We had an amazing time at Ride. And a huge shout out to Sarah, who went above and beyond for us. We actually extended our stay twice! The location is a short drive into Peniche however we liked the area we were in. Right across from the beach, perfect for surfing. Super kid friendly and lots to do at the hotel. The pool is heated which is perfect for when the wind kicks up.

Super clean & modern surf resort with some English speaking staff. Fantastic games room and children’s play area. Pop art throughout the hotel. A breakfast menu which changes daily. A bar, a heated pool with built in jacuzzi. A skate bowl, a bouldering wall and a volleyball net. You can hire boards and also book in surf lessons. They also have a spa! Very comfortable rooms. Robes provided. Only thing is our safe didn’t work when we first checked in.

Amazing place! Great price/value, super friendly people, very clean place with all the stuff you need (nice gym, great spa, heated pool, board & wetsuit rental + more), a nice 10 min walk away from the beach and close to a number of surf spots. They also have a large social area where one can work or hang out.

The hotel is really cool. It has potential for a fun and sporty experience. It is clean. However, there is no ambience at all, the staff were bland and it is very expensive for what it offers. We went to the hotel without a reservation, knowing that the price in booking was €150 per night. When we got there the receptionist asked for €180 instead. We finally got it for €150 but felt ackward. Breakfast excluded. Spa closed. No-one around. A shame that a place founded by EU is not properly run.

Absolutely stay here! Nicest people at the hotel. We surfed, biked the beaches, rock climbed, played volleyball, jumped in the pool, played pool and video games in the game room, checked out the skate ramp, and had a few drinks in their lounge area. They have everything for you available at the hotel - within walking distance to the beach. Purpose built hotel for fun and the great people there make the whole thing amazing. I even left something very important there (after we left) and they have been nothing short of excellent in helping me get it back. It’s a must stay.

We have had a great stay and learned our first surf skills! Good breakfast although bad coffee. Nice family room, relaxing pool. Dinner quality is moderate, can be improved.

Amazing hotel for surfers. A lot of surfspots are nearby. Also the gym and sauna are great for the lay days. Healthy breakfast with fresh fruits. Everything was very clean. Comfy beds and great shower. Super friendly staff. A lot of outdoor facilities. A good place to reload mentally and physically. We will be back!

Fun alright! Original, amusing and highly comfortable. The location is amazing, specially having bikes at our disposable. The Bar is a very lively place to hang out and have some crazy cocktails and the sunset colors from the terrace is something you don't want to miss even on windy days. We will return soon ;)

My son and I wanted to skate a bit at the outdoor skatepark — arrived there at 8pm, the place closes at 9pm. The lady at the reception desk told us it’s 15 EUR per person for half a day and that we can use other services like gaming room which we were not interested in. So 30 EUR to skate 1 hour outside in bad light. We wanted to pay a fair price but she told us it is not negotiable and Ty she can’t control if we go somewhere else in the facility. She told us we can go to another skatepark 30 km away.

This place is pretty cool. Lots to do on site and a very close walk to surfing. Highly recommend!!
