Do not use this store to buy anything that needs installation by them. We bought and paid for a pellet burning stove (salamander) from them 5 months ago and they would only guarantee it on condition that their chosen workers installed it. They demanded the money upfront to install it - over €700. We paid the money last year and they still haven't installed it. We can't even get a date for the installation. They sent an 'engineer' out to specify the project after 2 months wait, he misspecified the materials required, a team came 3 weeks ago, destroyed our fireplace, then told us they didn't have the materials to install the salamander. Now we can't get them to come back and do the installation. No one in Leroy Merlin customer service takes responsibility for a project. There is no point of contact for the customer. Every time you ring them a different person answers who knows nothing about your project. Meanwhile, it is January, the nights are very cold, we have no fireplace anymore because their work men destroyed it knowing they didn't have the materials to install the salamander. This store's service is s disgrace!

Don't use these guys they are so dishonest. We purchased a Salamander wood burner with the understanding that they would install it. After paying an additional fee for their engineer to survey and specify the installation, we then had to pay, in advance for the work being done, and were given a basic specification of the work. Eight weeks later they finally send their installation company to do the work but they couldn’t complete the installation because this hadn’t been specified properly. We now don’t have a fireplace which was removed, a wall that needs plastering and no Salamander to heat the living room. Leroy Merlin take your money and then leave you to sort out their problem.

Love this place. Prices are reasonable and the staff are always helpful and mainly speak good English. BUT we have used their installation service twice and on both occasions there have been horrendous problems. The store do not have their own installers - they source the work out. If you don't use the store's installation service it can affect the product guarantee

Actually they were very helpful, I wanted to buy a new wall heater for my bathroom, there were none in boxes so I asked a assistant, so the display one was the last they had and they would not getting anymore. So I asked if I could get anymore off it ,sure enough they dropped the price ,so instead of €46 I got it for €35 and I did not have to take it out of a box ! Happy Happy Happy

Do not order online from them unless you click and collect. They outsource the delivery to CTT who basically drives by the house to pretend they are working, without stopping, and now I am forced to go and pick it up. I tried picking up after the first attempt, and after wasting an hour at Penich CTT, I was told I had to wait for the second attempt. They just DROVE BY! again. Which is insulting. I am now waiting for the email to confirm I can pick-up the items. So I can return them to the store in person as I do not have time to install these items. IT was suposed to be 24 hours, its been a week. I was able to get in touch with customer service to get this cancelled as I won't have the time to work on this project before I leave Portugal.
