This has to be some of the best Jamaican food in the entire Chicago area. What a hidden gem! Mainly a take-out operation with a few chairs, the food traveled home really well because it was carefully packaged. The flavors are incredible and the portions are SO generous. Very kind service too! We had a jerk chicken platter (dark), a jerk rib platter, and side of oxtails. We did cabbage, mac and cheese, and rice and peas for our sides. Everything perfectly seasoned and delicious but the mac and cheese especially stood out for the sides. All the meat was tender with a nice crispy char and they didn’t skimp on the oxtail gravy at all! In fact they gave us plenty of extra jerk sauce and gravy. So excited to return again and again!

My husband and I ordered today from here for Carryout and it was delicious. The jerk chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our two sides mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were pretty tasty too. We tried the chicken Patty's and I loved the curry seasoning! We wanted to try the beef patty but unfortunately, it was sold out. We look forward to trying the beef patty next time!

Great food and friendly staff. Ordered the chicken, rib tips, goat curry, plantains, mashed potatoes and rice and beans. Forgot the plantains and gave us mac and cheese instead which was good and made with real cheese! THE SAUCE IS INCREDIBLE!!!

I am SOOOOOOOO happy they came to Elburn!!!!! We tried the chicken, shrimp and chicken curry plus all the sides and it did not disappoint! Everything was made fresh, including the green beans. We will definitely be getting food from here often!

We had jerk rib tips & catfish some fire mac & cheese and cabbage🤗 oxtails was amazing rice & beans mashed potatoes were good too just needed more gravy on them but Everything was very flavorful huge portions service was quick and friendly will visit again very soon

This place is amazing! The gf and I loved it. I got the jerk chicken dark meat, mac & cheese and rice and beans… the best food i have tasted in a very long time. Already want to go back!

I rarely give 5 stars, but I was really impressed with the quality and outstanding flavor of my order. I ordered a whole jerk chicken, curry goat (entree only), a large cabbage and large candied yams with a small plantain. Tons of leftovers but all this food was barely $50. Apart from the excellent value, the flavors of their jerk and curry dishes were the best I've had period. The candied jams are without a doubt in the top 10 of the greatest things I've ever eaten. The spicy sauce they serve on the side is out of this world delicious. The morning after my takeout I woke up and all I could think about was that dinner from the night before, so I started my day with leftovers. Still so amazing! I really hope the kind people that bless us with this amazing food have a long and very prosperous venture in their business.

Outstanding food! I always thought Jamaican food was spicy but they put the sauce on the side (the jerk chicken had a little hint but it was ok). You can believe all the wonderful comments! You can't go wrong with any of it! We tried ... Jerk chicken, rib tips, oxtail Rice and beans Yams, green beans, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and my all time favorite SWEET PLANTAINS!!! Great good food, generous portions, amazing customer service and FAST! Coming back for more 😉👍

This restaurant was amazing! It is definitely more for takeout, but we ate in at their one table, and felt very welcome. It was well worth the drive from Naperville. My favorite was the rib tips with the mild jerk sauce, but we also really enjoyed the chicken and shrimp. The mac and cheese was also excellent.

Had the jerk chicken and shrimp with Mac n Cheese and beans and rice. Everything was phenomenal and full of flavor in every bite!!! Chicken was so tender and juicy it fell right off the bone!! Shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Mac and cheese was excellent as was the rice and beans! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

This food was absolutely incredible! I was tired of driving all over kingdom come just to get some decent Caribbean Food! I stumbled on this place and I will NEVER look back. So delicious and well cooked! Easy to order and pick up! Place smelled and looked clean upon pickup. Food was ready ON TIME! Those who eat at Caribbean food places know that being on time is almost a joke. I will be back next week!

Wow! We went for the first time last night for take out. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the flavor is excellent. The candied yams were fabulous, I don't know what kind of magic they have sprinkled on them but make sure you try them. Mac and cheese may be the best I've gotten from a restaurant ever. Don't miss out on this restaurant!
