Loved their fries and chilli cheese naan! Paneer taka tak and rosemary garlic naan was nice too. We asked them to make it spicy and they didn’t disappoint. I recommend going in if you are in the area and craving Indian food!

This new Indian restaurant on Main Street is a great addition to our local list of restaurants. The restaurant offers the traditional curries and also offers some new interesting items. We tried the stuffed mushroom caps and Malai mascarpone chicken kebab for something new. The mushrooms were really good and not a traditional item we've seen at other Indian restaurants. We got the chicken mascarpone kebabs for the kids and it was so tender and juicy! Highly recommend trying this. We also got our usual: saag paneer, lamb vindaloo, and butter chicken. These dishes were good, and we will definitely be back to try more.

Wow!!!! The flavors coursing through this food are absolutely incredible. Sagar was attentive and full of fun information about the food, and it is clear the chefs really love what they do. It truly shines through in service and flavor. With spices imported directly from India, the use of all natural ingredients leaves you feeling great, both beaming from a delightful experience and with a happy tummy. The chefs are attentive to the complex flavors, making sure everything is bursting with yumminess. The menu had dishes originating from all over India, from southern street food, to the more popular (in usa) northern dishes. Favorite experience: Panipuri appetizer. Favorite flavors: We loved the Chicken Chili (aka wet Chicken 65 if you are familiar), the Tandoori Salmon (soft and flakey) and even the sexy fries! Oh and the garlic truffle Naan. Omg... (We loved it all, but those were definitely the highlights.) Didn't get dessert this time, but I intend to next time. There absolutely will be a next time! Yum yummy yum yum yum!

A new addition to Alhambra's diverse dining cuisine, this place has the right combination to bring it to the next level. Dishes brought the right spices and flavors of high caliber Indian food to your palate. Cosy decor with upbeat bistro music gave the impression of an energetic environment. We visited on the third week of opening and they still had a few kinks to iron out in terms of service. But we're certain they will hit it out of the park in no time. It was nice that the chef came out to chat with us and asked about his food. Hopefully he'll still be able to do that when the place is a full house. You did well, chef. Keep doing what you're doing.

BUTTER CHICKEN That is the headline for this review because they do serve one of the most authentic butter chicken you can find around LA. Apart from that, they have bunch of gourmet style Indian food. I loved the malai chicken kebab. They were perfectly cooked with soft and succulent texture. Definitely go for that. The other personal fav was paneer shashlik, it just melts in your mouth and boasts true authentic Indian flavors. I found out the chef here has actually worked and trained with Sanjeev Kapoor who is a renowned chef and you can definitely tell the difference in food from other places. The ambiance is pretty nice and chill with great service! I would highly recommend this place.

Pretty good Indian restaurant. Their dish presentation is better than other Indian restaurants I've been in around the area. Their taste is pretty decent.

Update on 10/31/23: Absolutely delicious! I ordered takeout on another occasion, and the containers sealed perfectly. Everything was exceptionally fresh and delectable. I intend to return again and again! My favorite place to get Indian food!!! -- I had the pleasure of dining at this delightful Indian restaurant located on Main Street in Alhambra. I was excited to finally try this place, especially on a Friday evening around 5:30, as I was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. Upon my arrival, I noticed that only one couple was there, and they soon left. The waitress, who was the sole waitress/server, was pleasant! I ordered the vegetarian Coconut Pumpkin Curry (made with mustard seed curry leaf coconut milk), along with garlic naan and saffron rice. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were quite generous. It made for a wonderful evening, and we didn't feel rushed at all. The only thing worth mentioning is that as more people started arriving, the waitress couldn't check on us, and I found myself needing a refill of water due to the spiciness of the dish (I can't take spicy foods heh ). However, I understand that she was the only waitress, and two large parties arrived after us. Nevertheless, this is not a big deal. One other minor issue I noticed was that the lids for the takeout containers didn't close properly. I hope they can address this in the future, but it's not a major concern. Apart from that, the food was incredibly delicious, and I'm very satisfied with the overall experience. I'll definitely be returning in the future, 100%!

This is one of the best Indian restaurants around Los Angeles area. We ordered their signature dishes- chicken kabab and butter chicken. Both were extraordinary in taste as well as presentation. The staff were very friendly and we had a really great time here. Suggest everyone to try this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious Indian food restaurant! They were open on Memorial day and I stopped by during lunch time. Service was quick and they were very friendly. I was going to get the lunch special, but it isn't available weekends or holidays, not a big deal. I ordered the chicken Tikka masala, garlic Naan, cumin-cilantro rice, and a mango Lassi. Everything tasted fresh and wonderfully seasoned. I was definitely able to eat my fill and look forward to trying some of their other dishes.

My brother, my mom's fiance, and I spotted this place and decided to give it a try. I'm vegan so I usually can find something to eat at Indian restaurants. This place had a whole section on the menu for vegan food and vegan food scattered around the rest of the menu. I got the jackfruit masala, roti bread, and a young coconut to drink. My brother got the eggplant curry and he loved it, and the rice was a lot as a side. I thought my food was amazing and had just the right amount of spice. The roti was good and I liked dipping it in my masala sauce. The restaurant looks like it used to be an old barbeque restaurant, but they have redecorated to have Indian decore and it looks really nice. The service was decent. They took our order, but some things were forgotten. Jason (the fiance) ordered Naan bread and he had to ask a few times before it showed up after we had eaten everything. Otherwise they did great at checking on us and refills and things.

We got chicken chilly and chicken signature kebab as a starter and was fantastic. For the main course I had chicken tikka masala and garlic nann which I guess is the must.

Really excited to have this place close by, my partner and I ate here tonight for the first time since we often go to a restaurant near there. I would say this place is the closet I’ve gotten and on par with one of my favorite Indian/Nepalese restaurants in Davis, California where we went to college. Tonight we got the Saag Paneer, butter chicken, the garlic and plain naan, and rice. It was all so good, you can tell the chef and cooks in the kitchen are talented and putting effort into every dish. I enjoyed the ginger garnish on the saag paneer and the flavor and cook on the butter chicken was 10/10. I would say I have a high bar with Indian food. I started with chicken biriyani made by my friends mom as a young child and my family and I have loved this cuisine ever since. Looking forward to trying the chicken biriyani and the weekday lunch special in the future!

Finding a good Indian restaurant in Alhambra or Monterey Park and also in the San Gabriel Valley it's hard to find or there's few Indian restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. There's is only one Indian restaurant in Alhambra but now there's a another Indian restaurant on Main St that's kept me cited because my wife and I enjoy Indian food. The name of the restaurant is Delhi Belly I like the name of it. We came to the restaurant in a rainy day but we were very hungry and also try what kind of items they serve I know some Indian restaurants served different version of the Indian cuisine and also trying fusion to bring Indian and other nationality to created new flavors. We were seated right away and handed us the menu and we were looking at the menu and the items sound really especially thev chicken tikka taco no jokes tacos that thev one thing we were very curious about. We start to order the potato & peas Samosa then the chicken tikka taco then the signature butter chicken, and rice we also order garlic Naan and Rosemary and garlic naan. The potatoe & peas Samosa were amazing good the outside was very crispy and golden brown but the filling potatoe & peas were delicious great flavors but come to two dipping flavors they were also good but not spicy. The chicken tikka tacos is our favorite item because it have so much flavor when you take a bite you want more we enjoy it. The signature butter chicken was full of flavor that we enjoy this dish with the rice it add more flavor and garlic naan and the Rosemary and garlic were so good. We enjoy the food we will come back with friends and try out different items.

The food was so flavorful and the Garlic Naan was nice and toasty! We tried the Panipuri for starters and for our main got the Lamb Vindaloo, Chettinad Chicken Curry with Saffron Rice.

    1. Food - Awesome Indian food with the slightest hint of Mexican fusion. I tried the Tikka Masala (5 stars) and was so happy they made me another togo order with the fajita mix taken out … I despise raw onions and they accommodated my request, cheers to great service! The Sag Paneer (4.5 stars) was delicious but not as flavorful, and finally, the Chicken Korma (5 stars) was my favorite as it tasted fresh straight out of the pressure cooker: tender, juicy, and flavorful! My advice is just get plain rice or plain naan since the sauces were perfect and mixing the flavor would mess with perfection! Please don’t change the recipe since it is so difficult to find great Indian food around Alhambra. 2. Loooove the contemporary atmosphere, Hindi-Spanish club music, and clean tables and bathrooms. Will definitely come back more often for lunchtime specials. 3. Service is quick-ish when busy. If you want it super fast just order it to go. The food is worth the wait though, I went during rush hour and didn’t wait too long.

Still SO good after almost a year! We love the korma and the pani puri so much now! We followed the chef here from Culver City (Arth) for his original, refined elevated Northern Indian dishes. We were surprised at the low key cafe but there is plenty of lot parking and homey, inviting decor and a big welcome. Everyone here seems to just love being here and the feeling is contagious. And we weren't disappointed in the food. We had the naan while we were waiting and it as standout thinner, extra crispy, flavorful as ever. The Chettinad chicken curry also stands out for the finesse and interest that is in every dish at this restaurant. We tried some of the vegetarian dishes ordered for the table: jackfruit masala and mushroom kofta—roasted stuffed mushrooms with onion - satisfying enough to take the place of any meat protein.Still our old favorites of the Tandoori Cornish Hen and the lamb chops are always a must-order. Destination drive worthy, found a no-freeway shortcut through Mission Road all the way to DTLA and west.

I was here on yesterday and i must say it's really good Indian authentic food. The butter chicken is a must try with saffron rice. Good good and great ambience.

The dishes had a good amount of spiciness. The saffron rice was good. Didn't ask about non alcoholic drinks. Only got water but that was fine. Server was kind. Timeliness was reasonable. Restrooms are clean.

Pretty good place overall. Came in and was greeted and seated pretty quick, menus are a little sparse on detail but have enough to make a decision. Ordered mango lassies which were good but a little thinner than I'm used to. Got the garlic truffle naan and chili cheese naan, again good but a little thinner (and crispier) than I'm used to/like. Paneer Tikka Masala and Lamb Pepper Fry were both pretty tasty, decent size, overall pretty good. Cumin cilantro rice tasted like normal rice, not worth the small price difference, but still pretty good. Overall pretty nice, especially considering they just opened. I think with a little time they'll really grow into themselves and I can bump up to 5 stars 🤩
