef Leon, Katie's husband, the most fabulous experience for us all. On departure day we were able to leave our cases which meant we could enjoy our last day. Thank you Katie and Leon

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful hotel. Leon & Katie we’re fabulous hosts and the highlight of our stay was Leon cooking us the best meal I’ve ever had & Katie hosting the meal with perfectly chosen wines for each course. Valencia is such a beautiful city. As a group of 8 friends we bought a card for 10 bus journeys each from the Tabac shop and just hopped on & off all day. We visited the very close beach and had some lovely dinners there and also went into the old town where there was so much history. I highly recommend a trip to Valencia and staying at the portrait hotel.

What an incredible place! We were wonderfully welcomed by our lovely hosts Katie and Leon. The guesthouse was stunning, more than I could have hoped for and situated in a fantastic location. During our stay, we were treated to a delicious meal - one that our whole party was absolutely blown away by. From the presentation to the taste, it was exquisite. Their attention to detail was second to none and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you for everything - you made our holiday truly special and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. A real gem!

10/10. We loved it. Rooms are perfectly clean, and has a special feeling. I personally loved the old doors and the locks! :) The owner was kind and funny, we’ve got all the information, as well as suggestions what to visit in the city and where to eat in the neighbourhood. Only one thing to develop: a proper coffee machine would be good in the kitchen. ;)

Warmness of the host and a nice garden away from the noise. Most comfortable bed. Everything is clean. The kitchen is a nicely equipped, except for no salad spinner and bowl, which if we brought it to Katie’s attention, it would have been remedied immediately. So if you are looking for negatives you will surely find them everywhere else, if you ask me.

We had the worst bedroom we have slept in in the last 50 years. There was no mention of a shared bathroom in the booking information. The stairs were scary. After check in we did not see anyone from the guesthouse. The place was hard to find if driving and the street parkingless than ideal. £300 for two nights in a totally unsutable room was far too much. I doube it I will get a refund. I would not recommend the guest house to anyone

Couldn’t have a better place in Valencia. Hospitality was exceptional, the Guesthouse is stunning and fully equipped with everything you might need. Whenever I’m in town, I’ll always stay here!! Thank you for such a great stay.
