Food is ok. Mondays have only one person and he is busy. Restroom is not neat due to under staff issue, I think. It is a good place to visit with 4 people or more. So when you BBQ, you don’t keep the meat on the hot plate too long. You can always try freshly cooked meat that way. If only 2 people, it may take longer to consume the meat and it ends up being over cooked sometimes. Parking is easy, just across the street at Burlington’s parking lot. Due to the rising price of meat, they have changed to rule that each time you can only order 2 types of meat. I can understand even it feels a bit annoying.

I don't normally review a place more than once. My first experience was a mess. My second experience was a lot better. I was introduced to the salad bar and found all the yummy sides that are usually brought to your table at other restaurants. But this one is self serve and you can pile it on. So I changed my review. I'm changing it again. Last night we went back. The waiter was decent, the meats were good. But the salad bar was yucky. My favorite, the potato salad, was liquid. The cucumbers were a little over marinated. But the worst part was the larger party of people they sat next to us. The woman right beside me was coughing incessantly. She wasn't covering her mouth and she was talking loudly to the people across the table from her. At one point, she turned right at me and coughed. I looked around to see if staff was paying attention. We were in the front and the cashier was looking. Throat snot was flying everywhere. We stopped eating and left.

This place is absolutely unprofessional and should not be open for business. My bf and I stopped in because it was open and smelled good from the outside. We came in sat down and ordered our meats. One of the meats was a marinated rib finger meat. It came out and right away we could tell it wasn’t marinated. Popped it onto the grill let it cook and tasted like absolutely nothing. I told the waiter and he just shrugged it off and said “he didn’t make the meats”. My bf ended up eating absolutely nothing. He didn’t touch any of the meats we ordered or anything from the salad bar. All he ate was a steamed egg. I had everything on my plate. All the meats, stuff from the salad bar and rice. My bf asked the waiter since he didn’t end up eating anything if it was ok to not be charged. That he would pay for the steamed egg he ordered and for “one all you can eat person”. The waiter said sure no problem man let me ask for you. Five minutes later the kid and his manager come to our table WITH THE POLICE. THEY CALLED THE POLICE AND TOLD THEM WE WERE REFUSING TO PAY! Not one single time did we try to get up to leave, not one single time did we even say or even refuse to pay. NOT ONCE. We told the cops what we had asked the kid and told them we had never refused to pay. All we did WAS ASK A QUESTION. The police apologized for the confusion and asked us to just pay. COMPLETELY EMBARRASSING, UNNECESSARY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. AND RUDE. Not only that my bf is disabled. He showed the police his cane telling them we weren’t even going anywhere. We weren’t trying to even leave. I was still eating my food as well?? We ended up paying and just left. I completely lost my appetite we were so embarrassed. NEVER AGAIN. Maybe don’t hire teens to work here and get a better manager that won’t assume things about how someone looks and who racially profile them as well. Completely disrespectful!!!

Great BBQ. The meat quality was awesome and the little buffet for the banchan, it was great to go up and grab as much or as little. My favorites were the bone-in galbi and the pork jowl. Both were great once grilled to perfection. The service was good for them being understaffed. So please be patient with them!!

We came during lunch. The bartender was very friendly. The waitstaff was attentive. What's efficient is that the sides that typically come with ayce bbq are at a salad bar buffet style so the customer can pick which sides they want and as many times as they want. The meat quality was decent.

I had an amazing experienced tonight. I'd been to Gen Korean BBQ and the times id gone the waiting period is ridiculous from 45 minutes to an hour and the service a 3 out of 10. Tonight my wife and I decided to come to Road to Seoul BBQ, from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff and did not had to wait at all, right away we were taken to a table and the service was fantastic, the server was very friendly, very attentive always coming to our table making sure we have all we needed to enjoy our food, we also got to meet the owner and she is a sweetheart, very friendly. I highly recommended this restaurant, i am definitely taking my family and even will be recommending this great place to friends, and colleagues.

Not sure what happened. This place used to be okay. Had a nice buffet and all. This was the first time I came here since the pandemic. Service was bad. Waiters were young kids that seemed annoyed serving us. Food was not good. Some meat and seafood had a bad stench. And the buffet was very limited. Brisket meat was good though. It was the only good meat.

A ROBOT BROUGHT US OUR MEAT!! All you can eat kimchi bar?! Yes please! We had the deluxe, everything was pretty good but seems a little pricey for $40 per person. The staff was cool and they have a new robot server that delivers meat to your table! The LA short rib was really good. Would definitely go back and probably will start choosing this place over Gen across the street.

Ban chan are in an open buffet, which is a major plus. Meat portions are brought out in small portions but service is quick. This means you can try many different cuts and not get too full on one type of meat. There is also a wide variety of meats. Service is quick, ensuring you are never waiting for the next selection. The one thing I didn't quite like was the rice. It was long grain rice and not sticky rice. But overall I really liked this place and will go back.

First time here the food was great the service was great. Very accommodating for people who dine there solo like I was. Service was phenomenal, my grill was changed very frequently. Will definitely go back when I come back for work.

Haven't been back here since the grand opening. Not the best experience., but then again it was so crowded that time. Went the other day, and the experience was quite enjoyable. The atmosphere had a good vibe to it. The manager/owner was very attentive to changing our grill and making sure we had enough meat for our deluxe ALL YoubCan Eat menu option. Didn't want to mix the salad bar this time, was ready to just 3njoy the BBQ experience. Filet Mignon was ok. The Marinated Short Ribs were the Bomb! Ribeyeye n Brisket were quite tasty. And who doesn't love KPOP vids while you're enjoying your meal. Far better experience this time around.

Overall, Road to Seoul is a good option for an after movie meal. There is a Gen BBQ a block away, so there is competition for them Interior is spacious with lots of tables and somewhat bright with a modern techno vibe. They have a base menu with standard items for $30. The deluxe is $36 and adds a dozen more items. I suppose what sets them apart is they have a self-serve salad bar with mixed green salad, korean potato salad, and some kimchee Service is ok. The waitress who initially took our order lost our order, so we sat around for 20 minutes waiting for our food. Others got seated and got their food right away. The manager walked by a few times but didn't say or so anything. But once the other servers got involved, the meat dishes came at a steady pace. The grill plate was changed often. I am not sure if they made a mistake or if they want customers to fill up on less expensive items, but the Bulgogi dishes were huge. Items such as short rib and pork belly came in much smaller portions. note this. You can't beat the hours. They are open from 11am to 2am. A parking garage is behind the restaurant with 4 hours of free parking.

Been to this place several times. Always great service and food! They have a few different tiers and happy hour depending on the day. The robots delivering the meat is a nice touch. They have the banchan buffet style. So you can go up and grab it anytime without having to wait! I like that. Never too busy and always great service! Staff is friendly and is pretty good on checking in with you throughout your dining experience.

Service was decent, the wait staff looked quite grumpy. I get that it was Thanksgiving day, the look on their faces was evident. Dennis and Lulu need to smile and have a better outlook. If you dread work, time will go by slower. If you're happy about what you are doing, time will actually fly by. My boys and I had a great time, food was good. I look forward to returning. I just hope the wait staff will be in a better mood.

The food is good, just bring someone who knows how to cook. The large room is very smokey. Definitely not enough servers. We had to ask for something three times before it was finally brought out. Very loud house music plays so for all the NDs out there, be prepared. I would not recommend this place.

Great food, great place for both large and small gatherings. It does get a little noisy so you might want to go elsewhere if you're looking for quiet conversations.
