As a Celtic fan this was a must see while in Lisbon. The stadium looks like it's almost unchanged from when the Lisbon Lions brought the big cup to Glasgow in 1967. When we arrived there was a league 2 game on (only about 250 fans watching). Two fellow Celtic fans were leaving the ground as we arrived and kindly passed on their tickets so we could enter the ground. Got myself a beer and enjoyed the feeling of nostalgia.

A Celtic fan's favourite stadium outside of Glasgow. Looks the same as it did in 67. A really cool stadium. There's not much info online about how to get in. I walked to the south entrance and there was a gate opened. I just walked in. The staff there seemed pretty okay with fans visiting. Apparently celtic fans visit it every day.

11/4/23. Pilgrimage to the Estadio Nacionale in Lisbon, where Celtic won the European Cup on 25 May 1967. Met a fellow Celtic supporter Liam and his wife Katie, the security guard gave us an impromptu tour of the stadium with all the famous bits from '67..... So glad to have done this although its a bizarre stadium with one of the sides completely open and only 35k capacity. Just to stand where Billy held the trophy was a good feeling...

A must for all Celtic fans. Very accessible to get too by train bit of a trek up but well worth it. Enjoy refreshments at bar before or after the moderate climb through scenic forested area. In the heat of Lisbon the fans came in their thousands to see the Bhoys become champions 67 Hail! Hail!

A pilgrimage for celtic fans. Went to see were the Lisbon lions did their magic. The security guards had absolutely no problems bringing us for a tour of the stadium.

The stadium was closed however the security guard , Carlos, saw me opened the gates and took me on a guided tour. Had goose bumps all the way around. Into the tunnel, changing rooms and the area where Caesar lifted the trophy. Highly recommend

The staff here are fantastic, incredibly accommodating and polite. Free to go in for a look around, a truly humbling experience as a Celtic fan. Incredible stadium, absolutely beautiful, a far cry from today's stadia. I would love to come back and watch a game here. If you were only to win the big cup once I can't think of a more appropriate stadium to do so.

If you're a Celtic fan in Lisbon you're coming here. Enjoy the pilgrimage it's everything you think it'll be, I've got Goosebumps writing this review, what a place. Ps slip the security guys a bung for a few beers, they don't need to let you in but they're happy to do so, they're absolute legends

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful stadium, with spectacular surroundings. It is just a pity to be a little run down and in need of urgent remodeling. (Original) Um estádio muito bonito, com uma envolvência espetacular. Só é pena estar um pouco degradado e a necessitar de uma remodelação urgente.

Went there as all Celtic supporters have to, a pilgrimage to walk in the footsteps of gods, security staff show you round and give a great tour of all the main areas.

Great old stadium, home of the famous Celtic Lisbon Lions victory in 1967. We visited for a B-SAD game, tickets were €1 (cash only) and there not very many fans. But it’s a great stadium set in a forest location with a good nature walk nearby

We attended a heavy metal festival at the stadium. The security and organisation where on point! I only wish there were more people tending to the chemical toilets, they were lacking paper and dirty.

We turned up at the stadium this afternoon, out of the blue, and were greeted by a Security Guard who couldn't have made us feel more welcome. He opened the stadium for us and allowed us access to the tunnel, pitch and area where the Lisbon Lions lifted the cup. Can't thank the guys at the stadium enough for allowing us the opportunity.

Historic stadium and worth a visit. B-SAD are not a great team. The stadium opens about 30 mins before kick off. Entrance is on the east side

Barebones venue, long lines to get in, barely any signage, looks like it hasn't been updated since 1895. If you're going to a show here you'll need at least 45 minutes to get out once the show ends. Not close to city center, so your best bet is getting an Uber in and out.

Just came here to see where the Lisbon Lions created history. Nice to look at and not far from centre but couldn't get in which was disappointing.

Super nice concert location with amazing sound because of the natural shaped amphitheater! Also the entrance and exit was organized very well! Another big plus is that it feels quite spacious even if it’s very crowded!
