Absolutely lovely meal at Streetly Balti last night. Great to go somewhere local with a menu that is different from your regular Indian restaurant and good for money. We will return

The place to eat Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine in the area for sure. Beautiful food, bursting flavours and Shab is always accommodating. The best food is often found in smaller family owned businesses. Will definitely visit again when I’m in the area.

I found this restaurant on google when travelling for work. I booked a table using their online reservation system and was contacted within 5 minutes to confirm my booking. On arrival I was greeted by friendly attentive staff. This is a small restaurant so I would recommend booking to guarantee a table. I ordered the Railway Gosht and vegetable fried rice as a main meal. I was not disappointed. What a lovely meal. The lamb was tender and the curry sauce was thick and full of flavour. The rice was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a lovely meal at the Streetly Balti, the staff were very friendly and managed to just fit 6 of us in with little notice. I would have given 5 stars but there are no alcoholic drinks available, however there is a Tesco express just around the corner which has bottles of Cobra in the fridge.

Brilliant food and even better service! I ordered: Starters: 🔹Lollypop chicken ~ the lollipop chicken was crispy, cooked well and was marinated in a sweet and sticky sauce. Truly delicious. 🔹Achari lamb chops ~ these were soft, tender and juicy. Ngl, I was very impressed with how the lamb chops were packed with flavour and grilled to perfection. 🔹 Corn on the cob ~ this was drizzled in a special sauce that definitely upped the corn on the cob game. It had a sweet aftertaste. This isn't currently on the menu, but will hopefully be on there soon iA! 🔹Dynamite king prawns ~ the dynamite prawns were also nice. The prawns were garnished with onions, peppers and pomegranates which were a nice touch. Mains: 🔹Railway Gosht ~ The gosht was a straight up 10/10 dish. If you go to this restaurant this curry is a must-have. Again, the lamb was cooked to perfection. It was soft and meltingly tender. The meat fell apart easily. Such an authentic dish. 🔹Red Murgh curry ~ the chicken was cooked nicely and the curry had a good level of spice. The variety of ingredients were all freshly prepared. 🔹Chicken Tarka ~ If you don't like spice then this is the curry for you. Although it isn't spicy, it is still full of flavour. The chicken is sweet and this went nicely with the pilau rice. 🔹Masala fries, garlic naan & Pilau rice ~ the masala fries were saucy and fluffy. The garlic naan was also light, fluffy and tasty. The pilau rice went nicely paired with the chicken tarka or the railway gosht.

We haven't been there for a few years but tonight, (25.06.22)my wife and I took the opportunity, with no children at home to spend our date night' at Streetly Balti. The owner welcomed us like old friends, his sons served us, they were polite, knowledgeable and gave fantastic service. To top that off, the food was fantastic and served quick enough. We'll definitely be back as soon as we get chance. 5 stars.

Visited on reviews and recommendations and wasn't disappointed. Not your usual Indian menu, varied and interesting choices. Had a lovely meal, food tasty and piping hot. My new favourite Indian restaurant.

Had a fantastic night at Streetly Balti last night. The staff were friendly and informative and they offered a fantastic menu - much better than your usual Indian restaurant. They helped by suggesting and explaining the dishes and I can honestly say I had the best chicken tikka masala I have ever had. I stuck to the norm but the others all had new and different dishes which tasted fantastic. The little shot bombs were sensational!

Keep meaning to say how nice the food and staff here are. They got me to try masala cob here before it was on the menu and have to say was expecting it to be overspiced but was instead pleasantly surprised with the sweetness of it . The railway chicken was delicious and obviously they got traditional Indian fare too great place for a halal meal.

Decided to go here last minute and definitely didn’t regret it. It’s only a small restaurant so I would definitely recommend booking. The food was great, I had the Lamb Chef Curry which is the photo I posted. It’s not on the menu but what they take home for themselves. All the others were great too which we tried.

My husband and I visited Streetly Balti for an evening meal. The food was fresh, tasty and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We tried the the traditional on the bone lamb and it was supreme!!! The whole experience was lovely, we will definitely be returning. Well recommended. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. They will accommodate with glasses, ice, soft drinks etc. Ask for their Desi style options if you prefer more authentic plates. There is parking in front the restaurant.

My favourite Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant. I’ve eaten in many around the country but this one is something special. From the moment you arrive the service is friendly yet professional but what really makes it special is the food - a little different from the normal Balti house menu but with plenty of choice and fantastic flavours. Fine dining Bangladeshi style and I’ve not found anywhere better.

We have had two lots of the Streetly Balti barbecue pack for a family barbecue...all I can say is "Wow!". It really was wonderful food: and so easy...just take it home and cook it. Thank you to Shab for another fabulous meal!

Great place to get authentic Indian food. The restaurant was busy, but the staff were polite, friendly and hard working. Varied menu, so plenty of dishes to choose from. The food was amazing and portions were a good size. Would definitely recommend!
