We purchased a Matrix spin bike and the console has an error message. We went back to the store he took our information and sent in a service request. We waited a few weeks to hear from a service agent....nothing. We called and they found our service request didn't go through. They resent request and we still have not heard anything. We are going on 2-3 months of waiting. I have now sent a private message on their Facebook page and no response. Worst customer service ever.

Non-existent customer service. I purchased an Octane Q47xi the weekend before Wisconsin shut their gyms due to Covid (Early March 2020). (With warranty, this machine cost me about $5300.) Between my boyfriend and I, we used this a vast majority of the days, however in summer, we naturally moved our fitness back outside. Around the last week of 2020, an error popped up on the screen "22 left stride." The machine was, and still is, in factory warranty. I read the customer warranty booklet that came with the machine, and I had the option to contact Johnson or Octane directly to handle this issue. The service at Johnson was absolutely fantastic, so I called them to report the problem. A week or so later I got an email saying that Johnson had received my complaint, and that if it was covered by the manufacturer, the manufacturer would be contacting me to set up an in-house service appointment. Weeks go by, no call from Octane. I call Johnson back and ask what's going on. I'm told Octane was sold to some other company, and they just aren't doing that great of a job with customer service right now. I'm told the manager will contact Octane again, but I may have even better luck contacting Octane directly. (Now I'm worried. I also purchased an extended warranty on this machine from Johnson, and they have made it clear they are in the business of excuses, not service.) So here I am, a month and some later, still no call from Octane, and Johnson can't be bothered to call me to see how things are going. I paid over $5000 for my machine, the manufacturer doesn't care that the product is having an issue, and Johnson doesn't see the need for repeat customers.

The staff here is the most knowledgeable in the area. They sell high quality products, they know a lot about what they sell, and they back their products up with good warranties and personal service. Highly recommend!

What a great experience!!! Started with Peter spending about an hour with me in the store. I kinda knew what I wanted coming into the store and really had no price point. I tried multiple treadmills and walked away to think about it. I was settled on the Horizon 7.4 AT treadmill and called Peter to purchase but then had to pause the process because of a bunch on dental work I needed. Peter reached out a few weeks later with an overstock sale they were having and I made the deal! Couldn't be happier with the treadmill and the delivery crew was A+ very knowledgeable and had this thing setup in no time money well spent. I would not hesitate buying other equipment in the future from Johnson. This treadmill has had a bunch of negative reviews and I do not see why..

Kind of got the used car salesman routine, "gotta buy now" "due to covid will not have inventory for quite a long time" on and on etc.

Peter was selling me a Matrix T75 treadmill with the 16" screen. When I walked into the store I had an idea what I was looking for but I was hoping to talk to someone that was knowladgeble and could answer all my questions. Peter was great and explained in detail about the treadmills I was looking at and it made my decision easy. Their white glove delivery service was also great. You defiantly get what you pay for. Its nice to buy from a local dealer. I can call them directly if I have any issues. No third party service that take weeks to respond. Previously I bought a treadmill from a major sporting goods store . I ended up having to return it and that whole process was literally a nightmare.

Service was very professional, prompt and knowledgeable from our sales tech, Randy, to our delivery service. We would highly recommend Johnson Fitness.

I would not recommend buying anything from this place. They had our gym equipment delivered and we were missing parts. We had no answers and told we have to wait. Waited over a month while they are holding on to our money. Never got any times when the unit would be fully functional. We cancelled our order and we are still waiting for our money! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau on this company. Peter and Randy are the guys we worked with. Of course neither one of them do anything on their days off while you sit and wait for your completed gym equipment. What a HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE!!!! They are terrible at calling you back on updates or any information. I have to call again today to check about our money. The last part of this story is I was told by Peter we had to wait to get our refund until they can see if all parts were brought back. News flash- we didn't have all the parts for the gym equipment! Go on Facebook for equipment- better experience for sure!! I wouldn't have given them one star- they should be a negative star for this business!

Bought a treadmill from here when all gyms were closed, roughly a year ago. Peter pointed me in the right direction and showed me multiple options as well as being very knowledgeable on the equipment in store. Recently had wifi issues with my treadmill and Peter again helped with staying in contact with the manufacturer in order to get my equipment back to working conditions. While it did take longer than I expected, I place no blame on him since he was working as the middle man. Overall great customer service and a friendly atmosphere upon entrance. So glad I went with a matrix treadmill!

We were looking for an exercise bike and and stopped in to the Johnson Fitness & Wellness 2000 S Sylvania Ave .Sturtevant, WI 53177. We were helped by Peter. He listened to what we were looking for and what we wanted to use it for. He asked a lot of questions to determine what the best bike would be for us. He suggested a Vision U60. We tried it out at the store and we liked it so we purchased it. We decided to bring it home ourselves and assemble it. He helped us load it into our SUV. We got it home and I put it together in a few hours and it works great. We had a few questions about the exercise programs. We contacted him about this and he sent us a manual which pretty much answered all our questions. Overall the experience, support and bike we received was great. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I have a Circ massage chair given to me by my daughter that I absolutely love. I have been using it almost daily for a few years now for back aches and tension headaches. I can't imagine life without it lol. Thanks to the fireworks my dog chewed through the control cord and I called the store and they have been extremely helpful in helping me get it back up and working. Thank you for your help and providing an excellent product.

The salesmen were really pushy and they weren’t respecting my requests I also didn’t approve of how they included the warranty without asking when we first purchased the treadmill. It gave me and my fiancé buyers remorse and we decided to cancel the purchase. They also weren’t respecting my first choice and brought me and my fiancé to the most expensive treadmill that we later returned. Not to mention they called the one I was looking at junk. I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of!

Peter was wonderful, very helpful. He explained that the benefit of buying through the store is the customer service is seamless in case you need any assistance. If I would've bought off the website, I would've had a hard time dealing with a local store for service. I'm glad I picked up the phone and called instead of ordering from the website. Horrible customer service paid 249.00 dollars for a so called white glove delivery from a Johnson crew instead was delivered by some other logjstic company with no clue on how to set it up wiring was hooked up backwards and did not center the belt or balance it told my wife how to do it. I had knee surgery and wanted this to help with rehab from time of purchase to time it was finally set up correctly was six weeks. they will not even return my calls anymore maybe they will read this instead. Thanks Johnson Fitness !!!!

I purchased an Octane elliptical in early August and was told it would be delivered by mid-to-late August. I called back first week of September and was told to give it more time and if it wasn't delivered in a month they would upgrade the console for free. I called back in early October and was informed the elliptical wouldn't be available until December (or possibly January) and they didn't know anything about the console upgrade. When I told them to cancel the order I was offered $650 for me to wait it out. I found the same elliptical at the same price at Top Fitness and only had to wait 10 days for delivery. I know Johnson sells quality brands but the lack of communication and failure to provide reasonable expectations to the consumer was unacceptable.

Peter was very helpful with everything. I actually went there because they are an authorized Green Mountain Grill dealer and they had everything that I was looking for in stock. Now for some grilling!

My Husband and I went to Johnson fitness in Sturtevant WI to educate ourselves and then purchase a treadmill. Justin and Ian greeted us promptly when we walked in the door. I explained what We were looking for in a treadmill and Justin took his time and listened to what was important to us and then he showed us a few different models. Justin took the time to educate us in the difference between the different models that he thought would best suit us. We tried them both out and decided which one was best for us. Great place for all your fitness needs

I attended an asana class at MB FINANCIAL PARK in Rosemont, Illinois on a Sunday June 23 at 10:00; they offer classes that are free all summer (through August 11th) Sunday mornings - how amazing! There are different instructors for every day so it is guaranteed to challenge your body every time! Marie Youkhana looks about twenty eight years old and has perfect endurance, strength, and interpersonal abilities - Mind blown! She led the class outside in the park which made this experience exponentially unique as I have never done yoga like this before. The type of yoga practiced was very challenging - I am beyond pleased and thankful for having prior yoga experience because I would have gotten lost with these extremely fast paced movements. There was a balance between vinyasa, hatha, and restorative yoga but the strength conditioning portion within this particular lesson was pretty much on the highest level. She did encourage everyone to go at their own pace, but the park was filled with what looked like very high level yogis. There were probably about 200 people present in the class. They ranged from children to mature adults. I was unable to get an accurate consensus of the attendees but I know that the class was dominated by women as they were the majority participating. The pace would change during certain moments and Marie would shift around with what she was doing; she did have assistants as visual aid to substitute her on stage while she would walk around and watch us up-close on the field. The field is a bit bigger than a standard football field and is in the middle of the entertainment district in Rosemont - which means restaurants, bars, and people everywhere (awesome!). The ground is made out of an artificial turf which is nice because it does not really stain clothing much - as compared to good old grass haha. The park is also surrounded with beautiful decorations, lights, and speakers. The sound system was hooked up which was nice because it amplified the experience to make it a million times better and extraordinarily unique. The music was very upbeat which was very appropriate for the fast-paced yoga style we practiced. Also the projection of Marie's voice was somehow hooked up in a surround-sound fashion which reinforced the notion of her being real close - I felt as if she was right next to me! CorePower Yoga organized the event and they did warn ahead of time, I am glad that I attended the class. I was excited to attend for the first time as I've wanted to attend this particular class for a real long time now. I honestly did not know what to expect from this experience, because they rotate the teachers, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was challenged and seeing everyone else challenged also created this "need to push more" feel inside of me. Thank you! This course surpassed my expectations!!! The following day I was sore in many areas of my body that I have not been sore in some time - the muscle confusion from changing up the pace and practice definitely did some magic with tearing the muscle fibers that have been craving a different routine. Now I am fired up to expand my yogic studies even more - what a vast and diverse universe Yoga is! We did not do any inversion asanas but we did tons of core work (planks, ab exercises, isometric exercises), warrior poses; we would flow from one pose to another in the natural vinyasa manner that I am used to per Nancy's method of instruction. I experienced tons of burning in my abdominal area throughout the core work - I did need to take some breaks but seeing other people keep going allowed me to reignite the fire within to keep pushing with the exercises. The entire class duration was an hour. We finished with the lotus pose and Marie recited a really nice greeting to all of us - some wishes about sharing peace and love with us and the outside world around us. This activity enhanced my senses of the ideas of yoga by showing me the inclusion of the many older folks and the importance of helping them maintain their mental, physical, and emotional health.

We visited the store one evening recently and had the pleasure of meeting and working with Peter Perron. Peter told us up front that he wouldn't try to sell us something we didn't need. The store is laid out nicely and organized. He asked relevant questions and accurately assessed our needs. Great customer service! He showed us a Lifespan TR4000i and went through the features. It was exactly what we were after and there wasn't any time wasted. We were very impressed with the store and with Peter. If you're looking for exercise equipment you owe it to yourself to plan a visit to this store. We think you'll be very glad that you did. We were!

Great experience this last week buying a treadmill from Rocco. He was very helpful and the delivery guys were professional and did a top notch job setting the treadmill up.

Hadn't heard of 2nd Wind til going w/a friend to buy a treadmill. Great selection of quality new & used equipment! Now, ALL good exercise equipment is pricey, but 2nd Wind matched our Amazon Prime's sale price & free delivery/set up w/o batting an eye. We were able to try out every treadmill we were interested in before buying. & Despite there being just 1 salesman, he kept us & another couple both interested & feeling we had his attention. He was very knowledgeable & quick, so our wait wasn't long, & his wonderful attitude was so infectious, it made the visit a pleasure. So, if U have the $$, & are looking for quality equipment, I highly recommend 2nd Wind for both content & customer service!

One sales person. Waited 20 mins while sales person tried closing a deal with another customer that was there first, then left. Sales person was nice and checked in with us, but as he was the only one there not much more he could've done.
