    All I can say is WOW! My husband and I were completely blown away by Shortys.... the food is TO DIE FOR! We ordered the Gyros and the sloppy Joe and both were heavenly. As we were finishing up- the owner (Shorty) was just pulling pie out of the oven- so of course we had to get a slice of each the cherry and apple. The cherry was quite good but the apple was phenomenal. We travel the country always looking for good food and Shortys was by far the best we've had in Illinois. If you're looking for a place to go for great food... this is it.

    This place was awesome! I had the Jacked Up Burger and it was delicious and HUGE! The owner, Shorty, was so kind and you can tell she puts a lot of care into her restaurant. This was a really pleasant surprise to find on the drive home. 10/10 would recommend!

    Ordered the Friday fish fry. Had the 2 piece baked cod, salad & baked potato. It was extremely delicious. Shorty is a very nice/friendly person. All the food was packaged very well & hot when getting it home.

    Omg ... food was so good I couldn’t even get the picture. I LOVE shorties 💕 me & my husband go there often!! Food is delicious! She definitely knows we will be coming back. & really great lady. Such sweet personality

    New to town this is the first place I've tried and not a single regret she made me a gyro cheeseburger. 🤤 🤤 Which was delicious definitely coming back and trying more of her food

    I travel and eat out consistently because of work and this is a must stop shop if you're in or near the area. The owner takes a lot of time and care to make sure her customers are happy. Excited for my next trip out here!

    My wife and I agree that Shorty's has the best burgers we've had in a long time, and the best in the stateline area. Can't wait to order again!

    Best food in the stateline! Ingredients are always fresh. The hotdog sloppy Joe's and burgers are delicious! Pasta salad is amazing.

    Food was ok, hasbrowns a bit oily… not great. Bathroom is a train wreck… dirty. Problem is it shares a common hallway with a bar.

    Came in to Shortys because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed!! I’m on the road a lot for work and always miss some home cooking, and this is as close as you get! I ordered the bacon bleu burger and it was delicious! I also had chips and her homemade dip! Everything was delicious. Will recommend this place to everyone!
