    I only give one star because the receptionist/nurse I dealt with previously was nice, kind and caring. She was dealing with me and my kids instead of doctor. Otherwise I would give no star. Dr. Ratna was rude to me on several occasions. I have also experienced lack of professionalism and care from her. The new receptionist has cancelled my 4 months babies vaccination appointment 10mins before scheduled appointment. I was already on my way. The clinic was empty so not that she was busy not to call earlier. The reason was there was no nurse present however the doctor was there but didn’t want to vaccinate…?? Not a good service nor the doctor. My advice is to stay clear from this surgery.

    Reception staff member was kind and helpful, the clinic did not have a welcoming feel though. I was asked in half an hour after my scheduled appointment, and the doctor I saw was rude and rushed me, even though I had booked two appointment slots. The doctor made rude comments, and spoke in a foreign language on the phone when talking to another physician, so I felt my patient confidentiality was breached as I do not know what they said.

    Booked in last week for an ankle injury and had to get an xray and ultrasound however the doctor who made the referral and all other doctors weren't available til 6 days later. Booked in for an in-person appointment to get a review on my ankle and to discuss my results and was told on arrival that it is now a phone appointment and the doctor would call within half an hour. Half an hour passes, no phone call. Called back, was told she was still running late and she'd call me in half an hour. Called back and told the same thing and that they would pass on my request to still be contacted, but the doctor is still late and she'll call when she's available and i'm second priority. Called back again 4 hours later and to check in. Still nothing. Told the same thing she's running late and that I'll have to book another appointment tomorrow. Good luck with this practice. Pay attention to the rating on here because thats the level of service you'll receive. A complete waste of mine, the radiologists and my employers time. And now I still have no idea what my results, when I'll return to work or how to properly care for my injury. Really disappointing and unprofessional.

    Don’t recommend healthcare services of southern cross GP’s. We been going here (south valley, avenue also) just because we like Dr. Minu Philip, who is very polite and compassionate in patient care. Unfortunately, she wasn’t available in our times last few months. And seen another doctor a couple of times, who isn’t much polite or welcoming patients. Another doctor given vaccination to my baby, where she splashed all the meds out, fell over my hubby’s hand. But, when we asked about this, she had her own irrelevant explanation. We are nurses and we know what is an IM injection meant to be and how to give. I lost my 200ish bucks for that injection. They didn’t update my baby’s 1 year vaccinations. As I get updates, from MyGov, I rang them four times, and I was frustrated at the end because ATO deducted subsidy for my child for not meeting immunisation requirements. Then the reception lady took some initiative and updated within minutes. But the other three times, the person who picks up phone have their own explanation and delayed it by saying we will update or Ive written it here to update etc etc.I thought it was a big procedure too but just realised we need to talk firmly otherwise they won’t do anything. Reply: Apparently Dr. Miren’s service we didn’t like either

    The dr doesn’t do babies vaccines… along with a very long list of other things every other gp in Geelong does without issue. Poor communication and rude manner

    I was booked in for an appointment by Meghna around 2:30 pm on Friday (4-1--2022) for a virtual call between 3 pm and 4 pm from the doctor all the card details were taken but I dint receive any calls from the doctor in the specific time slot. So I tried calling back 5 times the same day to check whats happening but no one picked up my calls neither did anyone call back! I went to the clinic again on (Monday 7-11-22 around 2 pm ) as they were not answering the calls to check whats happening and that was the most disappointing experience, the lady on the counter ( Shaheeda ) if that her real name was dint have the attitude to help or listen to the problem in first place told me that it was not her fault that the doctor dint call and she has nothing to do with it as she was not working on the day when the booking was made, told me to take over the counter nasal spray (like I havent tried that before, thanks but are you the doctor???dont recommend medication while working in the health sector if you are not the doctor people will believe you and take it and could be allergic to some products) did not look into the system to check what has happened and blamed the situation on her colleague Meghna. Then made me wait for 40 mins to ask the doctor for the next time slot available and left for a lunch break with the reception unattended after 40 mins she had still not asked the doctor for the next time slot and when asked what can be done now as I urgently need to see the doctor since nearly a week and the clinics at fault for taking booking and not calling so please try to fit in a slot as soon as possible she said very not apologetically " yes but I wasnt working that day so its not my fault and you will have to wait more for me to even ask the doctor for a time as doctors busy" and left the reception again with three patients in the waiting room now who were for sure waiting as the clinic over books and is never punctual with its appointments by this time I had waited 45 mins just to know a time slot she could have just taken my details and given me a call back I was sick in first place and decided to go somewhere else but really needed details to file a complain because I dont know who passes licenses to such clinics where the reception is left unattended with three patients waiting in the waiting room with the main door wide open blocked with a chair on a hot day with insects flying in I was there to get prescribed medication for my hay fever allergies which became even worse because of the clinic being so warm and having open doors. The lady on the reception had zero knowledge about the clinic when I asked who runs the clinic where can I file a complaint she said I dont know I just sit at the reception to help dint want to share her or the doctors details but all good! thanks! for being so helpful!! After all of this I still havent gotten a call back which shows that some people even though working in the health sector just wanna finish their time on the clock take their lunch break and do bare minimum with no intention to understand situations or help patients. I really wish this place gets randomly audited someday and the staff for sure not trained to work health sector. Just a money making organisation under the name of health clinic wouldn't recommend!!

    Dr Ratna was is extremely rude, went to have a Telehealth and the way she spoke to me was absolutely disgusting. I ended up hanging up on her. I usually see an amazing Dr Tsang here but unfortunately he wasn’t available, and ended up speaking to this doctor would not recommend her in anyway!!!!!!

    The worst experience ever!! Very bad customer service, Dr. Ratna was very rude and unprofessional and had worst communication. Wanted to fill a vaccination record and didn’t even get the job done.
