This place has everything. Paninis, hot and cold sandwiches, pizza, coffee, *groceries*, and popsicles! The owner (Mr. Romero) was jovial and friendly and really brightened my day! I had the Thai Chicken wrap which was toasted, delicious and very reasonably priced. They had several common household items and groceries for sale which was very convenient. The place is very clean and charming. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended for lunch!

Found this hidden gem when searching for a new spot to try food for lunch/dinner. All the positive reviews & great sounding food on the menu made up my mind that this is where I was going immediately. Upon arrival, I was met with a blast from the past with a mom and pop feel. I loved it. It was homey, clean, and plenty of sunshine coming through the front windows. Both owners greeted me with very warm hospitality. I ordered a mix of a few sandwiches, drinks, and a pizza. Everything was as I expected; fresh, tasty, and great portions, all for a really great price. Thanks to the reviews and even better experience in person, I’ve found a new spot that I will be regular for. Hats off to the owners who were genuine, kind, and so down to earth. I will be back!

Find of the year! Cute little neighborhood market/sandwich shop. Super friendly and engaging fellas - and one of the best Reubens I've ever had. Will definitely be back anytime I have an appointment at Bayview, and just to bring my family too!

We live just across the street from here and it's been one of our favorite spots for Friday dinner. Everything is delicious and fresh. The place has such a warm atmosphere and you can always count on good conversation. If you live in the area, it's a must visit to get to know your neighbors!

Had lunch while waiting Bayview Medical Center. Enjoyed a delightful meal at this charming neighborhood cafe. Opted for the turkey club – fresh deli-sliced turkey on generously sized toast. Engaged in a wonderful conversation with the owner, who's dedicated to the community and takes pride in the service and food. Excited about returning to this fantastic place!

Delicious food. Was hungry after a doctors appointment and they did not disappoint. This pizza was only $7.99. A WHOLE 12 INCH PIZZA. cooked to perfection. Bye bye Domino’s, this has set my standards up a little more. Not to mention it’s a small grocery store!!! That’s amazing for the people that live around. i definitely will be back. Great place! The owners were very friendly and the food was perfect for lunch. The eggplant and chicken paninis hit the spot. Nice neighborhood feel and would definitely recommend.

Possibly one of the friendliest places I’ve been for lunch in a while! The staff is very accommodating and helpful and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Caesar has been a joy to talk to every time I have gone in. Would recommend for anything from a quick lunch, a morning coffee, or a nice baked treat!

Wonderful people and wonderful place. Exactly what you would expect from honest small business owners. The place gives you a small town community atmosphere that other chains could never replicate. Food is also fantastic and made to order.

You'll have to look hard to find better food around the Bayview campus. Italian hoagie and the chicken quesedilla are my go to. The grilled reuben and pastrami sandwich are great as well. The service is super friendly too.

Super hidden gem but I’m so glad I stumbled upon them. Great sandwiches for a great price! The staff was very sweet and welcoming and the Reuben was delicious. This place should be getting a lot more recognition

Just WOW. Sounds cliche, but leaving reviews aren't my thing....But when I'm blown away, I want others to experience a wonderful thing as well :) prices are very fair, food was great, but what blew me away to post this review was their Italian cold cut sob. Holy sh$&! I destroyed it before I could take a picture and it was an insane portion so I'm somewhat ashamed of that You have to go get you some!!!

I picked this for lunch due to its proximity to Bayview and am so glad I did! J.C. Is so friendly and took time to chat about the history of the business and the neighborhood. He radiates warmth and is a joy to talk with. He really loves his community and it shows. My mom and I sat outside and it was just lovely. Our sandwiches arrived quickly and were delicious. J.C. even treated us to a visit with his dog, Malcom. Such a nice visit all around!

J.C Romero's. I just recently moved in the neighborhood. Very good food, Tacos,Gyros & The chicken sandwich those are three food that I've gotten there. I love the atmosphere especially the 2 people that own & run the place (Matt & Ceasar) thank you so much for all the yummy food that you guys make...
