We couldn't read the menu well as there were no English translations, so ordered with very little help from the waiter and were more than pleasantly surprised. The beef and pork were probably the best we've ever tasted.

Plenty of variety of Portuguese dishes, both meat and fish. Yummy deserts too. Efficient service. Recommended.

I happen to be around there by myself for lunch and I opened the door to this relatively small restaurant. It was full of locals and menus only available in Portuguese. I ordered a plate of cured ham to start with and followed with a steak cooked medium with garlic butter and served with winter vegetables. I would go again but next time I'll order what most of people seemed to be eating which was sea food served out small casseroles. Overall, nice family atmosphere and great value for money.

Only a single table was occupied in the restaurant when I arrived. But the waiter was rude and did not offer a place to sit. He literally showed me the door to exit. :/ NEVER AGAIN.

I’ve been coming here for 30 years now and I’ve watched a small shabby:ish cafe with a 7 table annex for lunch services grow to a pleasant modern one room restaurant. All this because of earnings due to the food, for me especially the sauce they do to grilled steak. Everything is good ( and the waiters and managers have also ben here 30 years) but do try the ‘naco de vitela’ or açorda.
