Here is the TRUTH I checked the opinions of other people and they speak very well but "breakfast" is an exaggeration if that's what you can call it, it's just coffee and donuts, that’s all The room is small, one bed was fine but the other was old. The bathroom barely has room to close the door, it was easier to leave it open. When I saw the room I asked myself: why did people leave such good reviews if it wasn't true? Well, I found out at the reception, they have a paper that says that -if you leave a good review, we give you a gift card. SERIOUSLY???? well here is the TRUTH

Overall horrible hotel. I will never stay here again. The room was dirty with crumbs left on the bed. Wifi sucks! I ended up having to use my own data. They also claim to have breakfast INCLUDED, which they do not. And I paid extra for all of these amenities that I was not provided. Front desk workers have horrible attitude and when you start proving them wrong they turn around and walk away slaming the door behind them. And not to mention the cocoroch and several spiders that we found in the room.

This place is a great value. Especially when considering that less expensive hotels in the area look pretty sketchy. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary dinner that is great! They also offer breakfast. Rooms are clean and modern. Really comfortable pillows. The shower is really nice because they don't put in those cheap ones like you see in other hotels that are not very relaxing. The outside area is well kept with plenty of video monitoring so I wasn't worried about my car. A portion of the parking is even covered. If I ever find myself back in the area this is the only place I'll stay again.

At first the place felt a little sketchy. Cuz I wasn't sure of where I could've parked. So I parked inside the structure and that made me feel even more sketched out cuz along the wall...there was like..a bunch of random junk..but as soon as i checked in i Asked the guy about the parking situation and said i could park there..but i saw another spot open. So i Moved my car out from there and felt so much better. The room I booked was actually pretty nice. Was the king suite with jacuzzi. I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. The only downside of the room was that the jacuzzi didn't work. But the whole shower setup was pretty cool. Oh another downside was the towels! Omg they left lint on everything. Like a good layer of lint just chilling on my skin & hair! The TV had everything from Netflix to YouTube. All connected to an account and ready to be used. All in all..I enjoyed my stay there. Definitely would recommend this place for a last minute getaway. The price was great! For a king suite! I will definitely be back when I need to escape.

Don’t come here, it’s incredibly unsafe two days ago there was a guy who checked in WITH A GUN AND GIRL HELD HOSTAGE!!! Weren’t allowed into our hotel obviously bc of that situation for 5 hours, my room keeps having electricity outages. I mean completely ridiculous, guy at the desk made me wait from 6pm until morning for it to be fixed (This is second night in a row) and now it’s 2;22pm and he said 10 more minutes 10 more minutes 3pm it’ll be fixed! Yeah 10 more added minutes doesn’t add to 3pm. Just terrible room do not waste your money at all

The floors were very sticky and dirty. The room smelled like somebody smoked in it. Also there were multiple food/liquid stains on the walls. I felt the walls were really thin because I could hear anybody that walked by the room however you dont really hear much of your neighbors. The outside door handle was very wobbly. The room photos had shown a Brilliance Smart Home panel which was NOT in my room. The automatic shade rollers didnt work properly. When opening them they wouldnt stop where we wanted and stopped once fully open and the same thing with closing them. Also booking advertises that they serve breakfast...no. Their "breakfast" was a few donuts from the donut shop next door and coffee. Also the staff that is there when you go get breakfast (7am-9am) was extremely rude. I wasnt all sure what was breakfast for the guests and I touched the wrong plate and the staff actually YELLED at me, yelling "dont touch, not for you!" The pictures show a very nice room and the room is exactly as the pictures show however the quality of the room was very poor. Yes they put alot of money into the appliances themselves however they were lacking in other areas like room security. The hotel is in on the border of Alhambra and El Sereno. The only lock for the door was the deadbolt on the door handle. There was no additional lock like most hotel doors have. ALSO I have NEVER stayed in a hotel that did NOT have a phone in the room to contact the front desk or even to call 911 (if needed). The pictures are very misleading. Also in the photos it shows a charging pod...no. If you need anything additional you have to walk all the way to the front desk. Also the hotel does not provide shower chairs so luckily we called ahead and found out so we brought our shower chair from home. The things I liked were my wife and I absolutely loved their shower. If you get their jacuzzi room it comes with a jetted tub and multiple shower heads roll in shower. It allows you multiple shower head settings as well as you control the temperature. The tv came with alot of the popular apps and in case you dont have the streaming services, it had profiles already logged in so you can utilize them. The ac worked beautifully and I kept my room at a cool 62°. Also I liked how the outlets above the desk had usb outlets. The fridge kept my 1/4 gallon of milk nice and cold. Also we liked the complimentary slippers however they are of very poor quality meaning they are super thin but helped out because the floors were very dirty. After walking around barefoot, the bottom of my feet were definitely black. Also while checking in the front desk associate said I had to stay the whole 3 days booked. That made me think that others had planned on staying there but once they saw the location and quality they most likely left because to be honest the pictures show a very classy nice room however the quality is VERY poor.

room not the cleanest, Loud music and stomping around surrounded our room, until 4:30 in the morning! I didn't leave the room due to taking care of spouse who was recovering from a medical procedure. Beds felt like sleeping on just box spring, extremely hard. No elevator access, doing remodeling starting early in the morning and late into the evening. next morning when check out, I informed the front desk of it all, Told her I was unable to call the desk due to no phone in room, was told "You could use your cell phone to call". I do not recommend this hotel.

Driving up doesn't look like much. The parking lot is a bit tight to park but they have a second floor to park which is better for bigger vehicles. The deluxe king bed room was beautiful. The shower was nice and they have charging nightstands. The breakfast they offered Should not be called breakfast. It's donuts, 2 cereals and kureig machine with not that great coffee. This place is perfect if you are not staying in the room long. We only stayed here because it's 5 minutes from the college and we were moving our daughter into her dorm. It was great for that but next time will pay a bit more to have a better overall stay somewhere else. If you are staying one night perfect for that!

Absolutely loved my stay here with my fiancé, came from Vegas and couldn’t have asked for a more reasonable and beautiful hotel to stay at. Staff was exceptional, very clean and quiet. 10/10 would recommend. Until next time Omeo Suites. ❤️

Clean and organized place. Easy to check in. The place is in a area that's very convenient. Easy access to downtown. Also there are a lot of good Chinese Restaurants near by. Great for family and friends that are coming from overseas to stay at. The Price are very reasonable! The room we got was just recently renovated. Very modern feel. New furniture and bed.

Initial assessment of the outside was 2 stars, inside the room appeared to have been updated. However the rooms were very dirty upon check in. Luckily they provided slippers so you dont have to walk on the floors. I was in rm 111 the beds were comfortable in this room but rm 113 the beds were really hard and the same in appearance very dirty...outside grounds were not kept up either..Even though the cost was low per night I suggests paying a little more and get yourself a cleaner better room...I stayed October 13-16....

The bed was comfy, blankets were comfy I was able to plug my gaming console into the TV. The bathroom was clean The sink was clean. The floor was "clean?" I had a decent fridge. There were some cool fish near the hotel entrance. This is essentially all I really need to be pleased with a room. With all of that, this would of been a 4 star experience with a 2 star price HOWEVER There is a lot of things that made me lose points for this place. My first biggest complaint. Extremely rusty showers, I'm not going to pretend I know how negatively it can effect my health , but lets fix that as soon as possible please. My second thing is the air conditioning was EXTREMELY dusty and this is when my paranoia hit and I started wiping down every surface in the room( instead of the usual spraying of lysol) The rest of these are nitpicks that I feel like I could resolve on my own for packing better but... Extremely cheap toilet paper, paper towels, gross looking dispensers for soap. The coffee machine with no coffee cups. Felt this is an easy miss. I was on a 2nd floor and the bars used to go up the stairs looked extremely gritty (BIG NITPICK not a big deal) Also I had no idea there was a "breakfast". Missed that entirely, but from the other reviews it's nothing groundbreaking but also not a big deal either, I'd be okay with oatmeal , toast ,and coffee. TL;DR if it's for a short trip, its ok. The spot is perfect distance from a lot of things in LA, finding the space is a little tricky, and expect some corners to be cut for the price you're paying. I'm mixed on my review for this place because it was more little nitpicks that made me feel slightly uncomfortable more than anything else and it was very cheap! Unfortunately I'll probably won't be back unless Omeo Suites steps into the "3 star" level of service and infrastructure I honestly think that with a bit more budget Omeo can dominate the hotel market. IF and when that happens, you bet i'll be there.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I stayed here this past weekend with my cousins. We got back to our room only to discover they had broken in & taken our stuff!! They took our cards, clothing, laptop, among other stuff! The manager was not helpful AT ALL! He said he could not see our room when we were literally on the first floor, you see the room as soon as you enter the parking lot. Not only that, if you go into the office you see the live security footage streaming right next to the desk! We asked him if he saw anything & he refused to help us. As we waited for the police to come so we could file a report, he just kept watching us through the window treating us as if we were the criminals. He then refused to refund us for that night, we obviously were not going to stay there feeling unsafe! Not only that we later found out the person who robbed us tried to break into our room again after we left. What would have happened if we stayed? DO NOT BOOK HERE SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY. Not worth the bad experience we had

We don't want this posted but we want you to know that there were a few issues with our stay. First, there were only 2 pillows for two people, but they did provide 2 more when we asked. So thank you for that. Second, the side table had a leg that was not attached at all but was in place so when I put pressure on the table the entire thing fell over and everything fell to the floor and there was no plug for the nightstand, so it didn't work either. I pointed this out to the the cleaning staff. Third. We came back Saturday at night and I took a shower and specifically cleaned my feet. The next morning after I had been up for a while but had not left the room my husband noticed that my feet were very dirty. And so were his. As it turns out, even thought the floors look clean , they are not. Please mop the floors regularly! This was really not okay with us! Otherwise the location was great and everything else was fine. Thank you.

The place is beautiful and the room is very clean. Also, the food is delicious and free. In addition, the receptionist is very kind and professional. The most important, the price is good for the service. Really 100% recommended.

Great value for the price point in the area. Clean rooms, good amenities, updated showers / bath. Also a free dinner of some local Chinese food which was surprisingly good. Staff was very straightforward, kind, and welcoming. Will stay again.

At first glance on the website it looks okay. However, when I went to the property, the exterior was absolutely disgusting. The inside of my room smells like cigarette smoke, walls are covered with dirt and paint, dirty/sticky floors. The Omeo suites does not value quality. Omeo suites, don’t reply with the “We promise to do better” reply, because there is absolutely no excuse for this low of quality.

This hotel should not be open. MOST of it is under construction. Do not be fooled by the new branding, this is the BIG BEAR INN. The staff was very nice and professional but I wish that someone would have warned me about the relentlessly loud construction above my head. Truly wish I could attach a video here because the noise was borderline hilarious. No air conditioning in the dead of summer is another very very funny thing not to mention. Also hardwood floors that are filthy? Wth is the point of a hardwood floor if it can’t be hella clean? It’s like the easiest thing to clean. I have stayed in approximately 1,000 hotels in the last five years and this is definitely not the grossest BUT it was the loudest. So that’s something!

The rooms are very clean and nice as well. Also a lot of amenities are available in the room like refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, sofa and a table with a chair. Highly recommend

It was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. Hotel reception Dak, was amazing. He helped us with local hot spots on the island, and suggested an amazing view of the island. Moreover, he is always ready to help even when we lock ourselves out of our room at midnight. Overall great service and great location and friend staff. Will definitely come back.

The rooms were immaculate. So incredibly clean, in my opinion. They provided slippers and the shower was really amazing, I felt like I was in a spa. TV had Netflix, Amazon prime and so many other things. I would stay here again, absolutely. I was very happy with my stay. The owner was kind enough to allow my cat. All in all, a wonderful motel, especially for the price. I can not do better ! THANKS

I love staying here . The staff is super nice and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience. The rooms are remodeled and very cool. They have Netflix and other movie channels you can enjoy on your visit. On weekdays they offer free diner . I mean what else do you want and the prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get your money worth.

Great price, although the entrance says "ambassador inn" they remodeled all the rooms inside so it is nice and clean. Great design and they even have a big TV so you can watch YouTube videos or Netflix if you want. For additional fee I think you can rent a Wii or bring your own playstation. Anyway the rooms are nice so definitely recommend!

👍 I stayed at this hotel for like almost 2 months. I honestly didn't expect much from it as it was listed as a 2 star hotel; thought it would be similar to a days inn.
