I celebrated my birthday yesterday in Bodega. The food was amazing, the service remarkable and we had a lovely time there. The nachos are a must along with the Elotes. I also tried the argentinian steak and was delicious, tender and juicy.

One of my favourite food places in Leicester. It is has amazing prices and the food taste amazing. The staff are honestly so great and really help with the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the lunch menu as it’s a great price and also fills you. They always have great offers and I would really recommend going here

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant as I've seen good reviews about it. I loved the ambience walking into it. Very Mexican. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The cocktails were amazing! The beef birria, I found quite sour. The blue corn tacos that came with it was nice, so was the dips. The sweet potato fries were really good. The dark chocolate tart was too rich for me. I'll definitely be back as I have a few things on the menu that I would like to try. All in all, good value for money.

I found a new favorite place. The first time I went for their happy hour of 2 cocktails for 10 pounds, I ordered house nachos which were a perfect snack with the drinks, I also ordered the Puerto Rican fried chicken and it was delicious and brought back all my memories of family gatherings in Puerto Rico. Next time I went , we were served by such a lovely waitress that was helpful and friendly. We ordered the brisket and chicken quesadilla which were perfect and is making my mouth water just remembering it. We also got a Brazilian dish of sea food and rice that we didn’t appreciate too much. I will be coming back often, especially for their signature margarita

We were in Leicester for our Son's graduation ceremony & Visited this place only after his recommendation. Food was Great .. delicious, good in quality & quantity, Great atmosphere & ambience. Have sitting arrangement both indoor & Outdoor. Staff need to be more tentative & alert, we need to raise our hands thrice to get her attention. Bar need some more efforts, as mocktails were below average.

Amazing! Really nice bright restaurant that was busy with a good atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food .... wow loved it! Lots of flavour and sooooo tasty. Needless to say I definitely recommend it 💯😋

Would definitely go there again. Everything was spot on. Catlin our server was brill, nothing wasn't too much for her. We even asked her to pay compliments to the chef. Food was bang on. Cocktails were so nice too.

I love this place! It has such a relaxed and fun vibe, the food and drinks are spot on and service is good too :). Bodega does some lovely reasonable lunch time deals , so if you are in the area, highly recommend visiting.

It’s my second time to come for a lunch in Bodega Cantina. We would say if you prefer to have small plates, this restaurant is one of a good place to chill out. We had ordered Baja Fish, Mexican cola chicken wings and Mexican chicken with spicy rice. We appreciated the cola chicken wings the most as we love its ginger flavour and mixed well with cola. We feel a bit disappointed about the chicken with spicy rice and its a bit bland and tasteless. Baja fish is nice with lime juice. We ordered a cup of cocktail and turned out to two and one was free.

I have been here about 3 or 4 times and twice in the last couple of months! One of my favourite places for Mexican food and I highly reccomend this! I love the range of choices and the fact you can change the heat on the food with the sauce! I really enjoy the fact they cater well to vegetarians!

Bodega is amazing. Love the atmosphere and the food is epic. If you want a real taste of Mexico/South American cuisine then get yourselves in here you won’t be disappointed. The tacos are to die for and the decor well that will keep you looking around the entire time you were there. Service is good and friendly.

If you in the center of town and need a Mexican hit this is your first choice. All the dishes are tasty and the food comes out fast. Prices are fair and the potions are generous.

Great service by Lianne (she also speaks Spanish). As a Mexican I can tell the birria really tastes as the traditional Mexican dish although it is presented in a different way.

Nice staff, had a server who was on their second shift and they were really polite. Food was great, nicely stuffed wrap, lots of filling and sweet potato fries were perfect. Cocktails are good too, some with a good kick. Churros were ok but still tasty. Had some good murals on the wall and even though we were sat on high stools they were comfy. Photos included are from second visit. Fish tacos were amazing and the nachos were some of the best we'd had. However upon this visit the service was incredibly slow. I guess it depends on who is on shift on the day.

The food was amazing!! I really recommend the steak and house nachos. Everything was so yum, including the cocktails. Loved our server Paola!! She was so sweet and always there to get us anything we needed.

Place was nice, my friend booked for a table and when we got there we were shown to our table. We had nachos and paloma with passion fruit and it was very nice. My first time trying Mexican.

Great food, very convenient location in St Martin's Square in city centre. They updated the menu since I last went (pre-pandemic) and it's even better now (although would've loved to have the ceviche again which is no longer a menu item). Lunch options are varied and decently priced, there is is a lunch deal menu too. Looking forward to going back and trying some other dishes, I had the Argentinian steak and it was delicious (if slightly overdone).

Good food, great flavour and good atmosphere, and upbeat music, and they do a 2 for £12 cocktails during happy hour. It's definitely worth a visit.

Cocktails are delicious. Food excellent. Halloumi burgers, Tacos, Burritos all highly recommended as are the sweet potato fries. Good choice of sauce strengths

It was my first time eating at Bodega. The menu is great with variety of options. Food is tasty and different. We had Tortilla salad and burritos. Both were excellent. We also had a small plate of Patatas Bravas which was great as well. The service could have been better as apart from the mains the small plate and the drinks needed repeated reminding. Overall a great place would definitely visit again

Great food, followed by great staff attitudes, one thing I would say is I have a big appetite (given my smaller frame) I recommend ordering a starter as well as a side and a main in order to be filled.

Amazing! Staff were all extremely pleasant. The service was very fast. Food was beautiful and I can't get over how well priced it is. I just cannot fault the place!

We went to the Bodega for a mid week meal out - what a perfect choice! The food was lovely, especially the sharing nachos & jalapeño poppers. The cocktails were great too!! But the star of the show was our waiter, Marshall, where nothing was too much - he made us feel welcome, was extremely friendly!! Thank you Marshall!
