I rode 165 miles on my motorbike to have their "full English breakfast" and yes, it was worth every mile. This is a cafe, roadhouse, restaurant under new ownership has been refurbished to a high standard. The venue, menu, service, and food are all excellent.

Since visiting for the first time in June 2020, only a few days after it had opened, it has become one of my favourite places and I have been over 70 times since. The food is great with a few menu surprises you will be happy you tried. It has a strong reputation now with the motorbike community hosting a very popular bike night every Thursday. The place you can relax with your partner, take the kids or take your friends. The interior design is comforting as well as the covered garden. The staff are accommodating and will go out of their to run around for you to make your visit special. Try this place anytime of the day.

I've been going to the Iron Bull since it has opened. It's like home from home. Paul the owner is a top bloke and very friendly. All the staff and really nice / friendly. The food is very nice. If you're ever in the area, I'd swing by.....you won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10 👍

I have been going to here every week for the past 5 months or so, and it has honestly transformed my experience as a rider. The social experience here at the roadhouse is truly unmatched and I have never felt more comfortable and at home at a place that wasn't my home like I do at the roadhouse. Paul the owner is an outstanding host and does his very best for everyone that chooses to stop at the Iron Bull. Thank you for so many memories and I cannot wait for more! Vanilla Latten Nic :)

My first visit here with my husband. Fantastic atmosphere and owner greeted us as we arrived from our wet ride. Waiting staff very friendly and double checked our order after my husband ordered a vegetarian burger instead of meat. Chicken burger was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to many more visits.

Food is good quality with good pricing, service is quick and friendly. Thursday bikes nights are something you'll want to go to, personally I think this place is 10x better than Loomies in every aspect. The owner also has put a lot of effort into this place over the past year and continues to do so. Edit: 08/04/2023 After a long winter we went for a late breakfast whilst the sun is shining. Quality food as per usual!

I usually enjoy my breakfasts here but today was not one of those occasions. Would prefer traditionally British cut bacon than the American streaky stuff but hey. Tasty sausages. Fluffy pancakes. Mushrooms were full of water and not much flavour. Not sure if the tomato was meant to be grilled, fried or what but it seemed pretty fresh. I was mostly disappointed with the amount of oil that was on the plate. It was clean oil at least but even still a couple of seconds to drain/rest/dry would have been better than what I was presented with. I wasn’t sure of the extent but when I lifted the bowl my beans were in, it was quite clear as it was dripping heavily and whilst trying to take a photo, inadvertently dripped it onto my trousers. Overall, today was a bit of a shame really because I usually enjoy the food here but just not today.

Came here for bike night. Its a great place normally but on Thurs night bike night it's even better for a drink and to meet up with other bikers. The food was great though 4 quid for the chips is a bit steep!! Could do with lowering the price of those! Apart from that 1 moan it was still an enjoyable evening.

I used to visit here when it was the Red Lion Pub, and also the 'Y Knot Inn.' Hadn't been down to Basingstoke for a while, and a friend said the place had completely changed. The food was very good (much better than the previous businesses). I had the Vegan Thai Spiced Burger - and I am not vegan by the way, but it sounded good on the menu, and IT WAS EXCELLENT! Very flavoursome, well cooked, and lovely chips. I'd definitely have this again, but may try the South African Sausage next time.

Popped in on the way to Farnborough. I follow their page on Facebook and had seen several positive mentions on the uk biker cafe Facebook group, especially around breakfast!! I was greeted by a lovely lady who was tidying up outside, she said to go in and make myself comfortable. I ordered tea (Yorkshire tea!! My favourite!!) and a small breakfast. I swapped the disgusting blood sausage for a hash brown, no additional charge, and waited for my breakfast. As I was waiting, I took in the biker memorabilia and pictures that decorate the restaurant. Was chatting to the front of house manager, she was telling me about the biker nights they have, where they launch the smoker and do great smoked and BBQ food. Breakfast was superb. Good quality food. Eggs great. Sausage was quality. Bacon just right. Throughly enjoyed it. Good value at just over £12 for 2 teas and breakfast. Finally saw Paul who runs the place. He cooked breakfast and it was smashing. They are getting a new chef soon so hoping they can at least match Paul’s quality cooking!!

Great place with a lot of character. Very friendly staff and very good food. The breakfast is amazing. Sausages and black pudding very high quality. At last a place ro have a good fry up at. Looking forward to trying their other food too. Some South African specialties on the menu that definitely will be ordered soon

Awesome place to visit! Great food and service. The new menu is all South African delicacy and is not to be found anywhere close. Highly recommended!

Thursday bike night. Bbq on and a great range of beers on offer. Service was warm and friendly. Old school bike night.

Popped in here on a recent Biker night event. The motorcycles were cool and all but the venue lacked atmosphere. We all had burgers that were being cooked outside. For what they cost they were not the greatest and we had beef, chicken and veggie between us. Not sure what their normal menu would be like but their desserts looked nice.

Motorcycle cafe, although we arrived by car and there was space for cars too...wouldn't be on a sunny day I'm sure as it gets packed with bikes. Breakfast was really good and great prices. Toilets are clean and have baby changing facilities. Staff are lovely, service a little slow but probably because we arrived before the main staff shift started. Overall really worth a stop on your journey especially if you like looking at bikes.

I arrived with good intentions of not eating too much...that all went out of the window very quickly. Such a lovely place, people are super friendly and helpful and the food was great. Absolutely recommended to bikers and non-bikers alike

Super friendly guy behind the bar. The carrot 🥕 cake was really nice 👌 tea was good to as we was out on the 🏍 but we have discussed going one night to sample the food & drink. A great outside seating area under cover or in the garden. Inside the pub was spotless.

Quite busy this morning but our service was still very speedy. We ordered teas, pancakes with scramble & bacon, and an omelette with cheese, mushrooms, bacon and a sausage on the side. Piping hot until the last bite. Really recommend the omelette - especially if you like a cheese pull 🤤

Popped in for breakfast as part of a car club I'm in. The staff were very nice & friendly. The food was good and good value for money (with the exception of the hash brown being swamped in grease). Will definitely go back, great venue for our car club meets although the car park is a little on the small side!
