Having just retired after 25 years service in the NHS, I feel ashamed to say that I have worked for this organisation, I waited 3 hours and 10 minutes to obtain a prescription after I had told them what was wrong with me. I was away from home and had the misfortune to need out of hours care, people arriving after me were seen before, reception was uninterested and unhelpful, it's a complete cattle market. My consultation lasted less than 5 minutes, what took over 3 hours to get a box of medication out if the cupboard? I am glad to say that I never showed any of my patients such a poor level of service.

Rude!! Was booked an appointment with out of hours by 111 after difficultly breathing because of a bad chest. Was seen in good time for who ever I saw to start with “well, what’s wrong with you?” I was slow explaining being out of breath, she huffed and was clearly annoyed and was then told “you obviously can breathe because you’re here talking to me!” Not interested in anything I had to say and couldn’t get me out the room quick enough. Disgusted by the level of care here!

Receptionist was rude and did not practice patient confidentiality, she repeated my personal details so loud that the whole waiting room could hear. Nurses and doctor were professional and kind though. Understandably this is a fast paced and stressful department to work in but professionalism and patient confidentiality is absolutely paramount to a health service so please improve on that.

Today I went to the walk in centre in Southampton having travelled down from Greater Manchester. The night before. I have say it was a great experience. Short waiting time and then incredible personal service from both Steph and Patricia who listened carefully to my health concern, took me seriously and prescribed what was needed. It was a relief as I am away from home. Fantastic staff and service - I am so grateful for our amazing NHS. Cath

I had to take my daughter to the UTC this morning. We didn't have to wait as we seemed to be the first there. The staff were wonderful and my daughter was well looked after. A definite 5* to these guys, especially being Mothers day and them having to be at work. Absolutely no faulting our experience.

Went to the walk in centre on Saturday with my daughter and I knew my daughter had a bad infection on her finger so we got called in and they said it’s not a infection it’s just tried skin, I was not happy so In the end went to A&E and they said it was an infection and on antibiotics, that’s all I ever wanted. As the infection was getting worse. The Walk in centre are a waste of time and don’t know what they are doing. So I will never ever go there again

Absolutely brilliant service. Receptionist, triage man (a paramedic), and nurse all top drawer. Couldn’t have asked for more. Even got it’s own pharmacy so given the antibiotic I needed.

Quickly and expertly diagnosed my son's chest infection and gave steroid treatment and antibiotics. I was reassured and my son had near instant relief and a good night's sleep. All on a Saturday night. I am forever grateful. What a wonderful service.

The worst place to go and ask for any help! Nurses are very rude also treat people objectively, they certainly do not bring help out of passion for their work. Eye infection does not need any medical treatment, contusion needs only paracetamol definitely not xray or ankle sprain does not need to be checked only covered with ice on sofa. A waste of time, nerves for this place!!!!

Taken over as Devon out of hours provider and no better than the previous contractor. First contact at 11am, promised callback that day, no callback. Called by nurse at just after midnight, promised callback by 2am, no callback. Now 4 days post-op and no pain relief. To quote a song, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss".

I had to visit on a Sunday as advised by 111. Within 30 minutes I had been seen and discharged. The receptionist, triage nurse and other nurse that I saw were all very friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you for an excellent service.

These lovely underpaid workers deserve all the stars. Yes I was there from 11:45 and didn’t get called back until 1:31 simply for a bandage but ppl who come to UC can’t really expect to not wait. The front desk lady was nice and friendly and that lobby was a complete madhouse. Good for her. The handsome guy who wrapped my arm was cool too.

When I arrived at NHS WALK IN CENTRE The receptionist wasn't particularly friendly & I found her a little rude as the way she spoke to me, no smile ,no hello . Radiologist was very kind & friendly, the third person who I got my xray results from was nice but I felt rushed so let's hope if I ever go again things will be a better experience.

Having been unsuccessful in getting an appointment with my own GP, I came to the Urgent Treatment Centre RSH. I was triaged and treated within 45 minutes and left with a course of antibiotics which were much needed. From the staff member on the reception desk to the doctor who treated me, everyone was friendly, efficient and the service was second to none. Seeing a Doctor, being provided with a course of treatment within an hour and all for FREE is an incredible service. Thank you NHS.

Practice Plus has critics, but my experience is that they are really good, pleasant, helpful, friendly people who perform to a high standard, and much much better than my GP surgery.

Bafflingly disinterested in providing any actual help. Call 111 in the Southampton area and they'll almost certainly send you here to be belittled. Then you'll need to get over to the other side of the city for A&E to get any actual medical assistance. Been instructed to bring my child here a few times but it's genuinely impossible to get treatment of any kind. Expect to be kept waiting around a couple hours so they raise some cash from the parking.

I attended for an ankle injury as it didn't warrant an ED visit. Ankle was not fully assessed and the whole affair seemed rushed as though they were trying to hit time targets due to the wait to be seen. Radiographer was lovely and was the only one who didn't seem miserable being there. Apart from that everything was good. I'm glad to work for a different Trust though.

Doctor was useless. Gave wrong diagnosis and made it hard to get treated for actual problem. NO standards. Administration woman was a total ——

Amazing service. I went here this morning and was seen quickly and efficiently. Staff were very friendly too. It's helpful to have a service like this, given how hard it is to get GP appointments.

Been to RSH walk-in at 8am this morning (Sunday), never used them before..Just a brilliant service from getting checked in by receptionist to seeing a nurse within about 15 mins. There were about 8 people in front of me but I saw at least 4 different clinicians coming and going so the waiting Room emptied quickly. Lovely nurse (Room 1 so.sorry didn't get her name), asked questions, looked at my issue, and gave me a course of antibiotics. Thankyou so much to all staff working there, invaluable service.

Excellent service, by friendly helpful staff. My daughter was bitten by a dog. We were in and out within half an hour on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Wound washed dressed and anti biotics issued. Can't fault this valuable service.

Visiting UK from Canada. Ear infection, so annoying, we found this place close to our hotel. So impressed with the clinic. Super polite and friendly staff, wait time was quite short, very professional. I am grateful! Thank you!

Not bad for minor issues. A note that isn’t obviously stated on their website, though, is that their x-ray services stop at 8pm, at least on the day I visited. So any time after that, questionable bone injuries can’t be diagnosed here.

Cystitis! Needed antibiotics! In and out in 25 mins, antibiotics in hand, friendly and professional service. Excellent!

I was referred to the urgent treatment centre on Christmas Eve at about 8pm by NHS 111 as my legs were giving way and , despite pain killers, I was experiencing great pain, but they declined to treat me and did not offer any advice on where I could go for treatment . They said that the xray arranged by my GP would not do any good and nothing could be done about my pain .. Sojething has gone badly wrong . I don’t know why NHS 111 , who had consulted a clinician before referring me, referred me if nothing could be done and why I was not given any useful advice. My round trip of 32 miles was a complete waste of time and money .

Let me start by saying I am usually a huge fan of the NHS and everything they do, but that being said, something is woefully wrong with this unit! Arrived at 12.15 in the afternoon after checking the website and seeing a 90 minute wait guide. Shortly after arriving, the notice in the reception area changed to a 2.5 hour wait. Fine, I thought. I understand that. They get busy. Was seen by triage and it was here I made my biggest mistake. When asked if I was in a lot of pain, I replied that it wasn't too bad and I was managing it ... Don't do this! Don't make my mistake. If you get asked if you're in pain, this is your time to give the single best, Oscar worthy performance of your life that you're in excruciating pain, because if you don't, you will sit there for hour, after hour, after hour watching everybody else go in before you. After 5 hours of nothing I asked if I could know how many people were in front of me and was told that I was "Next on my list". Again I waited and watched person after person go in ahead of me. So I again asked if the receptionist could just kindly double check that I was in fact next, and sure enough I was informed that I was Indeed "next on my list".... After 6 hours and 20 minutes, I gave up. Having not had any food or drink the whole time for fear of missing my name being called, I was done.... But not before having to pay £6 parking for the privilege of being sat all afternoon in a waiting room and not being seen myself. Great.

Excellent service today. My painful shoulder was diagnosed as muscle damage. I was given an exercise regime and told to take ibuprofen 3 times a day. Thankyou to the lovely nurse Diane.

Thank you to All the staff members on duty today when I attended. I had a foot fracture confirmed today, and felt so supported by the 3 treatment staff members in Triage, Xray and Nurse Practitioner. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism.
