Very expensive club some staff were nice but others not so welcoming. We also got a totally unnecessary hurry from a marshal when we were constantly up with the group ahead who were a little slow but OK we were round in 4 hours which considering it was booked solid was acceptable. They need to remember people are paying a lot of money to play the course and enjoy themselves and not be so arrogant. I even tried to find the marshal after to tell him how little value he was adding to visitors experience. Went to other courses in the area with much more welcoming and friendly attitude. There is plenty of choice so wouldn't rush back to this one.

Excellent golf course. We really enjoyed the round. No sign of slow play and a nice selection of long and short holes with plenty of trees and lakes to test all level of golfers. Would definitely return.

And today, without notice. They close down Pinhal for a week too. Been in Vilamoura for 12 Days in december, and its been a Challenge. Courses, when they open are ok. But prices on drivingrange and the non service in the clubhouse is not gonna do it, for me.

Maybe unfairly our visiting 4 ball had declared Pinhal as the lowest ranking courses of our trip and like most things in life we were to wrong to make the assumption before playing. Its a lovely course, peaceful and honest in its surroundings and full of charm. All of us agreed that it provided a pleasant surprise in terms of both its quality and playability. I have to be honest I had made full use of the bars in the marina of Villamora the night before celebrating our friends birthday and was more than worse for wear as we got to the first, in usual fashion I hit probably the best tee shot of the week and then followed it up with a monster 3 wood in to leave myself a easy chip on to try and make the birdie, I missed it but will not forget that start to the round, especially as my playing partners had already written me off for the round! Its pine tree lined holes and short par 4s give the impression of an easier round than we managed but the greens were true and cut really nice and tight. On my list to play again when I return to the Algarve next year.

Although an older course, greens were in excellent condition, wider course so any off target shot is easily recovered, would play again.

Played here a few year s ago testing course. Not as well known as some others in the area but very good surrounded with umbrella pine trees to narrow your fairways.

Loved our stay at Dom Pedro golf Hotel Vilamoura. Bedroom was very clean and spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, linen changed every few days along with towels. Breakfast was one of the best I've had abroad. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk to the marina. All in all it is everything needed for a chilled holiday. I would definitely return.

We had an amazing time. The course is kept to immaculate standards and the staff do there upmost to help. We ate lunch several days at the club house and enjoyed the food immensely.

Most unhelpful staff. Had to rent a separate bag for a 12 Yr old novice who played a few shots on 3 holes out of 18, despite renting a buggy. Overall the course is in good condition but my first encounter with staff really put me off.

One of my favourite courses. I have playing handicap of 20 and it gives you a chance. Course is well maintained and is a pleasure to play.

I went for a full bag fitting at the Titleist performance centre at Dom Pedro Pinhal. Joao and David are awesome guys, very knowledgeable and very patient. We split the fitting in two days which was a great idea to avoid being tired. I felt like a pro (with a tendency to slice the ball) and learnt a lot about the different club and shaft setups. The right setup makes a huge difference. I highly recommend coming here if you're looking to get fit or want to get a lesson. It's really a great place for golf lovers. Obrigado!
