Amazing park with so many wonderful sections. One of the best things about West Bromwich is this green space for nature lovers. There are walk routes and great spots for picnics. There are areas to look at wildlife. There are farm areas. The visitor centre is really helpful and worth checking out if you're a new visitor, you will be able to pick up a map and get a few tips as to which parts to explore.

This place is beautiful. Wide open spaces, play areas, games, a lake, cafés, ice cream and cheap parking. Parking is done through the paybyphone app and is about £1.30 for 3 hours. Parking is a little troublesome as a lot of people don't know how to park and didn't leave space for others to get out. However, after finding parking, there is a short walk to the play area. Kids really enjoyed the various apparatus they have, large swings, climbing frames and obstacle course etc. The lake here is beautiful and has a lot of wildlife. Would definitely visit again if in the area. Just to note, coffee in the cafe is the instant kind and they use PG Tips for the tea. Prices are reasonable. Looking for a fun few hours to kill with the kids for very little cost, then this place is perfect. There are also trails and walks to go on as well, so great for just relaxing and getting your mind off the daily struggles of life.

Wonderful, huge country park, woodland trails, can get muddy! Has a visitor centre where you can pick up a map, buy gifts or coffee, tea and snacks. Some paths are hard standing, but then disappear into soft ground, but not too bad underfoot. Can see if your lucky, squirrels, woodpeckers, and lots of different birds too. Bridge over the M5 at one point, where you walk across! Ruins of the old priory, and a farm garden, plus cafe and tea rooms, and the bunny village, which kids will love. Parking is plentiful and good value, easily spend a day there.

Only a quick visit to this lovely country park to ride their rollercoaster. Parking was 40p for an hour. Tokens were £1 each. The other half bought some food from the hut at the funfair. He said it was very nice. Seems to be lots of open space for kids and dogs to run around.

To think that Sandwell Valley is located where it is, is nothing short of amazing. In an instant you can be transported to a world that's magical and beautiful. The scenery is incredible, and don't be afraid to go off the beaten track! This is an exceptional place for walkers, fitness fanatics, and probably more so for people who need to de-stress and get away from the world. Honeslty, go and have a walk. Take in the beauty. Don't let the weather phase you, and you will find something beautiful.

Fantastic country park. It also joins really well onto Dartmouth Park which is next door to it! The country park is great with bigger paths round Swam Lake and grassy areas and also thinner, muddier track paths through the woods. There is also priory ruins with information boards which are worth a wander round. As we were approaching the end of our walk we also found some wooden and metal sculptures near the carpark which were ace. We wandered nearly three miles round Dartmouth Park and Sandwell Valley Country Park, but you could easily do longer or shorter ones. Also great for dog walkers and runners. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Been here few time for a walk with family and dog, nice big park with kids playground not far from bid parking area pay and display. Went here last night for light show, big space so easily distancing with other family, nice light display (and it's free entrance) they have few amusement park rides and bumper cars plus burgers, sweets and donuts stand as well. Parking is free after 6pm.

Sandwell Valley is in a great location in the West Bromwich area. Parking is only 40 pence per hour with easy disabled access. It is a very large area and great for family walks , pets or a picnic. It has large lakes with plenty of ducks and swans. There is a great kids funfair and a train to take you around the grounds. The farm has few animals nowadays but is still worth visiting. The large activities area has plenty of climbing , slides ect. Usually has a couple of ice cream vans for refreshments. All In all a great day out.

Great open space with very reasonable car parking charges. There is the farm that at the moment (August 2021) is free to enter as no animals inside.

Sandwell Valley is a lovely location and again a treasure within the West Bromwich area. It has acres and acres of land, giving keen walkers a choice of going off a paved path and onto the fields and woodland area; making you feel as though you are in a completely different location. However, if you are after a simple walk - the grounds accommodate this to; with a large lake area covered with ducks and swans. Yes, big beautiful swans! Surrounded hugely by fields, hills and greenery, with plenty of spaces to sit and have a picnic or lunch there. There is a very extensive play area for children, which includes climbing frames, a trampoline and gym equipment catered to children (I won't lie, I tried out the trampoline and loved it) & much more. I choose not to take photos of this area due to how populated it was with children at the time. However, I will include photos of an adult outdoor gym area they have which is brilliant. As it is free to use, you only have to pay for parking which is 80 pence for 2 hours (cheaper option available for up to 1 hour). I've added a few pictures from earlier in the year when it was snowing, but photos truly do not do justice, therefore I haven't taken many. You need to experience the park for yourself! In addition to the already stated, they also have, tennis courts, miniature golf and the grounds lead into Dartmouth golf club. Also having Dartmouth park on the other side of the grounds. Again beautiful grounds, and the best part is - none if it is restricted, so you could walk for hours and still remain within the grounds of Sandwell Valley and park farm. Certain times of the year, they will have a fun fair on and farm animals out on the patch directly opposite the main car parks. Great place, definitely worth a visit on a sunny day but equally as beautiful in the snow! I always go to Sandwell Valley with friends for a walk because it's a lovely way to get outdoors, enjoy the beauty that surrounds you and simply forget about all your troubles. Even if it is only for a short amount of time. Go check it out with anyone, be it family, children, pets or friends. I garuntee you will feel more relaxed after a walk there!

The park and surrounding areas is a stunning place to walk. It has vast grounds including several lakes and ponds, woodland and a old monastery remains to explore. Great for all and always cleanly kept. There can be high traffic at times but never anything ridiculous. If you're in the area it's 100% worth a visit

Very spaces park with lots of hidden gems to explore. Parking was easy with front accessible toilets. We walked towards the park and lake to have a picnic. It wasn't crowded, where we sat people were on walks and enjoying the park. We walked towards the small funfair and further into the garden area to explore the small museum. The gardens were well looked after with many produce from fruits to vegetables. A small coffee shop selling food and drink. Further on a small shop selling honey, eggs and many more items to purchase. The lady at the till was lovely. We walked around the woods track, lots to explore. Overall a very enjoyable afternoon out.

A really impressive place. Well laid out gardens ( there is currently building work in progress) with ample areas to eat. Plenty of catering, and a very good play area. My granddaughters loved the fairground . There was a woodland walk path that looked very inviting but that will have to be visited another time.

We love this park. It's good for kids to play in. It's generally well kept. It has a nice car park which is payable most of the time but please check seasons and times before you pay. I love to talk a pleasant walk and having a nice quiet picnic is also most agreeable. I would recommend this park to families and couples. It has two table tennis areas and a basketball area. Also it has a workout area. You can hire bikes if you so choose.

Great place for a park run, brilliant mountain bike tracks including Miners Trail. Swan Pool is a beautiful lake. It feels like you're in the countryside in the middle of West Brom. Easy to access about 3 min drive from West Bromwich and a few minutes drive from M5 J1. Also near the Hawthornes stadium and North Birmingham.

Headed here for a walk. Parking was reasonable. We didn’t enter into the tea rooms but they looked lovely from the outside and the menu was reasonable with lite bites and jacket potatoes. Found an Ice Cream van in the car park :)

Good place for outing with kids and family. Have a nice & big play area. And small amusement rides set up. Lastly have different food and drinks stalls serving mouth watering options. Had 2 stalls of Indian food which had longest queues 😀 Ample paid parking is available and easily accessible (however entry & exit roads are not much broad hence should be cautious). I didn't find parking ticketing machine as cashless. Also, have paid a high & low rope walking set up (Vertigo Adventures High & Low Ropes) including Climbing Wall, Zip Line, Free-Fall Defender. Good for young & adults looking for more fun with adventure. I have also included the pamphlet they provided for details. Do carry cash as not all vendors are having cashless machines. Hope that helps.

So much to see and explore. We parked opposite the adventure playground and below a lake. But we took a walk through to the heritage centre and enjoyed the old buildings and courtyard gardens. The coffee shop is on the "to do next time" list. We proceeded over the footbridge spanning the M5 and walked to the Swan Pond and back again via another footbridge. So much to see. And on a warm sunny day with a picnic, it would be like mini holiday. Looking forward to summer and the next visit.

Ok park overall with plenty of activities for the children. Reasonable sized play areas with slides, climbing frames and other fun equipment. It passes the time especially if you have children with you. But parking meter said "£2 for four hours" yet when I put in the £2, I got a ticket which gave me 2h 50 minutes with my wife, sons, nephews and nieces. Three ice cream vans were there but they had limited options and ALL THREE HAD ZERO SPRINKLES! That's like offering desserts but saying there's no chocolate left. Unfortunately too, the gents toilets were the worst I have ever seen in the entire country. Just disgusting. Disgraceful. The toilets were full of you-know-what and the floor was flooded. Just vile. So much for hygiene during the Covid-19 "pandemic." Sort yourselves out - hire some cleaners, around the clock. You rob us on Council Tax enough to hire some more staff.

We visited Santa today and my son loved it. He had a present off Santa and made a decoration for the tree. The elf making balloon animals was really lovely. The only negative point... I think the price for adults is a bit high, would be nice if we at least get a hot drink for paying £8 each.

It was so nice to connect with nature and walk around Sandwell Valley. There is so much to take in. Hopefully, try one of the cycle routes soon.

Being a park lover with my kids , the best park visited so far in Birmingham. What an infrastructure. Nature at its best. Beautiful green slope, very good play area for kids. One thing i must say, men's toilets were closed and hence there was a long line in the ladies toilet. People had trouble with their kids. I had to leave the park for my kids.

Such a large country park, including an amusement park, farms, lake, etc. I think it's better to ride your bikes coz it's such a long way, but walking around is also not bad as you can enjoy the sunshine and beautiful views. Didn't have time to explore everything but definitely come again and I wanna try High Ropes and Zip Line. I would love to bring my family next time.

Beautiful parkland and trees, a lovely walk to see old ruins, pretty flowers and beautiful tall trees. Ideal for single, couples, families and walking groups. There is lots to do for families including a small fair, a play park, crazy golf and picnic areas. There is also a fantastic free gym area with a multiple types of equipment. Would definitely return.

Today, it was a bit windy and cold in outside. But, the park views was amazing and extremely beautiful nature with a lot of activities for kids. My children really loved that park and we overwhelmed as well. Definitely, we will go there again during the summer time. Recommended for family with kids.

Nice place to visit with the family. Been here about 4 times and during different seasons. The place looks new every time I have visited. The trail in itself is amazing to walk through. We walked around the whole park, took some time and in the end we were tired, but absolutely worth it.
