Amazing service and delicious food. Shakeys is always the option when celebrating any special date. The staff here is very friendly and anything you need they will go out their way to make it happen...

Always a good time at the Shakeys in Alhambra! I have been coming here for years and have always had an amazing experience. The food is always so tasty here. The pizza has the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. The fried chicken is always so juicy and perfectly fried. The mojos are my favorite! They are always fresh and crispy, they way I like it! Also, the managers here are super friendly and attentive especially Henry and Brenda.

The restaurant in general is the best I ever been to, Reyna is the best cook, she makes the Crispy and juicy fry chicken. Delicious 😋 pizza and mojos are also delicious!!. Go Gators! From Gates Street Elementary School

The managers Brenda and Henry are very helpful. We went to another Shakey's where my daughter put in to much money to play in the arcade and when we arrive yesterday night 🌃 i asked the manager which was Brenda and asked if we were able to get something since we weren't able to use our tokens both Henry and Brenda immediately said most definitely so my daughter was able to play they were able to put the tokens on the card since they have a new system that they use cards so they went out their way to help us out. We sure enjoy our dinner and my daughter was able to play 🎮🕹️🎰 thank you they made my daughter's and us the 🌉 night

Bri's 7th birthday loomed on the horizon, and as fate would have it, our initial party plans unraveled, leaving us in a predicament. However, in our moment of need, Shakey's emerged as our savior. A few days prior to Bri's birthday, we called the Alhambra location to set a reservation for September 24th. Fortunately they had 2:30pm available to us so we quickly booked the reservation. The Thursday before the party, I went in person to talk to Brenda, the manager, about the details, menu, and space for the party. Brenda was amazingly accommodating, patient, and understanding of our few requests. Together we created a menu that would satisfy 25 hungry family members and the times we wanted our meals to be ready for everyone. Without hesitation, Brenda assured me that everything on the day would run smoothly. I left appreciative for the support and communication to help make Sunday an amazing day. Sunday finally arrived and we were so excited that we arrived at 1:45pm for a 2:30pm party. Brenda had already reserved our table space near the corner of the restaurant, adjacent to the game room. We quickly decorated with table cloths, party favors, and balloons. Before we knew it, it was 2:30pm and both our guests, and the first round of pizza, chicken, and mojos arrived. Our guests immediately complimented both the cleanliness of the Shakey's and the overall joyous vibe and electric atmosphere. The music was finger-snappingly refreshing, the pizzas were piled with toppings, and let's not forget about the deliciously crispy chicken and mojos. Its safe to say most of what we ordered was feverishly eaten within a few minutes, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Brenda was attentive the entire time, managing both our needs and the needs of the restaurant with precision and ease. Brenda's support team was second to none. Everyone excelled and was courteous, polite, engaging, and alert. Jason, Percy, Giselle, and Jason the manager went so far above and beyond to make our day special, we were really thankful for their presence and attention to detail. Whenever we needed additional utensils or plates, or to clear space, Giselle and Percy and both Jason's were there to assist. Their 'can-do' attitudes were definitely appreciated. After what seemed like mere seconds, 4:30 quickly approached. Knowing there was another party with a reservation after us, we did the best we can to clean up and dismantle our area. I can't thank Shakey's enough for their warm welcome and graciousness. Bri's party was a hit and we look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you again to Brenda, Jason, Percy, Giselle, and Jason for making it a truly special day for all of us.

The Alhambra location is the best Shakey's in the area by far. Went here for a birthday party and was immediately drawn to the cleanliness of the restaurant and professionalism of the staff. Definitely recommend and will be back. Shout-out Gates Elementary, Go Gators!

A pizza buffet is genius! Lunch here was great. Cheap prices, decent food, all you can eat. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the lot. Very spacious. Great for parties—there’s even an arcade in the back. It’s a busy and popular place. As for the food: salad, spaghetti, mashed potatoes & corn were meh. The pizza though—great flavor, thin & crispy crust. Fried potatoes were crunchy outside and soft inside. And the fried chicken was fantastic! So juicy and tender. Keep an eye out for a fresh batch because that gets snapped up fast. Literally just skip all the other food and go for those three, that’s where Shakey’s shines. Don’t forget to wear loose clothes, haha you’ll feel more comfortable after your meal.

Book a reservation for 50 people but at the end it was more that what I expected. The manager Brenda is such a sweetheart ❤️ she made this day memorable. I was stressing out, but her team Percy, Christian, Michael, and Henry, the manager were able to make this possible. Thank you again I will recommend this Alhambra location to everyone. My friends were amazed by the customer service from the managers and the employees 👏 thank you again.

came in on a very busy Saturday night, the staff was attentive found us a table right away, Henry answered all our questions regarding the menu, our food came out quickly which is a plus when you have hungry toddlers. and of course, our girls had fun playing all the games and collecting their prizes. It was a great family night with good food and fun games. this was our first time at this location and had a great experience so would definitely come back and recommend this location. Henry and the rest of the staff were not only helpful and professional but also friendly.

Stopped for the bunch of lunch.plenty of fresh pizza, chicken both baked & fried, mojo fries, spaghetti and salad. We ordered and picked a table. At least 50 people there already still no problem getting a booth. Food was good and we enjoyed our lunch.

Absolutely love Shakey's for the bunch a lunch deal and the GREAT food. They have one of the best fried chicken around and those delicious mojos are to die for and let's not forget the always fresh salad bar. 🤤🤤🤤

The reason for this review it’s simply because it was closed. Google maps had it open but, it was not open and has a sign stating it was closed. Would’ve been nice to know before hand so I wouldn’t have wasted gas.

Today April 14th i took my family in for dinner. I ordered at 5:53pm and sat down like normal. After a long time I noticed that parties that arived after us were being served. Approximately 45 minutes after ordering I asked if our order was up soon. The team member I asked said he would check. The team scrambled around looking puzzled. I asked again and was told it would be five more minutes. By this time my small children were upset seen other families that eat their meals. At roughly ten minutes later as I continued to watch the team try to figure out the situation I decided enough was enough and I walked up to requested a refund. The manager was was called to process the refund of items I did not receive. No attempt to remedy the issue or provide some type of positive customer was made. I was given a refund for items pending. I took my family to our vehicle and then walked back in to get some explanation as to the the issue. The manager said it was and issue on the system that only part of the order was appearing on the screen. This mad enough sense since one of the order had been taken to our table. At this time only after I returned did the manager make an attempt to offer me the meal i never received which i did not accept. I am truly disappointed with the way quality of service has taken a turn. My family and i have been patrons of the Alhambra location for over 40 years. I am sad to say that after this lack of customer service Shakeys may have permanently lost my patronage.

The pizza here is absolutely wonderful. Ive been coming here since I was 5 and I think the thin crust is easily the best thing. The other best thing are the mojos and I highly reccoment eating those with ketchup. The service is good and more often than not, you won't be waiting more than 5-10 minutes for your pizza unless youre eating at peak hours. It's highly recommended to go to bunch of lunch from 11-2pm since you get a large deal eating then.

Clean Shakey's not too crowded during buffet hours. Bar area with lots of TVs. Cool spot for a few brews and a game.

Only reason why it’s not a 5 star is because I feel they always skimp out on the rustic chicken pizza. It takes much longer than for them to replace than the other pizzas. Thankfully the manager had some made specially for me after I requested.

We ordered two small pizzas. One taste good but the other one is just so so.

Clean. Great service. Down fall is Shakeys does not allow chicken menu options to be substituted with other pieces and it was a huge disappointment that we had to spend extra money on food we would not eat. But over all the staff was very helpful and the food was great.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our little dinner and a movie date. SHAKEYS food is always bomb. They never let me down!

Spent over $600 for a birthday party and i regret going there. The manager only came out to kick us out once we hit the 2 hours. She never bothered to ask to put the cake in the fridge or help us light the candle i had to ask her after she kicked us out. The food came out fast within 5 minutes which was really odd. Made me believe it was leftovers from the lunch buffet.

OMG the night shift 🙌🙌🙌🙌 the night shift team is amazing!!!!!!! I didn’t make no reservations and it was definitely last minute dinner after my son’s High School graduation. I was a party of 15 and no tables were available only booths. Kimberly (manager) was awesome enough to approach me and give me a heads up that a party was ending and a long table will be available in a few minutes. The team cleaned up and we were in 🙌 The team was so helpful and they were on top of everything before I asked for items. The cashier helped me decide on the appropriate party package to accommodate my party and it was exactly what we needed. The food was enough for my party plus we were all able to take some home. Thanks Kimberly for your professional customer service skills and having an awesome team behind you.
