Amazing room! Great location as it's right in the town near the silk exchange, and the owner is lovely very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Really glad we booked this place. The rooms are clean and large. Bathrooms are modern and lovely too. We stayed in room 8 and next time we come back to Valencia we will certainly be booking here again.

What a gem! Just re-opened, the rooms are beautiful. Recently renovated boutique rooms in the heart of Valencia, located in a quiet corner. Many nice places to eat and drink in the neighborhood:) Perfect for a city trip to Valencia:)

In order of importance: 1. I’ve been a member of Inspirato until recently. Our third trip out was to Valola in Valencia where we were greeted by Maaike. Her welcoming, kind and informative disposition is found only in expensive travel clubs; WOW! As the days went on, and we ventured in to Valencia, we seemed to have a friend on our phones, at all hours, guiding or informing. Her smile and problem solving skills were always reassuring. 2. Valola is near the action, regardless of direction you take when leave the building. Awesome! 3. Rooms are comfortable with a Dutch minimalistic artistic design, quite different and welcome change from the typical old Spanish thing. The outlets and table for your devices are where they need to be. One can sleep with shades open, the sun will not disrupt your sleep. A TV would have been nice, but we did not spend much time in the room. 4. Access to the rooms requires that you go up a flight of stairs, if this is not a big deal to you, great! 5. Security is good, the city’s crime rate is insignificant and each patron needs to remember to close the main entrance. We never felt unsafe. 6. There is no restaurant, but with all the wonderful choices a block away, you won’t miss it. Coffee is down the hallway, help yourself. Don’t know how to use a Nespresso machine, no worries, Maaike has a radar that detects when you need help and appears just in time to help, smile, blame the machine and make you feel smart. 7. The bed, is one big bed, awesome! Duvet was the bomb as were the pillows. 8. Cleaning service: shut up and enjoy, it was better than Inspirato. 9. If you like to complain in order to get a discount, cause it makes you feel…. Whatever; don’t go. You’ll be hard pressed to find it and the rest of the visitors will avoid you. Everyone we met at Valola was sooo nice!!! This alone is worth the visit. 10. Don’t expect ocean views or magnificent city landscapes; the building is located in one of the many charming alley ways facing other buildings or churches. I highly recommend this place, hope you meet Maaike and I hope she stops working so hard.

Lovely rooms that have been recently renovated. Very clean and the bathroom was really big. The owners are so friendly offering loads of advice. Free tea and coffee in hall and an honesty bar that responsibly priced. No TV in the room, but that's a plus for me, you should be out exploring the beautiful city. Only improvement I'd make is English breakfast tea and milk available, but that's cos I'm a typical Brit on holiday! Great location right in the old town. Highly recommended

This was a great place to stay but I just can't give a full five stars. We stayed at three other hotels while traveling through Spain, one of which was in Valencia so is heavily compared to this one. The positives are that the host is very kind and it was easy to coordinate our arrival. There are body wash, shampoo, soap, etc. in the bathroom which was very spacious. You go through two locked doors before getting to your locked door, so it felt very secure. It was in a quiet part of the central area, so very close to the action but secluded enough for a good night's rest. Unfortunately for what we paid at Valola, which was comparable to the price of a real hotel, I just wouldn't be able to justify it and go back. The room was incredibly small with limited space for luggage. It really has more of an airbnb feeling than a boutique hotel. I just can't understand the price, which felt very much like we were staying in someone's home rather than renting a hotel room. If we wanted an airbnb experience we would have expected to pay airbnb prices. There were no in-room amenities like coffee or a kettle (you have to leave the room for this), no robe, slippers, folding luggage rack, in-room safe, etc.. There is no front desk or staff on site. It was just not what you would expect from a boutique hotel, but very good if you are more of an airbnb/hostel type traveler.

Beautifully renovated rooms with comfortable beds and amazing rain shower! Located on a quiet street in de city center. Sometimes there is some noise from the street, but that's normal for a big city. It wasn't a problem for us at all. Bike rental end plenty of nice breakfast/taps restaurants within 5-minutes walk. the hospitality was superb!

During my recent visit to Valencia, I had the pleasure of staying at a truly remarkable hotel located in the heart of the city. Nestled near the vibrant Mercat Central, this hidden gem that exceeded my expectations.

Stayed here for the second time. I was reminded again of the unique location and the quality of the rooms. Very much enjoyed the service. When I am in Valencia again, I will certainly stay here again.

We had such a wonderful 3-night stay in Valola. The location of the property made it very easy to reach the city, various tourist attractions (Mercat Central), restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice bathrooms, comfortable mattress. The owners, Dolores and Daniel were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the centre of Valencia!

Newly renovated and excellent value for your money. The rooms are gorgeous, beds extra long and super comfortable mattresses, big roomy showers, air conditioning works great, very fast wifi and the service is very attentive. I'm coming back with a big group of girlfriends in October and we've booked the entire place!

I had a lovely stay in the beautiful hotel in the middle of Valencia. My room was spacious and clean, the bed super comfortable and the hosts are very kind and helpful! Valola is situated in a beautiful old building in the old town of Valencia. Absolutely worth your stay :)

We stayed here for a few days and it was great. Our host, Daniel, was super helpful. The rooms have been recently renovated and ours was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was also very comfortable. The location is right in the heart of the action, but still peaceful at night. The in-room USB ports and complementary abanico fans were also nice touches! We walked to all of the major sites. I highly recommend it for anyone going to Valencia.

This boutique hotel is an absolute gem, with its charming ambiance and a warm, welcoming host. The rooms are not only impeccably clean but also surprisingly spacious, offering a delightful stay. Our experience in the city was made even more memorable by this wonderful accommodation. Moreover, its ideal location allows you to explore everything on foot. Highly recommended!
