Hidden
gem
on
the
hights
of
Algés.
Cozy
and
comfortable
restaurant
with
a
wide
indoor
room
and
a
large
terrace
with
great
views
over
the
ocean.
The
menu
is
split
between
land
and
see
and
don't
disappoint,
the
items
proposed
are
varied
and
all
sound
delicious!
We
opted
for
the
weekly
soup
(mussels),
the
fish
soup
to
start
with
and
we
added
a
couple
of
octopus
croquesttes
to
share.
Both
soup
were
rich
in
flavour
and
full
of
fish
and
mussels.
The
croquettes
were
also
really
good
and
a
good
addition.
The
waitress
recommended
us
two
wines
and
she
was
kind
enough
to
make
us
try
both.
We
opted
for
a
red
wine
from
the
Alentejo
region.
We
couldn't
resit
and
opted
for
the
cheescake
with
wild
berries
and
the
chocolate
mousse
served
with
banana
sorbet.
Excellent.
On
the
plus
side:
-
Excellent
service
and
all
staff
speak
English
-
Beautifuly
presented
dishes
and
expertly
cooked
-
Knowlegeable
about
food
and
wine
-
Nice
and
comfortable
surroundings
On
the
downside:
-
Not
much
to
say
but
the
mains
were
very
rich
and
I
would
have
loved
some
acidic
food
to
balance
the
richness
of
the
black
pork
or
the
octopus.
A
few
pickles
or
a
vinegrette
would
have
helped.
-
The
cheescake
was
served
frozen
which
is
unsual
and
made
it
difficult
to
eat,
even
using
a
knife
and
fork.
I
would
visit
again
though
as
the
value
for
money
is
excellent.
