They make garlic naan on the tawa if they haven't lit up the tandoor. I ordered a chilly chicken from them and when it got delivered, there was no slat in it, the onions were burnt and the chicken was half fried. When I called up the place, Parry/Barry told me that the onion wasn't burnt (pic attached) but fried. Mate, I know how to fry onions and surprisingly they always turn out golden and not black! I said I won't order again and his response was "OK". DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Lamb shank and Butter naan. Very disappointed with the quality of food provided. Neither of these food were good. I don’t know of other items but I would recommend not to try these items.

Absolutely recommend! If you want some of the best Indian food in Adelaide, scratch that, Australia, treat yourself to the Royal Tandoori Restaurant. The staff are always courteous, food is of the best price, value, quantity you could think of! I cannot recommend highly enough this amazing restaurant, a hidden gem within Adelaide in the suburbs.

My saffron rice had hair in it and more than one, was absolutely disgusting 🤮 Luckily Uber refunded me instantly. Would not recommend this place

I have had many poor malai Kofta in Adelaide but none of them was as disgusting and waste of money as this one. I doubt they even know what to cook for this dish.

I've had a great experience at this restaurant. Nice food and friendly staff, can't complain. They have been more than happy to give a custom order if required. I've been there multiple times.

Have been coming to this very understated little restaurant for over 20 years! It's had it's up & down moments over the years, but generally speaking this is the best, most authentic Indian food we've ever had anywhere in Australia! Great serves and NOT overpriced like a lot of Indian Restaurants. Very friendly staff, the same family that have been there from the start. Not a fancy venue by any means, but a fun place to bring a group of friends. Has only let us down a couple of times in over 20 years, but will always go back here for our Indian fix!

We have been here so many times over the years from Melbourne. We have NEVER had a less than PERFECT culinary experience! The sauces are incredible, the detail to flavours is unlike anything in Melbourne! We hope this tiny restaurant will stay open for another generation to experience.

Ordered chicken and lamb biryani, but what we got was chicken and lamb curry mixed with rice not biryani. Bad quality not happy. Will not order again.

We hire them catering for my house warming function . We went to restaurant for tasting and discussion for menu. After selected menu they bring some different food and not full items on function day , food was tasteless and not not served properly. Our guests are little bit late it’s happened always in function and they deny to serve them . We totally disappointed and unhappy from whole services. I m not recommended to hire for catering.if you use it nobody like food and you will be waste your money

We regularly go to Royal Tandori and every time we go we receive the warmest welcome and eat some amazing tranditional Indian food. The meals are very reasonably priced too. Such a lovely team
