When this first opened as a bar it was amazing, they have done so much work to it and the outside area is great except it has become a glorified smoking shelter now. We like to go for a drink after work and sit under the shelter and put on the fires when we need to. There is a very expensive cover and sides which has made it a really nice place to go in the cold and rain. We can still do that but as non-smokers there's nowhere to escape from cigarette smoke and as the tables and chairs are so close together it has become very unpleasant. Last week every single table was full of people smoking and it was horrible. I don't want to be miserable but we will find somewhere else if people continue to smoke under cover. There's lots of space where smokers can stand outside the shelter, is it possible to make it a non-smoking drinking area outside?

Belated review for XO Lounge, had my wife's 40th party here a couple of months back and we were able to hire the upstairs area. The decor is amazing and the setup with the balconies really set the scene for the party. Lee, Chris and the staff were amazing taking drinks orders for guests and playing our playlist for the party. The buffet food was great and they even kindly got some chips from the chippy next door. Allowed us to put up the party decor with no fuss and the communication beforehand was excellent. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a venue for a small event or just wants to have drinks and food in a cool local bar. Absolutely amazing.

Me and my boyfriend loved this wonderful gay-friendly neighbourhood wine bar. Felt very comfortable, welcoming and open-minded staff. Special hello to Chris, so warm and welcoming! Will definitely be back!

Great little local place for drinks. With amazing selection of wine and other drinks. Hopefully they add abit of food to the menu!

What a fabulous little place, cosy, great ambience and a very warm welcome from the owner🙏. It's opposite Sutton Park too so a handy place to call into after a walk. Looked around upstairs and saw that the drinks can be tested like I guess in flytes or shot glasses, apparently you load like a card with money and then you test what you like, what a novel idea. Definitely coming back here with the girls one Friday and we'll be booking a taxi ....

We had an amazing time at XO for my wife's birthday, the staff were amazing, the venue was awesome the drinks were great, it was a brilliant evening!
